American Drama World Exorcism

Chapter 170: Crossroad Demon

The waiting time is the most uncomfortable.

Benny needs to leave enough space for his communications with John to look the same as usual, and to check if they are being monitored.

When he was a security consultant at the CIA, Benny had heard that they had a project...

"Does the FBI have a safe house here?"

Tang shook his head. "I don't know. I only know the safe house near Washington. It's not clear here."

"Where is your brother? Are you okay now?"

"Very good. He worked as a professor at the university and made two friends. Alan and I are very relieved."

"How about you, are you married?"

When it comes to marriage, Tang's mood is a little low, and he is silent for a moment before answering

"It's over, my child will be born in a few months."

Benny glanced at Tang and saw the worry between his expressions.

Tang is a very attractive person to women, and Benny knew this when training them.

Tang will take every woman he associates seriously and do his best to show his gentlemanly demeanor, but after a while, he will separate from them and "treat" another group of women seriously.

Judging from the current Benny's eyes, he didn't know whether Tang's behavior was carefree or dedicated.

He never stepped on two boats, and he would always make it clear that after completely cutting off contact with the previous one, he would look for the next one.

But he has never been with a woman for more than half a year.

"Congratulations. You are going to be a father."

"Thank you. This makes me a little bit at a loss. Many times when I think of a little guy about to usher in, I'm both nervous and looking forward to it."

Speaking of the child who was about to be born, Tang became softer and said with a smile.

Benny nodded and glanced at the clock.

"It seems they haven't noticed yet."

With that said, he took the call from Tang and called John again.

"John."

Benny yelled, waiting for John's decision.

There was silence on the phone, only a slight sizzling voice rang occasionally.

"Prepare an iron box."

After a long time, John's low voice came from over the phone.

Benny beckoned to Tang, and Tang knowingly took out his notebook and began to record.

"Crow corpse, kraft paper, charcoal, and your blood. I know a little demon who has recently become a demon at the crossroads. Maybe he doesn't have much experience yet. It will be easier for you to deal with."

"Ben, I must remember to clarify the content of the transaction when dealing with the Devil at Crossroads."

"Also, don't trade with your soul."

Benny responded one by one, and after thanking John, he hung up the phone amidst John's uneasy repeated instructions.

"I'll go shopping."

Tang put away his notebook and stood up and said.

"and many more."

"I will go with you,"

Benny dressed and said

"This place is not safe, we need to find a safe place."

...

Night fell.

After a lot of hard work and finally collected the materials one by one, Benny led Tang towards the east and finally stopped on the highway.

This is a flat area, surrounded by small hills, with a wide view, and no one inhabited.

Benny scratched his finger lightly with a knife, and the viscous blood dripped on the iron plate.

Pick up the charcoal pen, dip the blood on the iron plate and write the demon's full name on the kraft paper, fold it and put it in the iron box.

Put the prepared body of the crow into the iron box and close the lid. Buried the tin box underground at the intersection.

"This is over?"

Tang held the gun, looked around, and asked suspiciously.

"Yeah." Benny said, standing not far from the intersection, looking at the intersection, "according to their method, this should be fine."

"But, where is the devil?"

Tang looked around suspiciously. There was nothing around them except the occasional cold wind.

Benny glanced at Don, walked to the place where the tin box was buried, and muttered a spell in a low voice as John taught.

As the obscure syllables spit out from Benny's mouth, a breeze began to roll up at the intersection.

The wind was getting stronger and stronger, and soon it swept over the gravel on the ground, covering Benny's figure.

When the last syllable was spit out, Benny stopped chanting the mantra, and the surrounding wind suddenly disappeared without a trace.

The gravel that was swept in the air by the wind fell sternly, forming a circle outside the intersection. Immediately afterwards, the ground at the buried tin box began to vibrate.

A short, slightly bald man in a black suit appeared on the spot.

Tang approached Benny and looked at this, uh, demon curiously.

"What's the matter with summoning the great king of hell, Crowley, mortal!"

The demon Crowley growled in a loud voice with a sullen face.

Crowley's words were very powerful, especially when combined with the erratic wind around him, the strange and mysterious atmosphere immediately emerged.

Tang, who was hiding behind Benny, became nervous.

"Isn’t the king of **** called Asather?" Benny asked strangely. As you know, the demon at the crossroads is the lowest demon, right?"

Crowley was choked by Benny's words and didn't react for a long time.

"Don't be afraid, Tang, he is the lowest demon at the crossroads, like a pimp in the red light district."

"You are the pimp!!"

Crowley yelled suddenly, like a cat stepped on its tail.

"Look, isn't it good to speak well, why do you have to pretend to be Arthur."

Benny shrugged, ignoring Crowley's rage.

"By the way, did Yasather's injury the last time heal?"

The irritability on Crowley's face immediately calmed down. He looked around vigilantly, seeing that only Benny and Tang were the only two people who did not hide anyone else, so he was slightly relieved. He asked carefully

"Do you know the King of Hell?"

Benny nodded, "Well, it's a acquaintance. About a year ago, he helped a witch **** a human soul. We met."

Crowley's expression changed back and forth, raised his head to look carefully at Benny, then turned his head and ran.

"stop!"

"Hey! Don't run away!"

"I think you are quite satisfied with this body. If you run again, I will chop up your body and feed it to the dog!"

Crowley's running pace stopped abruptly.

The devil at the crossroads is simply pimping the hell, and its status is so low that any **** demon can dominate their life and death.

Good things like the human body are supposed to be out of their turn anyway.

Many crossroads demons have never tasted what it's like to occupy a human body from becoming a demon to being wiped out.

Crowley managed to get such a body. Although this body was short and poor, with a round belly and a short stature, and most importantly, it was bald, but anyway, it was a human body.

Without this human body, I don't know how long it will take to get the next one. In other words, I don’t know if there is still a chance.

This is almost all of Crowley's belongings, and he has paid too much for this body. He didn't want to go back to before liberation overnight.

"My lord, what's your order?"

Crowley turned around politely, with one hand behind and the other on his chest, bowed slightly, and asked with a smile on his face.
