A Fallen Knight-Lost art of Necromancy

Chapter 82: For old time sake!

She detached herself from him and stared at his handsome face. She was afraid that she will forget this handsome face thus she stared at his face with concentration. It was Tishn's voice that brought her back from her dreamland.

"Are you done? Geez, I never thought your standard would go so down to kiss any random man. I am disappointed in you Lil Della"

Tishn scoffed in disdain. This made it evident that he didn't saw Severus as his opponent.

In an instant, her expressions chilled and her eyes became hollow.

She swiftly stood up and faced Tishn.

"I know what you want and I am ready to give you that but only on one condition" Desella spoke flatly.

Tishn rejoiced in his heart. He knew Desella will choose to surrender but he didn't show anything on his face." What is that?"

"I will give you my soul and you can use it as you want. You can either absorb my soul spirit or can defragment my soul. I don't mind it"

"You do know if I do that, Your only chance of rebirth will be gone? No, you will be forgotten in oblivion. Even after knowing this, you want this to happen with you?"

Desella sneered when she heard him."There is no one in the world that hates living. Even if they say death is peace and wants to embrace it, only a handful of them in courageous to actually embrace death. No one in the world wants oblivion. Memories are the proof of your existence and only a few in this world are gutsy enough to surrender to oblivion. I am same as them. I don't fear oblivion or death but what I fear is that, the ones whom I want to remember me, will eventually forget me. It is too painful to watch someone forgetting you. But in this situation do I have a choice? No, I don't."

Tishn heard what Desella said and there was no word he had at that moment to reply back.

"Fate is cruel Lil Della"

Desella sneered again when she saw the fake care in his tone.

"Oh please, don't be sad for me. It is disgusting for me to see you all acting up so fakely. Here is the real deal, Transport Severus to the real world and promise me to never harm him."

Tishn was stunned when he hard her. Although he was prepared for it but when in reality, Desella gave her everything for him, he was stunned. Something flashed in his eyes and a dull pain struck inside his chest. He knew he didn't had a heart so it was useless to say that he was hit with guilt.

"Okay he replied curtly"

"If I found out that you tried harming him, even an inch of his skin. Mark my words, Tishn, the useless son of darkness. I will come out of the oblivion and will hunt you down no matter what and will rip you apart. I will not wait for Hades to punish you but I myself will punish you. Even if, meant disappearing from the existence. Understood, you better be"

Desella threatened him.

Tishn stiffened when he heard her openly cursing and threatening him but he didn't take it to his heart. In reality, he was happy, very happy.

"Okay. I promise that I won't harm Severus"

Desella gave him a death glare.

"Don't give me that glare….Okay, fine I promise that I, Tishn, the useful son darkness will transport Severus to his real-world and will never him. If I do then I agree with Universe for Desella at coming back to mr and hunt me."

"Satisfied with it?" Tishn asked sarcastically.

"I am believing you Tishn"

"For old times sake", Desella murmured.

"For old times sake", Tishn murmured too.

-------------------------------------------------------

Inside Severus sub-conscious

Darkness surrounded him. Severus felt pain in his chest and soon he saw his blood seeping. Slowly and steadily his strength was draining. He was seeing stars in daylight.

He knew he was unconscious and wasn't able to move even an inch. His whole body was paralysed and was in extreme pain. The earlier attack left him in distress. However, he didn't regretted his decision, not even for once. He always believed that Desella was his responsibility and saving her was one of his duties.

"Ughh my head, no my chest, no my hand…..fkkk everything is in so much pain."

"Am I dead? No, no, no I can't be dead. I have so much to do. I don't know either I will be lucky enough to reincarnate another time. I think I used all of my luck to reincarnate once and it will probably be complete death this time."

"Please no, heaven have mercy on me"

Bam!

Boom!

He heard explosions!

He wasn't aware who was attacking who, but since he didn't hear Desella's groan of pain. He sighed in relief.

"Damn this girl!"

"What the hell she think about herself? Is she the super-woman? Why the heck is she even fighting with him?

"Haven't I told her to leave when she had the chance? For god sake, she even knows the way of escape, then why the heck is she not leaving this damn place?"

"Does she think, she will be merited with laurels for kicking that demon? How stupid can she be?"

Severus cursed Desella mercilessly

Soon Severus heard a man crying in pain.

No need to guess it was the voice of Tishn.

Severus felt proud of Desella when Tishn groaned in pain.

"Suits you demon"

As Severus was pitifully praying to heavens and enjoying, the fight between them went intense. He heard what Desella said to Tishn. From her words, it seems like she has regained her memories but Severus was confused when he heard her story because what Desella said was the truth, but it wasn't the clear truth. There were several facts that weren't cleared. Severus concluded from Tishn and Desella's conversation that either Desella in unaware of complete truth or she hasn't regained all of her memories.

"Bleh, I can only confirm this when I talk to Desella but this freaking body won't move"

"AAAAH it hurts. Damit!"

"Wait, what the hell is Desella speaking?

"What does Tishn wants?"

"What is she going to give him?"

"No, no please no. Oh god, please. She can't. Please prove me wrong. Damiit! Dammit. She agreed to give her a soul-spirit. Did she forget how important it was? How the hell she will have a rebirth if she loses her soul spirit?"

"Fk man. She has gone crazy."

"Desella Desella. Do you hear me? You can't give him your soul spirit. Please"

No matter how much Severus tried to shout internally, externally there was no response to it. For Desella and Tishn he was just an unconscious Severus."

"This girl, I seriously want to knock some senses in her. How does her mind even work?"

"No, she doesn't even have a mind, to begin with. She is just a brainless will."

Severus heard what Desella promised and his heart ripped with each sacrifice she made. He felt burdened. He cursed her in his mind several times and cursed himself twice the time he cursed her, for being useless and less powerful.

Tick!

Tak!

Someone approached him.

The footsteps were soft and light and it was very obvious that Desella was approaching him.

"Why? Why is she approaching me? Did she change her mind? Or is she going to sacrifice me? It's not like I mind?" Severus joked with himself but his heart clenched when he thought about this possibility.

He had always been taken cheated and taken advantage by his close ones. In this life, he genuinely wanted to have some close friends who were truthful to him, but it seems that isn't possible.

"Huh, so I am fated to be sacrificed"

"Nevermind"

As Severus prepared himself for his approaching death, Desella clasped his one hand with her and stroked his face with her another hand.

Severus breath hitched and he didn't have any good feeling about it.

And then came her long confession and apologies.....

"Severus was dazed.

He was dazed in his subconsciousness.

It took him a while to register what she meant.

"Is Desella confessing?"

"OOOOOOfs"

"Daym, I think there had been some misunderstandings"

"Oof, Desella stop. Please stop. Don't apologise. It was me who dragged you here not the other way"

"Aye"

Soon her tears wet his shirt. He wanted to comfort Desella and pat her head but he was too low on his energy. His body refused to listen and he just laid there. Paralysed. His heart clenched and he felt suffocated when Desella cried.

The one thing which Severus hated the most was tears of women. He never understood why women loved to cry. In happiness they cry, in sadness, they did the same, even if they were injured or while laughing. It was like a tap was fixed there in place of their eyeball socket. They had so much water stored in their eyes"
