"She never did anything like this", Severus replied uneasily.

"Welp, you are forgetting the master that I was the one who designed the innate layout for this garden. I can even walk here blindly without damaging any plant", Severus replied smugly.

"This garden which is the most beautiful place in the whole kingdom, to which even the main palace gardens can't compare is actually a secret base aka secret tunnel", Severus explained.

"As you know Rivera kingdom is the weakest among all three kingdoms. Though we have enough supplies to feed us, we still lag in comparison to others. The only reason this kingdom thrived till today was, because of his medical skills which were usually performed by necromancers. But when the current king ordered to exterminate necromancers, various rebellious forces started rising, wanting to dethrone the king"

"Some ancient clans wanted the rulership for themselves and the rest two kingdoms also wanted to merge Rivera. It was a critical time for us so as a general, I ordered everyone to prepare a pseudo base in case of emergency and so....so decided to make the entrance from here."

[So, under this garden is a tunnel which takes us to the main palace?] Bird asked.

"Yeah, it directly joins us to the main palace. Not only this, but half of this Rivera kingdom is also joined below the earth. The underground network we formed is much stronger than any other network. This contributed to us greatly, so yeah it is by far my best contribution to my kingdom", Severus laughed stupidly.

[STUPID, this is the only word that describes you the best. A loner who is extremely foolish] noworry said furiously.

Severus smiled weakly," Not stupid but rather a foolish person"

"Someone who was foolish enough to believe in loyalty"

[Che stops with your sad stories. Now, since you already saw the true colors of them, what are you going to do?]

[Don't tell me that you will play the sweet guy role again wishing them blessings and happiness from far away and living your life in seclusion and sorrow] Noworry mocked him.

The bird flapped his wings in delight [Tell me, tell me what we are going to do?]

[The position of Crown prince is the most cherished as well as the most feared one. You would always be surrounded by assassins and threats, so of course, the king wanted someone to take all these threats]

[And what's better than a person who has the same build as a crown prince. The way you disguise, I am sure if you wanted to imitate the crown prince then even the king wouldn't be able to differentiate] Noworry praised him.

"My honor", Severus happily took all the compliments.

"Princess if you are done remembering our friend then we should leave. I have some important work and it's not safe for you to leave alone. So, shall we?" The Crown Prince asked softly.

It was a simple request, but the only one who managed to catch the real meaning of this conversation were Princess Melanie and Severus.

"Yes, the crown prince is right. We should take our leave. The dead can't come back, so the only thing we can do is to live our lives happily. We can just hope that they don't be sad when they watch us from above", Melanie spoke softly but the impact it created was immense.

Severus' heart pricked severely, whereas the Crown prince's heart was elated.

[OUCH…... Did it hurt?] Noworry asked in amusement.

Severus knew that the old bird was testing him, so he tried his hardest to not show the sadness on his face.

"No, it didn't hurt because my heart has been frozen since I was reincarnated"
