"Nowadays, she is like a walking corpse."

"Won't talk to anyone other than Hugo."

"Someone is jealous?" Arthur joked with him but shut up when he received a glare from Vladis.

"No, on a serious note, Laura isn't capable of controlling Camy. So, no, she isn't the one who is behind all this but to find the mastermind, I still can't kill Laura."

"Vladella?"

"No, she is out of the question."

"Then who?"

"That's what we need to find out?"

"Anyways, I tried to bind her energy since I knew it will be at its peak on full moon, but I failed, or should I say, the silver failed"

"The talisman ruined everything."

"Bang on"

"That's all that happened inside the castle that day. Now you tell me, what did you dig up in the rat hole?"

"Rathole?"

"Seriously Arthur?"

"I don't have any better adjective to describe the kind of place where members of Dark Triad live?"

He shrugged innocently.

Sigh!

"Nothing is good about them. That place reeks of evil, to be honest"

"Vladella, she told me about Aunt Gwen. It wasn't anything good, almost all of her explanations. She received a letter. I don't know about the sender but sue was visibly disturbed and then gave me this address, asking me to kill the parson of this church"

"Why?"

"I don't know. She said he knew something that he shouldn't be knowing. I wonder why he is alive until now?"

"Any leads about your father?"

Vladis shook his head.

Ding-Dong

Arthur shut his mouth when he heard the floor bell.

"Someone is early for his death" He chuckled.

A few minutes later a knock was heard.

"Come inside"

It was Jeff.

"Lord, Parson Norman just returned back. Shall I tell him about you?"

"Sure," Vladis replied.

"Wait" Arthur stopped him.

Both Jeff and Vladis were puzzled.

"Let him know only about Vladis. It would be good to wait and see what relationship he has with your mother"

This made sense so Vladis agreed to it.

"Alright Jeff, go tell him that Vladis, son of Vladella came to meet him"

"Yes lord," he left after a slight bow.

"Parson"

A big burly man with crooked teeth stopped in his tracks when he heard a soft voice. A disgusting grin plastered all over his face.

"Honey? Is something the matter?"

"Were you missing me because I definitely missed you"? His words were laced with honey while his stare, was too absurd.

"You need to behave today, we have some guests," Jeff said aggressively. It was a totally different way that he displayed in front of Arthur.

The crooked man was delighted earlier but when he heard they were having guests, he frowned. No one ever came to visit, except some occasional visits of people who got lost in the woods.

Who could it be?

"Honey, I don't follow"

The wooden floor creaked a little when a man entered. Parson's eyes bulged out when he saw who walked in.

"Ross….." he inaudibly whispered.

He looked like he got the shock of his life. His hands, his foot, then his entire body started trembling. Tears escaped from his eyes, while he lost his voice. As he tried to speak, he choked on his own sob.

"And this is, Sir Vladis, son of Vladella" Jeff who was stumped by his reaction managed to overcome his shock and introduced Vladis.

Vladis smiled brightly when he saw Parson making the latter heart flutter.

And there you made a grave mistake. Jeff silently mumbled in his mouth to Vladis.

"Jeff"

"Yes"

"Leave us alone and don't come unless I call for you"

Jeff was afraid to leave. He wanted to warn Vladis but Norman was not giving him any chances. He hesitated and was going to warn Vladis but saw Arthur, from the window behind the person, denying him too.

He heeded his advice. He knew, between the two of them, he was the real deal.

He silently left the room.

The moment the door was closed, the fat old man threw himself on Vladis, hugging him tightly.

Arthur, who was sneaking from the window, nearly fell from the window due to uncontrollable laughter. His guess was right, so was his decision to send Vladus first.

This Parson used to swing the other way and was kinky.

"Oh Ross...I mean Vladis I missed you. I can't…..it's too unrealistic"

"How can you resemble him so much?" He was visibly emotional.

Uhh..

Vladis was totally caught off guard by his passion.

"I am here to kill you," he said without losing his smile, turning Parson Norman cold to his feet. He immediately backed away.

"Knew it. That bitch is still playing mind games"

'Watch what you speak" Vladis warned him but Parson scoffed in disdain.

"If I die, I will make sure her secrets travel far, to the end corners of the earth,"

Bringing his sword out, he put it on his neck. "No more gibberish. I don't have time for this. Do you have any last words?" The cold blade touched the skin of his neck, shuddering him, as he fell on the group with a loud plop.

"No. Don't kill me. She will regret it"

"I guess you don't have anything to say.'' He pushed the cold blade deep in his skin, as little blood seeped through the wound.  Parson wailed like a slaughtered pig.

"No. Have mercy on me. Why are you doing this?"

"Why, you ask?"

"Isn't it obvious? I am just following my mother's wishes" He said coldly.

Norman chuckled when he heard it.

"That bitch didn't change over time. First, she played your father, now she is playing with your emotions"

"Why do you all follow what she says?" He shouted aggressively.

"Father?" It was the second time he heard about his father. He would be lying if he said he wasn't curious to know who his father was.

He placed his sword back in scabbard, as he crouched near him. Looking straight into his eyes, he questioned, "you knew about my father?"
