"When you met me for the first time, were you aware about me?"

Jane just smirked. "Of course not. I wasn't strong enough at that time so, I wasn't able to tell, but something was different about you. You carried some sort of energy which was pure, that most of the mortal lack and I was instantly attracted to it. Haven't I told you that when I saw you, my heart started beating normally? I had a cardiac problem but, the old man told me a man would come who will be the key to my happiness. The first time I ay my eyes on you, your energy attracted me later when you started defending against me with your grip, my heart started beating normally. I can't express my happiness that day but you soiled everything."

As she came to this point, she came closer to Severus inside the circle and started caressing his beautiful face with her long and scary fingers. Her fingernails were so long and pointy that it grazed Severus on his cheeks.

Severus flinched but didn't react to her touch.

She saw Severus resisting her touch internally. Anger started bubbling inside her she slapped him hard. 

Severus who was slapped instantly landed on the perimeter of the circle but the circle started flaming again. 

"Fine, to tell you the truth I don't want to play this game anymore. Just let it be over quickly so I can cherish my love with Gye."

"Now, Please you may cooperate Severus or else....."

Jane said with a sweet voice as her voices faded in night. 

Severus kneeled on his one leg as he wiped the blood on his face. 

"Dammit, I can't even use that spear since the cross is with Desella." Severus regretted not taking back the cross but right now everything was futile.

Even complaining about anything was futile too.

Severus saw that Jane who was earlier looking horrible like a corpse was now transformed into a beautiful lady. She now looked like a tall lady with long black hairs that were straight like needles. Her face was white but under the moonlight, she looked pale. There even was a strange talisman on her pale neck which somewhat ruined her appearance. However, the white gown that she was wearing made her look like a ghost. Now only a lantern was missing and she would be sufficed to play the role for a ghost lady in ghost lantern festival.

Severus chuckled. 

This actually wasn't his thought but was Noworry. Inside his unconsciousness, he could hear Nowrry remarks.

Jane saw that Severus was chuckling but she thought that he was laughing in fear."What's so funny darling? Are you willing to submit to me?"

"Submit you say? I always submit to beautiful ladies"

Jane unknowingly blushed under his comments." Oh my, my. Such a sweet tongue"

"Only for beauties darling"

Jane laughed happily when he heard him. "You are too handsome Severus. It's a pity that I need to kill you. If I had never fallen for Gye I am sure I would have fallen for you, and that too hard"

Severus skin crawled inside his body. 

No way he can imagine such a psychopath ghost falling for him.

Jane who was now close to Severus, crouched down to reach his level. She raised her hand and placed it on his heart as she said," I regret but it's a farewell, Severus."

She came more close to him until she was embracing him. She pecked him lightly on his cheeks as she prepared herself to dig his heart out but something unexpected happened. Severus who was sitting quietly and didn't even lift up a limb instantly hugged her with a force. The hug was unexpected to Jane thus her mind lost clarity for several seconds. Severus took the advantage of her condition and instantly rolled on the ground as he successfully crossed the circle and finally came out from the perimeter. 

Jane who was dazed saw what happened and her face turned black.

"All you men are just pathetic creature. You only take advantage of girls felling and then left them heartbroken. SEVERUS, I will kill you" She said through gritted teeth as she punched Severus mercilessly.

Severus who was punched flew back and clashed with a tree. He stood up while holding the tree. "It was not them Jane but you. Gye never loved you nor he ever gave you any false hopes. It was you and your wild delusions that took three lives. Have you never regretted killing your best friend Shenna? Have you never felt guilty for eyeing something that wasn't yours? There is a difference between getting cheated on and getting fooled on."

"I was cheated on Severus. I was cheated on by my own best friend. I told her that I loved Gye but that damn wrench still set her eyes on him and stole Gye love from me. It was she who came in between us"

Severus expressions turned dim as he pitied her.

With a low voice, he continued," Answer me Jane"

"Have Gye ever said that he loves you?"

Jane who was on the edge of going berserk shouted." No, but I know he loves me, only me. He was just infatuated with the appearance of that wench. Just take a look at me. In which perspective I am low than her. Just because I was blind. Og please, It's just minor myopia and that bitch made hill out of mole"

It was evident how much Jane despised Shenna from her speech.

Severus didn't deny her words but his silence said otherwise.

"Jane, did Shenna ever confessed to Gye?"

Jane caught up off guard with his question.

"Why do you think she never confessed?"

Jane who didn't have answers for Severus questions stood there speechless. When she wasn't able to come up with answers she ran towards Severus and gripped him tightly using the tree as support to kill him. "Enough talking Severus. I am losing my patience now"

Severus who was in death grip quickly turned and changed their position. This time it was Jane whose hands were gripped by Severus. He quickly collected both of her hands in his one hand and locked them in a grip as he used his other hand for support from the tree. Severus pushed Jane backwards using his weight. 

It was a rather awkward potion but Severus was not in the correct state of mind to care about anything. Secondly, Jane was technically a ghost, not a real woman. She only looked like one.

"Enough running Jane. In your entire life, what else have you done instead of collecting the hatred?"

"Answer me?"

Jane tried resiting but it was in vain. She was shocked by the grip of Severus. A few minutes ago it looked like he was going to collapse but now, here he was, strong like a bull.

"What is this behaviour, Severus?"

"Same What is this behaviour, Jane? Why are you killing your soul? The path in which you are treading on will only be leading you to your doom"

Jane snickered. " Why do you care?"

Severus smirked when he heard her. "Why do I care?"

HAHAHAHAHA

"To be honest I really don't care but I do have some doubts that only you can answer them."

"Huh. Why are so confident that I will answer you?"

Severus just leaned on her as he whispered, "Because I will be giving you eternal peace."

"...."

"You going to kill me?"

"You have any doubt about it?"

"....."

Jane didn't doubted Severus. Not even a bit.

"So my dear Jane. Let's discuss and get things straight. First off all answer me, Have Shenna ever confessed her love to Gye?"

"Have she ever denied helping you even after knowing that you love the same person whom she loves?"

"Did she ever got jealous? Maybe she would have but she never got cynical. Am I right?"

Jane started resisting but to no avail. Severus grip was too tight.

"Stop talking in favour of her. She is a bitch. Humans are scum. All the feelings and love are useless and become just talks when they are applied in reality. Just look at yourself. You are no better than me. "

Severus calmly listened to what Jane said

"Jane humans are cruel I agree but it's a person own responsibility to protect himself from danger. Whatever happened to me, I never blamed Maverick or Melanie for it. They were cruel, disgusting and cheater but guess what? You know who is the defaulter here?"

Severus shook his head, "It's me. My blind trust was the reason I was assassinated. My naivety led me to my doom. Just like your jealousy."

"You heart turned evil and you did something unspeakable. I am amazed that your heart doesn't feel guilty and your hands never shake while using knives after committing the act. Were you always heartless or your emotions made your humanity completely disappeared? Nevermind, it's not my place to lecture about it but a person should have self-realisation. "
