Chapter 57: Rolling around

As soon as he saw the front door of his house, Liu Jidao couldn't walk even half a step.

God knows how far the mountain road is, and he still has to carry so much wheat back. There are almost no people along the way.

On the way back, he had already scolded himself hundreds of times.

Liu San, Liu San, why didn’t you sell these two acres of land together in the first place? Now you are really hurting yourself.

As soon as he was exhausted, he fell to the ground together with the burden on his shoulders. He lay on the wheat straw, panting and rolling his eyes, not knowing what night it was.

Qin Yao clicked her tongue twice, and because she knew how tiring it was to work in the fields, she gave Liu Ji a rare sympathetic look.

The four children gathered around him worriedly, carrying water, wiping sweat, and offering condolences.

When Liu Ji heard her question, his eyes became brighter and he said feebly:

Qin Yao touched it with her hands and found that she was definitely constipated.

Liu Ji felt that these words sounded familiar. It seemed that someone had asked such a question before.

He reached out excitedly to grab her hand, but she dodged it sideways. He retracted his hand and grinned his white teeth and said happily: "Madam, I knew you were kinder than a Bodhisattva!"

I felt energetic immediately, so I went to the kitchen, poured all the hot water from the pot into a wooden bucket, and carried it to the shower room to take a bath.

It was okay when the weather was cold, but now that the temperature has risen, the smell on my body is like, tsk tsk tsk, if I don’t wash it, it will get pickled.

Qin Yao sat at the door of the hall with a dry handkerchief and wiped her hair, "How much wheat is left that has not been harvested?"

She went to the shower room and took a hot bath, then scooped two buckets of hot water and put them in it, and asked the four elder men to go in to wipe themselves and wash their heads.

 She added this sentence.

Looking up at the basket of wild vegetables hanging on the kitchen beam, Qin Yao planned to fry them at noon tomorrow to see how they tasted.

Qin Yao had to admit that she felt a little bit pitiful.

The five fathers and sons have no objection, as long as they can eat enough, not to mention the porridge made from fine rice is a hundred times better than coarse rice.

Qin Yao was also stunned. It took her five seconds to react and kicked the maggot up from the ground.

Seeing the lights in the children's room go out, Qin Yao turned around and raised her eyes to see Liu Ji wearing a thin white undershirt, with black hair like a waterfall, walking out of the shower room with long legs.

His chatter usually makes Qin Yao very annoying.

But he still shouted coldly: "Go quickly!"

He then told Dalang, "Tomorrow morning I will cook an extra pot of porridge and put it on the stove. You can eat breakfast and lunch by yourselves and practice your calligraphy at home."

"Why are you so crazy? It's just about harvesting wheat, isn't it?" Qin Yao raised her eyebrows and shouted.

Who is it? Can't remember.

No one else is treated like this. Have you ever seen someone who came back from fighting wheat in the fields to be so squeamish?

Everyone puts down one load and then turns around to pick up the next load.

Liu Ji huddled against the doorframe, his head hung down, shoulders slumped, his peach blossom eyes glowing red, his lips biting his sleeves, and he responded weakly, "As for."

After Liu Jicong drank the medicine, he lay down on the chair in the main room, looking like he was in a state of wandering.

Why did God give this scoundrel such a peerless appearance?

“Liu Ji, which immortal did your predecessor save?” Qin Yao gritted her teeth and asked in confusion.

His voice became quieter and quieter for a moment. He didn't know when he appeared behind Qin Yao and carefully grabbed a piece of her clothes. "Madam, please spare me. If you keep doing this, I will die in the ground tomorrow." !”

Liu Ji was stunned as she watched the wheat straw that was about to crush her being lifted up with one hand. She really wanted to ask her, in this case, why bother to torture herself.

Liu Ji suddenly lay down on the ground, explaining what it means to be shameless and invincible.

 Chin Yao: "."

Liu Ji glanced at the unappetizing white porridge and asked weakly: "Madam, can you allow me to add some sugar?"

“Tomorrow you will be responsible for cutting, and I will be responsible for picking. I will try to get the remaining wheat back in one day.”

The four Dalang brothers and sisters had just come out of the bathroom after taking a bath when they saw their biological father rolling around on the floor of the main room, three circles on the left and three on the right, showing off his rogue look to the fullest.

The four children immediately followed their father, and each of them added half a spoonful of sugar, so that the white porridge tasted sweet and delicious.

Leaving behind a sentence of "get up early tomorrow", Qin Yao turned around and went back to the house to sleep.

She was finally convinced. When she saw that the four elder men had come out, she pointed at the bathroom and urged her with disgust:

“Go take a shower, it stinks!”

Qin Yao nodded for the sake of the two sheaves of wheat in the courtyard.

Liu Ji only moved a little bit, holding the door frame with both hands, looking like all the bones in his body were falling apart, with tears in his peach blossom eyes.

“I’ve been drinking porridge these days to help digestion.” Qin Yao agreed.

Liu Ji's dim eyes lit up instantly.

Qin Yao was too lazy to cook and didn’t know how to cook, so she cooked a pot of porridge.

Qin Yao was startled by him, frowned and took out the corner of her clothes, "I haven't died today, and I will definitely not die tomorrow." Liu Ji began to cry miserably, and lifted up his sleeves and trouser legs, "Madam, you feel sorry for me. Well, look at where there is a good piece of meat on my body. They are all called wheatgrass thorns, and there are poisonous mosquitoes that bite me so hard that I feel dizzy. Now that I think about going there tomorrow, I would rather be beaten to death by you. never mind."

Qin Yao helped Sanlang and Siniang dry their hair. Seeing that the moon had risen, she patted their butts and said, "Go back to the house and sleep."

I haven't eaten enough vegetables, and I haven't been able to sleep comfortably in the latrine these days.

Qin Yao patted the little boy on the shoulder happily. The elder man looked at her sheepishly and led his younger brother and sister back to the house to sleep.

Qin Yao feels that the four children at home are quite easy to take care of. They are not picky eaters at all. They eat whatever they are given and never complain. They can also help pick wild vegetables.

He looked over blankly, his peach-blossom eyes looking as affectionate as a dog. If Qin Yao hadn't seen him rolling all over the ground, she would have been stunned.

Siniang hummed for a long time this morning before she came back with tears in her eyes and said, "My tummy is bloated."

After finishing the porridge in the evening, Qin Yao cooked the medicine. Each of the six people in the family had a small bowl.

"Then just beat me to death, and you won't have to suffer the pain if you die!"

Qin Yao smiled disdainfully: "Ha!"

Qin Yao stepped forward, lifted him off the wheat straw, took the burden, and carried the two large bundles of wheat straw into the yard.

Dalang knew that the master was going to the fields tomorrow, so he responded sensibly: "Auntie, don't worry, I will take good care of Erlang and the others and won't let them run around."

  It just makes people stunned.

However, I didn’t dare to ask. I could only crawl into the yard and shout: “I’m hungry, I need food!”

It suddenly became quiet today, and the house was still strangely deserted.

“One acre has been cut today, and another acre will be cut tomorrow, and it will take another two days to pick it back.”

Qin Yao was worried and immediately gave Dalang twenty coppers and asked him to go to Dr. Liu's house to get some convenient medicine.

Qin Yao's pupils trembled, and a wave of anger emerged in her heart.

This matter can be big or small, and most people in the village don't care about it. Even if a child will die because of it, they don't care at all because of the frequency of going to the fields.

He poured the remaining sewage into the drain and placed the bucket at the door of the bathroom. When he looked up, the moonlight just fell on that handsome and passionate face.

This whole winter, for fear of catching a cold, the whole family didn't take a shower or wash their hair. Only she couldn't bear it, so she washed her hair twice.

Liu Ji felt much more comfortable when he thought that he would not suffer alone tomorrow. The corners of his mouth curled up after he fell asleep.
