The fighting continued until Huggins arrived with the escort, and was forcibly terminated. According to incomplete statistics, about 120 people participated in this conflict. Four people died (a craftsman, an apprentice, and two merchant guards), 7 people were seriously injured and disabled, and countless people were slightly injured.

Afterwards, Todd personally presided over the public trial meeting in the square in front of the church.
