*Boom*

The rear mast of the second pirate ship fractured and fell into the sea while the battle between the two other ships raged on.

The players had pushed the pirates hard on their own turf.  With the protection of the player's sailors being one of the priorities, any pirate who tried to board the ship was swarmed and cut down.  On the pirate ship itself, the players had cleared half of the main deck.

When the loud explosion shook the sea, the pirates became alarmed.  How could they not be worried when their back up had already been attacked and lost a good portion of their mobility.

Super stood on the upper deck and fired his crossbow whenever it was reloaded.

The pirate captain of the opposing ship glared angrily at him whenever he wasn't looking out over the battle.

Captain Uno, the leader of the first pirate ship started to feel a trace of worry, if something didn't change, it didn't look good for him and his men.

The battle on the ship was chaotic and the players were cutting down more and more pirates every minute.  And besides that, they weren't holding anything back, his ship was taking quite the beating.  To make matters worse, his back up which was led by captain Dos, had just lost one of his own sails.  Perhaps, the second ship could pull him out of the mess, but Captain Dos probably had his own problems.

Captain Uno knew something had to change.  He turned towards the captain of the ship that he was tangled with and was surprised to see that the opposing captain was nearly alone.  There was only a single sailor next to him, and that sailor was distributing his captain's orders.

Super was pleased, the pirates were falling faster and faster.  The tanks had the situation under control while the healers kept them alive.  The damage dealers, both melee and ranged were taking down pirates left and right.  It wouldn't be long before they could move onto their next target.  He then looked towards the rear of the opposing ship… but the pirate captain was gone.

Super quickly scanned the deck of the enemy ship but he couldn't find the enemy captain anywhere.  Right as he began to frown, he felt a blade pressed against his neck.

"No use looking.  Order your men to surrender or they can watch their captain die."

Super chuckled but didn't order his men like the pirate captain wanted.

"Do it!  Do it now!"  Captain Uno urged.  He couldn't afford to waste time; his men were still being cut down.  At this point, there were only five left on the main deck.

"Last chance!"  Captain Uno warned.

"Fine, fine."  Super said before clearing his throat.  "Sailors!"  he yelled out to grab everyone's attention.  The fighting slowly came to a stop.  "This pirate captain here says that if we don't surrender his is going to kill me."

The few pirates who remained alive smirked after they had seen what their captain accomplished; they didn't forget to move a few steps away from the players.

"That's right!"  Captain Uno hollered.  "If you don't want to see your captain's head rolling across the deck, then you will all put down your weapons and surrender."

The sailors on the players ship began to panic.  Even though they hadn't fought, they stool threw away the daggers that they had picked up.  They didn't want to be the reason their captain lost his life.  The sailors then looked towards the players who showed no sings of surrendering.  The sailors even though the caught flashing of a mocking smile on some of the players faces.

"What are you all doing!"  Captain Uno yelled.  "Didn't you hear what I said?  Do you not care about the life of your leader?  You all are ungrateful bastards."

He was growing angry while searching the faces of the players.  He swore it looked like they were laughing at him, but he didn't understand.  He had taken their captain hostage, but they didn't seem concerned in the slightest.

Super let out a soft chuckle and brought captain Uno back to his senses.  "How unfortunate.  Looks like they don't care.  So go on, try to take my head.  It was foolish of you to board this ship.  When you disappeared, I was concerned that you were trying to escape.  I never thought that you would be delivering yourself straight to me.  What a great gift you have given me."

"Don't be a fool.  There is no trying to take your head.  There is only your inevitable death.  You can't escape my steel."  Captain Uno said he pressed the sword harder against the man's neck.  The captain was a bit surprised at how sturdy the body of this young captain was.  He had decapitated a number of people, but only a few were able to remain relatively uninjured from his press at this strength level.  But that was no matter.  In the end, with a good swing, everyone head came off.

"Alright, alright.  Get back too it."  Super said while waving his hand towards the players.

"AHH!"

"EECK!"

"OWWW!"

The players on the enemy ship turned and leapt at the few remaining pirates that had gathered together while the players on their own ship kept staring and smirking at Captain Uno.

"You fools.  You dare to forsake your captain!  Do you not take me seriously?"  Uno yelled while pulling back his sword, preparing to slash at Super's neck.

Suddenly, the captain felt a blade on his own neck.  "No they don't.  To them you are a joke."  Super whispered from behind the captain.

Uno was surprised.  He wanted to turn around and see if it was really the enemy captain behind him, but the blade against his neck persuaded him not too.  Instead, he turned around the man who was in front of him, the one he was about to decapitate.

As Captain Uno turned him around, Super dismissed the illusion.  Now the pirate captain really did feel foolish.  Once the illusion had disappeared he realized that he had been tricked.  The Super that he took hostage was actually a coat rack/ hat stand that was wearing a coat and hat.

Super's cutlass came down and slashed towards the pirate captain.  Super did a decent bit of damage but it was impossible for him to lop off the captains head.  The man was a miniboss after all.  And this was a raid.  It would take a group of players to take down the pirate captain.

But the players were ready, after Super made his move, spells and arrows began flying towards captain Uno.

Tango had done enough on the enemy pirate ship.  The only ones who remained were wounded and surrounded by other players.  There was no longer any need for a tank on the opposing ship. Tyrannical Kyp order the quadkong to head back to their own vessel.

When Kyp saw the captain trying to out run the arrows and spells that were coming away he decided to put away Tango's war hammers.  It was because Captain Uno party succeeded.  He avoided a good amount of damage simply because he was faster than it.  That made Tyrannical Kyp think that this boss must either be a rouge type or maybe he was similar to a monk.  Either way, it would be hard to take him down with big heavy hammers.

To the players, Captain Uno being really fast wasn't an awful thing.  The faster he was, the less likely it was that he had a substantial amount of health.

Players dove out of the way as Captain Uno went flying past them as he ran around the deck trying to slash down at the players in a craze.  The players had already lost a few of their own when they dealt with the opposing pirates.  But they still didn't know anything about the graveyard situation in this raid.  On top of having a few dead players, they all had a fourth of the team head over to the second pirate ship.  They had heard the explosion but they didn't know which of their allies survived or died.

All this meant that a careless death right now would make things even harder.

Captain Uno dashed at top speeds.  He appeared like a ghost and struck out at the players from behind while they were unable to react.  Each of his blows took away half of a person health.  That was until the captain appeared behind one of the raids tanks.

The captain swung his sword towards the bestial creature that these players had brought.  Captain Uno appeared from behind, but while he attacked the quadkong, the shadows he was stepping began to curl around his ankles to hold him in place.

The players didn't hesitate to charge towards the captain who had finally been stopped.  On top of that Tango didn't like being sneak attacked.  He turned and grabbed the captain who had tripped over the shadows.

"Roar!!!!"

Tango beat his chest with two arms and roared after he snagged Uno.

The pirate Captain could feel his end coming.  He didn't know if he would be able to survive this time.  He looked into the distance where the fleet commanders ship was and saw that a small but potent storm had surrounded the vessel.  Lighting flew into the sea and waves rocked the ship.

It didn't look like commander Richard would be able to help him.

*Boom* *Boom*

Two explosions fired off, back to back.  Captain Uno had no idea where the came from, but from the force alone, he knew they were close.  He felt his chance as the quadkong's grip eased up.  Not missing a moment, the captain struggled free and ran towards the edge of the ship.  He didn't hesitate to jump overboard.

He felt he was finally safe once he was in the water.  Now he would need to just put in some effort and swim to one of the nearby islands.

Then a massive shadow appeared under all three ships and the captain that was in the water.  The rain began to fall and thunder rolled in the dark clouds above.
