Alien Knights

At the base of the Supuha Mountains, Sutherland's habitat, there are still forty-five minutes until the beacon tower rises.

Holding the gryphon, Evie carefully walked on the thousand-meter-high rock wall. In the abyss under her feet, the red and dazzling magma was rolling continuously, and the heat wave was overwhelming.

Evie asked Rachel in front: "How far is it?"

Rachel: "Go through the cave in front and we'll be there soon."

Evie turned around and glanced behind her. A winding team was following her, with no end in sight.

Valkyrie, Xenomorph, and several members of the Elder Council who were responsible for leading them.

Evie turned back, holding the griffin's reins with one hand and holding the sword at her waist with the other, staring at Rachel in front of her, frowning.

As if feeling the sight from behind, Rachel turned back and smiled at Evie, and said softly: "Soon you will know that I am on your side."

Evie didn't say anything, and she tightened her grip on the sword hilt.

The group walked forward for another ten minutes, passing through the cave, and finally came to a wide and vast natural cave.

Iliad sighed, stood up and moved out of the way, revealing behind him a cave that could only be passed by one person bending down.

Seeing Rachel ducking into the cave, Evie turned back to the other Valkyries and said, "You stay here and ensure the escape route."

After saying that, Evie handed her gryphon to the other Valkyries, and Dwarf followed her into the cave.

Inside the cave, there is a winding path that slopes downward.

Some passages are so narrow that you have to use your hands and feet to pass.

As the trail went further down, the temperature in the air became higher and higher. Heat waves visible to the naked eye slowly seeped in along the cracks in the rocks, blurring the vision ahead.

Finally, Rachel and Evie reached the end of the trail and entered a small island that was almost floating above the magma.

The stones on the ground have softened and turned red due to the high temperature, and it even feels like stepping on soft cushions when you step on them.

Using the light of the magma fire rising all around, Ivie looked toward the center of the magma island. A huge figure looked so familiar and conspicuous.

A giant dragon with a faint metallic luster lay in the middle of the island, showing no signs of movement.

Evie took a quick step, shook off Rachel, and rushed in front of the dragon. Only then did she realize that there was a woman standing next to the dragon.

The woman's whole body was wrapped in crow wings, her face was tightly covered by a crow mask, and she held a red spear in her hand. She stared at the two people coming over, as if she was on guard against something.

Rachel walked between the two people who were wary of each other and said to the Crowfeather woman: "Meredith, we meet again."

Meredith raised the spear, pointed it at Rachel's face, and said coldly: "You know all this, right?"

Rachel shrugged and acquiesced to the other party's accusation.

Ignoring others, Evie rushed to the dragon, half-knelt down, touched the latter's dragon scales, and asked eagerly: "There is no response, what happened to Todd?!"

Meredith looked at Evie and said, "His soul was extracted by Sutherland and brought into the latter's soul space."

Rachel: "Sutherland won't hurt Todd, he needs Todd."

Evie held Todd's dragon head and asked Rachel loudly: "Where can I find that bastard sage! Tell me!"

Rachel looked at the magma sea at the edge of the island and said softly: "We don't have to look for him, he will appear soon."

As soon as he finished speaking, a huge vibration suddenly came from below the island.

The magma that was originally flowing quietly turned into huge bubbles like boiling water.

Flames, smoke, and dust enveloped the entire island.

The entire island kept shaking up and down, and everything on the ground was thrown into the air and hit hard again.

Evie grabbed Todd's dragon scale tightly and asked the other two loudly: "What happened?"

A huge tower emitting dazzling light slowly rose from the magma and continued to rise toward the top of the volcano.

Hundreds of eyes opened above the monster's head, all staring at Rachel's face.

A voice as thick as thunder echoed over the entire island.

"The ceremony will begin soon."

Rachel shouted again: "Let me see him!"

Evie picked up the weapon, ran to Rachel's side, and yelled at Sutherland: "Release the soul of my lord! You ugly freak!"

Meredith waved her wings and came to the edge of the island. She said to Sutherland: "After all these years, you have never failed in your ability to deceive, hijack, or conspire. My father..."

Sutherland bent down and looked down at the three women in front of him.

Suddenly, he waved his limbs.

The next second, the three women closed their eyes at the same time, lost consciousness, and fell to the ground.
