Battle of the Third Reich

Vol 3 Chapter 7: Colleagues (Part 1)

As soon as the office door was opened, Xu Jun was shaken by the sight in front of him.

Jack is a collector, Xu Jun knows. He likes to make the office gorgeous and beautiful, Xu Jun also knows. Xu Jun has also seen this luxurious office in his memory. But when he really stood in this office, Xu Jun found that it was more luxurious and more shocking than it was in memory.

I saw that although this office was as big as Hitler's, it was renovated like a royal palace. To put it more clearly, it was the storage room in the royal palace.

A full set of Louis XIV period ivory office furniture, each corner is inlaid with exquisite gilt bronze lace. The pure white wool rug is embroidered with purple roses. All four walls are covered with gorgeous bronzing wallpaper. A large crystal chandelier with a diameter of one meter is hung from the top. There are several beautiful oil paintings hanging on the wall on the left, all of which are portraits of Raphael, you can see the authenticity at a glance. Even in 1940, it was a valuable treasure.

Against the wall are three armor pieces that have been shone and shined. The silver-plated surface has no flaws and scars, and the craftsmanship has reached the point of perfection. Judging from the shape of the helmet and the gold coat of arms inlaid on the breastplate, it should belong to the collection of the Polish royal family. On the wall next to the armor is a row of medieval weapons, all of which are inlaid with gold and silver. Xu Jun couldn't figure out how such a military-minded guy would remember to collect armor and weapons. There are also several marble statues in the corner, which should be works of the Roman era. I don’t know how much effort the German soldiers took to get them in.

Other exquisite porcelain and handicrafts are placed everywhere. Among these things, Xu Jun even recognized that there were a few pieces of official kiln porcelain from China.

"National treasure! All national treasures!"

Seeing so many cultural relics, Xu Jun almost fainted in excitement. He looked at this for a while, and then touched it again, completely immersed in these exquisite cultural relics and crafts, forgot the time, forgot everything.

Just as Xu Jun was carefully identifying the origin of a blue and white sea bowl, the knock on the door rang.

"Come in."

Xu Jun reluctantly put down the bowl. Then Ruhr opened the door and walked in. He told Xu Jun

"My deputy head of state, the head of state asked me to invite you to a restaurant."

"Okay, here we go."

Xu Jun put on the military hat on the table and led to the restaurant under the leadership of Ruhr.

The banquet in the restaurant is already on. Hitler sat at the end of a long dining table covered with snow-white tablecloths, and the generals and Nazi officials sat on either side, where they were talking and laughing loudly.

Beautiful flowers and shiny silver tableware were placed on the table. The freshly baked bread exuded a tantalizing aroma in the bread basket, and fresh butter sparkled in the small silver plate.

Xu Jun walked into the restaurant, and everyone stood up under Hitler's leadership, and then began to applaud enthusiastically. Xu Jun hurried to the table and saluted Hitler. Then I expressed my heartfelt thanks to my colleagues for receiving such a warm welcome. Hitler had left him the seat closest to him. Everyone sat down under the greeting of Hitler.

After everyone was seated, Hitler glanced at the subordinates on both sides with sharp eyes, stood up, and began to speak. He first expressed gratification and welcome to Xu Jun’s return, and then he began to talk about how important and great Xu Jun’s victory was, and how hard Xu Jun’s battle was, and how he wanted it. Touted Xu Jun's military abilities, and his perseverance.

I could have asked the chef to start serving food as soon as he finished speaking, but no one expected that his speech was about to end, but the topic of his abruptness turned to those old Europe. Strategy, the revival of Germany, places like racial pros and cons have passed. The brief welcome speech was turned into a long speech. The poor imperial elites had to go hungry and continue to receive this horrific fatigue bombing.

Xu Jun began to look at the other people present when Hitler started his speech. After reading it, he took a breath in his heart. The senior leaders of the Third Reich really were half here.

The Ruhr in the front told him on his way to the restaurant that Hitler had specially recruited the backbone of the Nazi party from Berlin in the name of the regular Nazi party meeting last night. It seemed that Hitler had spared no effort to create some momentum for his army idol plan.

The first thing Xu Jun saw was Goring, who was sitting opposite him. Goring did not gain much weight in 1940, and now it can only be said to be burly, but it has obviously started to develop in that direction. Goring wore a white air marshal dress, without any medals on his chest, only a pilot badge embroidered with gold thread, and on his neckline he wore the Blue Marcos medal he received on June 2, 1918, It was a beautiful cross-shaped medal, which was awarded to him in recognition of his outstanding military achievements at one stop. He always carried it. And his beautiful red marshal scepter was placed on the table on his right. When Goring saw Xu Jun looking at him, he immediately turned his face elsewhere, without looking at Xu Jun.

Xu Jun knew that Jack had a good relationship with Goering before, but after Hitler came to power, the two talents began to antagonize because of the competition in various budget resources and wealth, and because of the unpleasant things that happened at several regular meetings, the two have now arrived The point of incompatibility.

Sitting next to Goring was Goebbels, Minister of National Education and Propaganda of the Third Reich, a shrewd and capable guy, Hitler’s most powerful tongue, and half of all the propaganda manuscripts of the Third Reich were from his handwriting. He was a fanatical admirer of Hitler, and it took ten years for an editor of a Nazi tabloid to climb to his present position by touting Hitler's fanaticism. But Hitler valued him probably because he was one of the only two strongmen in the All-Nazi Party who could listen to his eloquent speech for a few days without being sleepy.

The skinny doctor of literature sat next to the burly Goring, and the two formed a stark contrast, like a funny pair. Goebbels wore a gray suit and a thin black tie. When Goebbels found Xu Jun looking at him, he smiled and nodded to Xu Jun. Because of Jack's position and status, Goebbels has maintained close contact with him. The personal relationship between the two is good. Jack even went to his house to be a guest and had a few light meals.

Sitting next to our thin propaganda minister was the other of the two strong men mentioned earlier. Heinrich, the infamous national leader of the SS. Himmler.

Now the guy with the honorary title of the **** butcher of World War II Germany's biggest executioner murderer and so on, is listening to Hitler's speech with relish, and he is so focused that he didn't blink, let Xu Jun admire the five bodies.

Heinrich at the time. Himmler’s loyalty to Hitler can be said to be unparalleled, and he enthusiastically loved the head of state, even to the point of being morbid. All Hitler's words were used by him as a truth to come to Mobike, and anyone who slander or wanted to oppose Hitler will be ruthlessly eliminated by him. Hitler once said Heinrich. Himmler is the person he trusts the most, because if Hitler wants him to kill his grandmother, or to kill all the men in the country, or all the people with “a” or “d” in their names, Greek Mulai will definitely ask without asking, and he will do so without hesitation.

The captain of this chicken farmer, wearing his black SS uniform, wearing the same hairstyle as Hitler, wearing a pair of fine silver-rimmed glasses, he motionlessly watched his spitting emotion. The slobbered head, the light of excitement flashed in his eyes. It seems that Xu Jun will not pay attention even if he stands directly in front of him.

But his relationship with Jack is more intimate than Jack's relationship with Goebbels. One is because Jack’s status as deputy head of state is also an idol he worships. The second is for the two people to have a common enemy, Goering. Goering has always looked down on this chicken-grown Himmler, which made Himmler always have a grudge against him. The third is because both people are the same cold and ruthless, especially when it comes to treating Jews.

It is because of the above three, that both of them regard each other as their confidant, and they have to cut their heads and burn yellow paper to become brothers.
