107 Forced Transformation

A female walked into view. Lee Seng noticed tentacles attached to her right arm. They slithered and moved sporadically as she walked into the middle of the road, cracking at the road as she dragged them forward. She turned to face Lee Seng and smiled with rotten teeth. Tentacles curled upwards from her back as she readied herself.

"Oh, how I wished and wished for someone to come into my lair. My patience has finally paid off! I can leave this wretched prison and feast!" She cackled. She cracked the tentacles onto the ground before she threw the tentacles at Lee Seng. The tentacles extended and flew straight for Lee Seng.

The metal resonance sang as Lee Seng slashed and blocked the tentacles. The tentacle lady pulled back and screeched as she ran forwards. The tentacles instantly healed and as she bent downwards. Tentacles from her back twirled together, creating three tentacles. Lee Seng began to run as the three large tentacles flew at him. The first one slammed down on the ground behind him as he sprinted forward. The second one flew and slammed in front of him, forcing him to jump over it. The second tentacle flicked itself sending Lee Seng into the air as the third tentacle collided with him.

The third tentacle forced him into the ground. It began to split into smaller tentacles, writhing and grabbing a hold onto Lee Seng. The tentacle retracted and Lee Seng jerked forwards towards the tendril woman.

"They dare keep me here?!?" She shouted. "I will kill anyone who gets in my way!" The tentacles released and the woman's right arm quickly twisted into a drill and slammed into Lee Seng. Lee Seng could feel the tentacles twisting and piercing into Lee Seng. Blood began to spill from Lee Seng's side as the drill of tentacles plowed into him. The woman's drill punch sent Lee Seng backwards.

[NOTICE: EXPERIMENT ELEVEN HAS SUSTAINED HEAVY INJURIES]

Lee Seng hit road behind him, skirting and bouncing backwards. The tendril woman sprinted forwards, whipping her right arm backwards before releasing the tentacles at Lee Seng. Lee Seng bounced and forced himself to land on his feet. The blood splattered onto the ground and dripped down his leg as he dug his sword into the pavement. The infused blade cut through the road like butter, slowing him to a stop.

"Fuck. Not now." He hissed. "Cloak. Now." The gold and white aura shot out of his body and wrapped around him. He could feel his injury closing and tightened his jaw to ignore the pain.

The Protocol within Lee Seng instantly healed his injuries and Lee Seng's breathing lightened. He pulled his katana out with his left hand and blocked with the sheathe with the other.

Lee Seng slashed the tentacles with one blow and immediately sprinted forward towards the tendril woman. He slammed the sheathe into the side of her body and listened to the squish of her body. He spun and landed a kick into her chest and watched her fly backwards.

[PROTOCOL ELEVEN HAS SPIKED TO 99%!]

'Dammit.'

A huge black energy shot out of Lee Seng. It began to swirl around Lee Seng and quickly closed in on Lee Seng. The gold energy shot outwards and pushed against the black energy. The two energies began to fight and Lee Seng felt the Protocol breaking out of whatever hold it was in.

[PROTOCOL ELEVEN HAS ACTIVATED. TRANSFORMATION WILL BEGIN.]

The black and gold energy pushed against each other until the black energy forcefully collapsed into Lee Seng.

[FOREIGN ENTITY HAS GROWN.]

Lee Seng felt he had control of his body but he was wrapped in the black energy. His gold and white energy whipped around him and he watched as the black energy began to seep into his aura.

'You've gotten enough soul requirements.' Keng spoke. 'Do something before you slip back into that form!' Before Lee Seng could even reply, the black energy forced its way into Lee Seng. Lee Seng's White and gold streaked tail wrapped with black tendrils. Lee Seng felt the dark protocol energy cover his entire body. His grip on his katana loosened and he dropped the katana. He felt weird. He felt like he was in some sort of suit. The black energy writhed around him.

[FOREIGN ENTITY HAS BLOCKED EXPERIMENT ELEVEN FROM LOSING CONCIOUSNESS. PROTOCOL SHALL INITIATE BACKUP PROTOCOL.]

Lee Seng felt the forced anger seep out of him. He watched as the tendril woman stood up and screamed. Lee Seng felt his body jerk forward. He cleared the distance within a second and plunged his hand into the woman's chest.

"Argh!" The tendril woman spat out. Blood shot out of her mouth and Lee Seng watched has his hand grabbed onto her heart organ and pulled it out. Blood and puss gushed out and the woman stumbled backwards. The heart didn't beat and Lee Seng instantly crushed it. His tendril-covered tail flew forwards and latched itself onto her head. The tendril woman cried in pain, trying to rip the tail away from her.

"You bastard! Get off me!" She screamed.

[FAILURE. FAILURE. FAILURE.]

[FORCED TRANSFORMATION FAILED!]

Lee Seng felt the protocol energy let up and in an instant he pulled the woman towards him and plunged his hand into her head. The protocol energy felt familiar yet foreign to him. He watched as the woman's face went slack as he plunged his hand straight through her head. Rotten blood and puss oozed out of his arm. He pushed the woman away with his tendril-covered tail and flicked the blood off.

The protocol energy faded and Lee Seng felt his energy slip. He fell to his hands and knees and watched as the black energy begin to slip back into his abdomen. The burst of energy he had suddenly disappeared and he fell onto the ground. His breathing grew loud.

"Did I... just use all of my... Dark... Matter?" Lee Seng huffed. His body grew instantly tired as his vision turned towards the left. He spotted a camera and tried to pull himself up. "They can... see me..."

----

Victor, Noah and Vickie were all staring at multiple screens in front of them. Vickie had her eyes following a First Year who was struggling to get away from a horde of zombies. Victor casually perused but saw nothing. He was following Lee Seng in the beginning but he suddenly disappeared after the muscular zombie had activated its detonation-rebirth sequence.

Noah happily chomped away at the snacks behind him, not even watching any particular screen.

"He's there!" Victor pointed. Noah and Vickie looked towards what Victor was pointing at. Lee Seng had made his way into the car blocked area and was fighting the tendril lady. They watched as the scene quickly unfolded into something bizarre.

"What the hell is happening to him?" Vickie pushed her glasses up. They watched as black energy wrapped around Lee Seng and the transformed Lee Seng quickly disappeared off the cameras. The next thing they knew, the tendril woman was dead and Lee Seng was on the floor. "What the hell happened?!?"

The door behind the busted open and the three Fourth Years turned to see Scarlet walking in. The three turned to stand and saluted her. She waved her hand and the three watched as Scarlet moved to join them.

"Anything interesting happen? Any interesting transfer students?" Scarlet asked. Victor enlarged Lee Seng's screen and ran Scarlet the video of him.

"He was in the middle of a fight with a Rebirth Zombie and then immediately disappeared." Victor played the video and they all watched as Lee Seng disappeared. "He disappeared for hours. The Rebirth Zombie's detonation sequence couldn't find him. It stayed in that for hours. Lee Seng popped up here hours later with a weapon that wasn't there before."

The video cut to Lee Seng pushing the skyscraper door open and looking around. The video cut to him studying the zombie and Vickie paused it.

"Why did he study a Jumper?" Vickie asked. Scarlet didn't shrug and didn't react. She knew exactly what Lee Seng was doing.

"He's trying to assess the situation of the other student that was there. Lee Seng's a smart kid and likes to study monsters on his off time. He probably found out when he got onto the roof that the Ruined City was infested with Undead, specifically zombies, so he's comparing what he knows with what he saw. See?" Scarlet pointed. Lee Seng threw the leg and the nano camera on him showed the result.

"How did he even notice any of those clues?" Vickie asked. Scarlet paused and tapped away on the keyboard. Many different screenshots of the different things Lee Seng saw that gave him his answer, showed up.

"The blood and puss was a big indication. It trails until this certain point and shows up in these different spots. The metal indentation on that pole made him theorize if the zombie could cause that. He found the dried blood and puss on the pole and played the scenario of what happened to the zombie. His last test was slicing the leg with the sword that randomly showed up and threw it. With that, he got what he wanted and left."

"He disappeared and then reappeared with a sword." Noah finally spoke. "That isn't suspicious enough?"

"The next part will be. Ma'am, I believe you should view the next clip." Victor spoke. Scarlet nodded and Victor hit the next clip.
