The cultivation realm is divided into nine realms starting from Foundation Realm, Houtian Realm, Xiantian Realm, Origin Transformation Realm, Opening Earth Gate Realm, Opening Heaven Gate Realm, Domain Realm, Law Creation Realm, and True Martial Realm.

This wasn't all because the current cultivation stages are just the part of Foundation Realm. Yes from Body tempering to Spiritual Sea are nine stages of the foundation realm. Only after reaching a peak of the foundation realm, one can enter the Houtian realm but in the Zhen Qi dynasty which was considered to be a low-level dynasty by the peoples like Great Sword Saint can't produce many Houtian Realm cultivators.

So, either stay at the Spiritual Sea stage for your life in the Zhen Qi dynasty or move to a middle-level dynasty for cultivating further but only those who can enter the spiritual sea realm before the age of twenty-five are recruited by middle-level dynasty sects.

So, in some sense, the previous cultivation speed of Fei could be considered mediocre in the eyes of those from the middle-level dynasty but the current cultivation speed of Fei can consider a genius in those eyes.

The size of the golden core represents talent and potential. These golden cores can be used as same as True essence but the only difference is effect and side-effect.

Bursting one golden can increase your power by ten times but if you lose one golden than you have to form it again which means you decrease your cultivation by a single layer. When all nine golden cores are formed, and then merge them as one to reaching the Law manifestation stage. This is a stage where a person forms runes in his golden cores, one needs to form nine ruins in his golden core to reach the peak of Law manifestation.

But nine runes are for a normal cultivator, size of the golden core represents the number of runes he needs to form. These runes are made of the law. There are two ways to cultivate in this stage, one by forming your own runes, another by using law formed by other cultivators.

These runes are especially talisman, one can need to form these talismans by themselves or by another's person. Creating a talisman is hard so most people rely on other's talisman. It's like relying on pills made by alchemists.

Talisman is runes created on the paper, while the array is runes created on by using spiritual nodes. Normal many people take talisman and array as the same but there is a huge difference. As for now, Fei didn't go through all the trouble to remember about the talisman, he has a chance inside Immortal Pagoda. So he basically didn't think too much about it.

Next is the Spiritual Sea Stage, when one creates a golden core with runes on it. The last thing, he needs to do to reach the Spiritual Sea realm is to break this golden core. This is a very crucial moment, because after the burst of the golden core. It releases strange energy known as Spiritual Energy. This is the energy required to open the spiritual sea inside the forehead and its amount is very large.

So, of a person is not careful about this process, he might even burst his own body due to the overflow of spiritual energy.

The spiritual sea can also be called as Sea of Consciousness. When Fei activated the dream bloodline, it releases a large amount of Spiritual energy which is why he could open sea of consciousness. But he still hasn't open spiritual sense which is the aspect from which a person can find his current cultivation in the spiritual sea stage.

The spiritual sense of someone who just broke into the first layer of the spiritual sea is a hundred meters but it still depends on the size of the golden cores and number of runes. Finally, when one reaches the peak of the foundation realm, his body will be ready to cultivation into the next realm which is the Houtian realm.

The Houtian realm is divided into three-three stages. The first stage is called the Blood Condensation Stage which is divided into three sub-stages. The Second Stage is called the Muscles and Skin Refinement Stage which is also divided into three sub-stages. Finally, the third stage is called Bone Forging Stage and it is also divided into three sub-stages.

From name one can guess the cultivation process, so Fei didn't go through the trouble of remembering every single detail. He learned as our cultivation progress, we can use more part of our brain. So he can learn more after he reaches a higher realms realm. Its like stuffing water inside a pot when you know it is already full.

Next is the Xiantian realm which is also divided into three major stages names as True Qi Liquid Condensation, True Qi Core Condensation, and True Qi Domain Condensation. It is about condensing the liquid form of true qi so that person can store a lot of true qi in his dantian. Then, he forms a core made of true qi which once again increases the volume of true qi inside dantian.

Finally is True Qi Domain, here the person condense a domain in which he continuously absorbs spiritual qi without using cultivation arts or any other methods though its speed won't be the same. So, in a fight, if a person activates his true qi domain, he can fight until the true qi in his domain emptied not because of an empty dantian. This is very crucial for a long fight. In this stage, the area of domain represents the talent of a person.

In other words, from the very beginning of cultivation, each stage represents talent. So, if you have a better foundation and strong talent then you can have better strength in the latter realms. For example, if a person patiently creates a bigger golden core, then this will directly impact his strength in the later stages of the spiritual sea which can be measure by the distance covered by his spiritual sense.

This is the world of cultivation, long and lonely. Without patience and hard work, you can never reach its peak and attain eternity. As for later realms, Fei didn't check them for now at least.
