Severus woke up and came down from the bed and yawned while stretching his body.

"Noworry I am going to freshen up. See you later"

[Okay, I am going outside for patrol too. See you after half an hour]

Noworry didn't want to think about Severus' odd behavior so he flew towards the window and then flew away.

Severus laughed while seeing Noworry. Although Noworry was a heavenly beast still his activities were fun to watch. For Severus Noworry was a buddy which was similar to a pet.

Alright. Severus, it's time for your bath. Let's head up to the bathroom.

After half an hour Severus was all fresh and ready to pay a visit to his old friends. He walked outside the hotel and soon spotted a blackbird stealing fruits from the fruit vendors.

They were irritated but were helpless against Noworry. Despite his small size, he was very agile thus making it difficult for anyone to catch it.

Severus"..."

Severus was truly speechless. He never imagined Noworry to steal. He was a little embarrassed too since Noworry was his pet, so it was his responsibility for feeding him but he ignored it. With this thought in his mind, he took large strides and soon came in front of a fruit stall. When Noworry saw Severus he became awkward and embarrassed. He stopped creating ruckus and quietly perched on his shoulder.

Severus wanted to lecture Noworry for stealing but after seeing his obedience he didn't have the heart to scold the poor bird. He paid for the fruits which Severus stole and even brought a bunch of grapes for Nowory and went on his way to the palace.

"Aren't you embarrassed to steal? If you wanted to eat them, you could have asked me. Why didn't you? Am I that unworthy in your eyes?", Severus asked softly. It was obvious that he truly hurt.

Noworry [....]

[Severus did you hit your head in sleep or did you slip in the bathroom today, so your screws became light? Should I tight them for you?] Noworry mocked him. He didn't feel an ounce of shame in front of Severus now.

He was being blatantly shameless.

Severus"...."

"Does Hades teach stealing to his pets?"

[Damn you! Severus. No, he didn't teach us. It is fun to tease mortals so that's why I was stealing but you came and ruined my fun] Noworry chided.

Severus"...."

Severus mentally made a note to never bother Noworry while he had 'his fun'.

[This isn't the way to the palace. Where are we going?] Noworry asked when he saw the unfamiliar scenery.

"We are going to the palace"

[This isn't the way. Heck it's not even a shortcut Severus]

"Yeah, it's not a shortcut but it is a short shortcut"

[Okay. What is this short shortcut now?]

"Well, it's an underground tunnel which connects this area to the basement of the Crown prince chamber"

Noworry [....]

[Why? Why did you make something like this? If we follow this route then won't the crown prince would be aware?]

Severus laughed but his smile didn't reach his eyes.

[What happened? Why do you look sad?] Noworry asked when he saw the sadness inside his eyes

"Well Didn't I tell you about the underground network of Rivera kingdom?"

[Yes, you never did]

"Actually, there were the majority of the networks that were built and are interconnected. Only the secret army, king, and crown prince are aware of it. When I created this huge network, I built it in a way that there would be three shadow points"

[Shadow points?]

"Those three shadow points are actually an exit. It was an escape route. The three rooms that are shadow points belong to the king, crown prince, and guest room. "

[Why did you create shadow points? Leaving the peoples to fend off by themselves in dire times. Wow-what good morals you all have] Noworry said scornfully.

"No, it wasn't for fleeing. Uff....you misunderstood. Well for understanding this strategy you need to understand the geography of the Rivera kingdom. The Rivera kingdom is established in the valley and has a larger river flowing adjacent to our kingdom. If we get attacked someday then there are only three ways to do it. One is to cross that humongous river that is a bit extreme and the second is to cross the hills and then attack us and this is the most common way and the third is to battle with us through the front. If we logically think then attack from the front is a rare chance and will only happen when there will be a full-fledged war. A full-fledged war won't benefit any kingdom, so they all avoid it however sneaking attacks are different, so we are left with two ways and from that to eliminate the river path since the river is extremely deep and rigorous. Only professional and trained swimmers can cross it. So, the Rivera kingdom mainly guards the passage of hill, since it's the easiest way"

Noworry listened to the complete explanation but he still didn't get the point and with an annoyed voice he spoke [Get to the point, Severus]

"So, my point is that these three shadow points weren't made for fleeing, instead they were made for backup. If someday an enemy attacks us from water then we can just use this path and can corner them then and there, TADA....game finished. It's like attacking them from behind or you can say it's a trap"

[Ohh...nice plan Severus. You have a sharp brain, good, good. But do tell me one thing, are we going to climb the mountains or will walk to the riverbed? It will take us days Severus. Even if it is a shortcut, still walking for days isn't a suitable option]

"Who told you we need to climb a mountain or walk up to Riverbed for Shadow points?"

[You just did. DUH!]

Severus"...."

What is he saying? Didn't he mean it that way? Why does he look so smug?

Several questions jumbled in his mind but in front of Severus, he kept quiet.

Severus understood from Noworry silence that he was right. This dumb bird really thought Shadow point as an exit.

In front of Noworry Severus cleared this throat and again started explaining.

"Shadow point is not an exit but it's away, to be specific it's a path. A path that connects the royal palace to the ends of Rivera kingdom"

Noworry was pleasantly surprised. All this was very meticulously planned by Severus and this all showcased that he was an efficient General.

Sigh Rivera kingdom lost a gem.

Somewhere in the middle of nowhere, there was a huge palace.

Inside a dark room that was magnanimously decorated, a man was sitting on his throne. This was his personal chamber where he spent his leisure time. He was extremely handsome and manly. His wheatish skin was flawless and his sturdy build could be seen in fitted clothes.

He had a face to bring any women on his knees despite their status.

Right now, he was seeing Severus and noworry through a magical screen while leisurely sipping his wine in a golden goblet. "Hmmm....you are far more interesting than I imagined you to be. I guess the days to come won't be as boring as they are now", the man grinned and gulped his wine in one go but in the next instant, he spits it out. The wine spilled from his lips to on his shirt.

It was a scene to be captured. The red blood wine dripped from his lips to on his chest and then soaking his shirt. He was looking damn hot.

"What? When did I train Noworry to steal? He probably learned this skill in the mortal world. We have enough food to feed, why would we let anyone starve much less steal", Hades pouted in annoyance and then got up and clapped his hands three times.

"Come inside"

"A girl who was in her twenties came inside and bowed her head in respect in front of him, "Yes lord?"

"Yeah, go prepare a bath for me, I am drenched from wine"

The girl nodded her head in response but out of curiosity she peeked on the lord and when she saw him her breath got hitched.

"Stop peeking and do as I say", Hades thundered.

The girl gulped in fear and instantly ran away while bowing.
