Severus and Desella managed to rent a private carriage as they both set on the trip. Severus always had his ways with money so it wasn't shocking for Desella. In fact, she enjoyed the luxurious ride. 

"Severus, how much time it will take for us to reach Hui Island?"

Severus was casually sitting inside the carriage with his eyes closed. When he heard Deselal's chatter he opened his eyes to reply her. "It will take no less than a week. Why do you look so happy? You are literally bathing in radiance?" Severus was no fool and he keenly observed her happiness. 

Desella just smiled.

Rivera kingdom.

"So he left?" A handsome man clad in royal robes was reading a book on his desk. He looked up and met Melanie's gaze. 

"Yes Maverick they both left"

Maverick scrutinized his gaze as he tried capturing every emotion on her face but he failed at capturing. Melanie' was not a kid but a pro player in this game. She exactly was aware of Maverick's suspicion so she played by the ear. 

"Didn't you told them that they need my permission to leave this palace?"

"Of course I did but they didn't pay any heed to it" As soon as Melanie finished Maverick went into contemplation.

Melanie was surprised. Out of all the questions she didn't anticipate Maverick to ask this question. She was actually stumped for words. She flicked her hair to one side as she replied. "I thought you were interested in them so I came here to inform you"

"Aaaah informing. Thanks, Melanie now since you have done your work I guess you need to go back. You see I am busy. Now if you may...." Maverick asked Melanie to leave. Her face turned stormy after listening to him but no matter how furious she was she didn't dare to show it in on her face.

"I see. Good night Crown prince."

With light steps, she backed off and disappeared from his room. As soon Maverick heard the clinking noises his smile deepened.

Malanie Melanie oh my dear. I still can't believe I fell for you. I killed Severus for your sake but what the heck did I get in return? Nothing just misery and your betrayal. Damn you girl. You just can't hide anything from me. The day I saw you hugging Severus on our engagement night I totally lost it. It was as if Several nats were biting me. That day feeling of being burned alive and freezing in cold ice was experienced by me and that too simultaneously. I still remember the torture and how much anger was in me and with each hit that I gave to Severus my anger quenched but the guilt increased. I feel lucky that it was not me but you who killed him. At least you saved me from having the sin of killing my own sworn brother. Every night I can't sleep because as soon as I try to sleep I recall the night he died. Day by day it traumatized me but I don't regret it. Not at all. If I get another chance then I would surely love to follow everything. I would love to witness how cruel you can be. How cold-hearted you can be to even kill the person you loved the most.

I don't get it why are you so obsessed with him? What is there in him that I don't possess? Sometimes I feel I am looser. There are countless beautiful girls who wanted to be accepted by me but you on the other hand refuse to it. I guess its' my fate to be a one-sided lover and I accepted it a long ago. As soon as Maverick finished questioning himself he jabbed the pen in his hands. The muscles on his neck were bulging out whereas he was sweating profusely. Only he knows how much he tried finding out the answer but the more he was unable to get the more pressure he was having. A month has even passed since Severus' death and a brand new Severus was now living in his palace. Was it fate or heavens were mocking him. No one was aware of his inner turmoil. Maverick was a person who never believed in prophecies and reincarnation but at this moment he just wanted to believe in it with everything he got. Although the idea was a bit far etched still he desperately hoped that the current Severus is the reincarnation form of his brother. 

The first time he saw him his heart stopped beating for a second. He felt like he was in a dream. Like the other dreams he was having but this one felt surreal. The only thing which was different here was Severus' hair color. Whether it was an illusion or reality Maverick just wanted to believe that Severus and Savy were the same people. He tried with his entire might to find the whereabouts of this person to his dismay he found nothing. Whatever information he got matched with the exact information Desella told him. Maverick had his own doubts thus he asked Severus and Desella to spend the rest of the time period in his palace 

"I hope you reveal everything Severus"

Just like this a week passed. Desella had a lot of fun on her way whereas Severus was remained quiet for most of his journey. Noworry too followed them but Severus hardly saw that lil birdie since Noworry was enjoying his freedom too. Severus sighed when he saw how childishly Desella and noworry were behaving.

There Carriage came to halt as they reached the island.

"Master we have reached Hui Island. I don't have a permit so you both have to climb down and get one for yourself" The coachman politely asked them to get down. Severus was the first one to come out followed by Desella. He paid 3 gold coins to the coachman. After paying his fare Severus warned Desella. "Just don't recklessly roam okay. I know nothing about this island so it's better you behave. Cover yourself with veil and hand me the luggage." 

Like a good man, Severus took the luggage from Desella's hands and started walking towards the registration office. 

Desella observed that most of the ladies here hiding their faces in the veil so she did the same however nothing can be straight with Severus. She observed a few of the ladies drooling over Severus' charisma even from their veil.

"..."

She gritted her teeth as she scolded Severus. "It should be you who should cover your face. Just take a look around yourself and see how many women are drooling over you as if you are a piece of meat that they just want to devour."

Severus heard Desella's accusations and sighed. He really was innocent. It's not his fault to have this face.

"You seriously blaming me Desella?"

She snorted in pure disdain to acknowledge Severus' accusations.

"..."

Severus was speechless 

He didn't want to entertain these useless accusations thus he ignored Desella's remark and went for the registration office. Soon he followed the local procedures and got a permit easily. Well, it was partly thanks to Melanie. Severus tried his luck and used the old golden seal which Melanie gave him during his shopping. Severus earlier denied it when Melanie was giving it but Desella persuaded Severus to just keep it in case. Who would have thought the seal to work here? This only showed that there was an estranged relationship between Hui Island and Rivera kingdom. When the officers saw the royal seal they were shocked but soon completed all the formalities and even asked one of his officers to innate the layout of Hui Island to them. Severus thanked them and soon entered Inside the Hui Island. 

Desella who was quiet the entire time quirked her eyebrows as she asked, "So Severus what is our relationship here?" 

Severus narrowed his eyes and warned Desella. Don't you even think about trying something funny? There might be a high chance that we are being followed up. I don't believe in Melanie. If she allowed us to leave then she surely would have a backup. Just how idiot do you take her for?" 

Severus was exasperated by Desella's intelligence. He always felt that there were some loose screws in her head.

Desella Kicked him in his shins in annoyance and grumbled.

"Hungry?" Severus was on point.

"What do you want to eat?"

"Severus I always had a doubt in me?"

"Hmmm?"

"Since I am will I believe I don't know what love is or what humanity is but tell me what are the views of ghosts? To be particular what were the views of Jane on it?"

"DESELLA....didn't we discussed never open this topic again?"

"I know I know we did but I'm just curious. "

Severus sighed and finally compelled to tell everything.

"Humans are scum. All the feelings and love are useless and become just talks when they are applied in reality. Just look at yourself. You are no better than me. "

Severus calmly recited everything Jane said. The more Severus said the more vivid the expressions were off Desella and ultimately she concluded. It doesn't matter whether you were will or a ghost or anything. For having humanity it wasn't necessary to be human. Anyone who could understand compassion and help someone when they are in need is turned humanity. Vice Versa, all humans can't be considered to have humanity. Some humans were just like scavengers. Feeding on negativity.
