When Alice heard the Knight Commander’s words, her expression was complex.

In the backyard, the Fire Demon Lizard was eating its food while Adrian and Alice were looking at each other.

Tears immediately welled up in Alice’s blue eyes. She asked, “Is that all you want to talk to me about?”

Adrian hesitated for a moment before slowly walking forward. Then, he then stiffly opened his arms and gently hugged Alice’s soft body as a farewell.

“You idiot!” Alice pushed Adrian away in exasperation and amusement.

Then, she stood on tiptoes and wrapped her arms around Adrian’s neck.

They stared at each other. After a moment of hesitation, Alice kissed Adrian’s lips.

After a long time, Alice’s face turned slightly red. She asked gently and seriously, “Will you really come to find me?”

Adrian’s heart kept racing and he nodded without hesitation. He was still relishing the sensual moment, and the sweet taste of Alice’s tongue seemed to linger in his mouth.

Alice said slowly, “If you want to come and look for me, I’ll wait for you at Kerley Academy for two years. After all, I’ll go to school there soon after I go back.”

Adrian looked at the beautiful girl in front of him and said earnestly, “I promise I’ll look for you within two years!”

“I’ll wait for you,” said Alice affectionately. The sad girl finally felt happy.
