Bored Gamer in Other Worlds

934 Chapter 934 A Dance of Flames

"Who the ugly fuck are you?! Get your ass out of here!" A minion of Ralph threatened. His big body came closer towards our very own protagonist and that was as far as he got.

"THUD!" The ape collapsed in a bag of soulless meat.

"THUD!"

"THUD!"

"THUD!"

.

..

And all the others like him followed suit. Even Cara was not saved from the ordeal.

"What is this?!"

"HELP!"

"I'm so afraid." Ten souls were slapped away from their mortal shells. They laid vulnerable in the physical world where it would only take mere days before they would forget who and what they were.

Clark would of course not let that happen. He had a better plan in mind for this group of lucky souls.

"NOOOOOOOOO!" A black flame materialized in all directions and it crawled slowly towards the bodiless beings in the room.

Every single one of them tried to hide, fly, and escape but alas, it was all for naught in front of our op gamer.

"AHHHHHHHHHH!" All of them were consumed down to their last essence. Only this long sorrowful roar would be last from them for countless eons since then.

"A trip to hell would be the greatest gift I can offer to the lots of you." Clark murmured under his breath.

After sending this batch of rapists down to where they truly belong, our bored gamer then looked at the prize that was waiting for his taking.

Yasmin Jenkins trembled in shock as she tried to process what was happening right before his eyes. Clark was of course not dumb to not capitalize on this chance.

"Are you okay, Yasmin? Did they hurt you? Is there something I can d…" Our bored gamer approached slowly while he showcased his legendary acting skills into the mix.

Even the long ashen white corpses of eras past would have applauded his great performance tonight.

"They planned to… I… I would have been r…" This was all Yasmin could say before she hugged herself in combination with her sad heaving sobs.

She almost choked and could barely breath as both relief and panic assailed her senses on what could have been. It just showed how sheltered was in life until this fated night of plunder.

Yasmin only felt that there was a strong body that embraced and that was the last thing she remembered since she slept a peaceful one thereafter.

* * *

"Hmmmm…" Yasmin woke up and the first thing she noticed was the familiar surrounding that met her sight. This was of course none other than her own room.

The very room that had accompanied her for more than 20 years in this world.

It did not take long for the memories to come rushing back at her and she almost vomited on the spot because of the horrible experience she had. One important face came to her mind at once.

"Brodie!" Yasmin looked around and found not a shadow of the person she wanted to see.

This realization had prompted her to scramble for her phone and she thank the heavens that the thing was just right there within arm's reach.

A few taps of the smart device and a rhythmic ringing was already well under way. She called 3 times until the call was finally connected. Our bored gamer knew how to keep her in suspense above all else.

"Yasmin, how are you?" Clark asked. He could see the worried face and the haunted eyes of his soon to be wife but that has not diminished her beauty in any way whatsoever.

It has instead show a different side of her that was rarely ever displayed into the open.

"I'm… okay now. Thanks to you, Brodie. If they had been allowed to do what they want, I don't… I don't think that I could ever live another day after that."

Yasmin confided and fresh tears flowed from her eyes. She put one hand to cover her mouth as a harrowing sob threatened to come out.

She was at least successful in keeping one away before the eventual reaction triumph. Pitiful audible moans of both pain and disbelief resonated in the privacy of Yasmin's room.

She cried and our good gamer listened. This quest was nothing compared to the myriad unimaginable things that he had already encountered in his long immortal life.

"How… how were you able to make them sleep?" This was the first question that came from Yasmin's mouth the moment she recovered some dozen minutes later.

"Hehehe. That was nothing. It was only a handy tool that I created back in grade school. A failed science fair experiment at the very least."

Clark had a cheeky but proud smile on his face as he reminisced a memory out of thin air. It did not need telling that this experiment or any like it has not happened in the first place.

It was just an easy excuse for the technique that he used in the night before.

"It was an extremely effective experiment if you ask me. You saved my life, Brodie. I don't know how to thank you enough for what you've done."

Yasmin smiled sadly when the memory resurfaced at the back of her mind. She felt a great anger inside her that wanted to lash out at those persons involved in creating this scar in her heart.

Alas, she shook her head to deny these thoughts. She had chosen to ignore in order to hopefully forget everything.

Yasmin was indeed someone who has not yet given up on all the good and beautiful things in this world. Luckily enough, our bored gamer was millions of leagues ahead of her.

"I know many things that you could do in order to repay me. You could start by taking me to a movie.

I hear that the new release Doctor Weird is trending today and has gotten many hype reviews in just a couple of days. After that, you can also s…" And just like that, a budding relationship began in full.
