The previous Heavenly Emperor had a daughter who is the female lead of the first story. Although she had transcendent beauty, her spirit was not strong. Nonetheless, she lived a good life as Princess of the Heavenly Realm.

However, after 10,000 years of living the routine and ever constant life in the Heavenly Realm, the female lead decided to descend to the Mortal Realm to explore the world. Along the way, she encountered the male lead, and the two fell in love with each other at first sight. Then, the powers of the Heavenly Realm split the two apart… Or not.

Apparently, the author of this book didn’t stick to such a stereotype. This time, the author set the Heavenly Realm inhabitants to be able to love freely. The current Heavenly Emperor, who plays the supporting role in the story, treats the female lead as his younger sister. Thus, although he wondered why his sister fell in love with a mortal, he was fully ready to accept his future mortal brother-in-law. In fact, the Heavenly Emperor even prepared an elixir, one that could immediately ascend a mortal to become an immortal, for him.

Unfortunately, when the Heavenly Emperor was preparing to welcome back the Princess and the Fuma, the Princess’ aura suddenly dissipated. As the ruler of the Heavenly Realms, and as the older brother of the Princess, he was worried for her and decided to descend to the Mortal Realm to bring his sister back despite protests and dissuasion from others.

This was only the synopsis of the story.

As for the Princess, the author proceeded to describe her, who had left for the Mortal Realm, as an inexperienced and naive little girl. In the Heavenly Realm, she was a princess, but down in the Mortal Realm, she was just a little nobody with nobody to care for her. Also, since the Mortal Realm rejects immortal spiritual power, she could only suppress her cultivation, making her even more helpless.

On the other hand, the male lead was a prince gunning for the throne. At first, he was merely fooling around with the female lead, but not long after, he ended up truly falling in love. However, to improve chances of inheriting the throne, the Prince had to put aside his true feelings and marry a princess of equal status, and marry her he did! Seeing this, the female lead was heartbroken. As she tried to give up on him, she wanted to run away, but then the Prince captured and imprisoned her in his palace. He planned on keeping her captive until he became Emperor, and then he would crown her as his Empress Consort before having her.

After that, the two had a deep love routine of ‘you love me and I love you, but I can’t let you know that I love you’, but the female lead was utterly disheartened with his betrayal. Thus, one night, she decided to go back to the heavenly realm. However, the male lead was suddenly attacked and his life was in danger. Despite the actions he already took, and despite her disappointment, the female lead still loved the Prince, and in order to save him, she didn’t mind being ruthless to herself. She sacrificed her immortal spirit to bind his soul back to his body in order to save the male lead.

She wasn’t stupid either. Although she had lost the immortality she owned, she only needed to stay with the male lead. As long as the man woke up and she took him back to heaven, her Heavenly Emperor Brother would certainly have a way to take out the immortal spirit and still save the male lead.

As luck would have it, before she could return to the Heavenly Realm, she was stabbed by the while lotus female supporting character. Without the immortal spirit, the female lead who was a mortal, died without a sound.

(TNote: white lotus = typical scheming female character that only looks beautiful.)

The male lead was devastated, and in remorse, after killing the white lotus, he died to be together with his love.

The title of the book is ‘The Little Immortal Concubine of the Overbearing Prince’.

Perhaps, this tragedy was insufficient for the original author, as they even wrote a more tumultuous drama for the Heavenly Emperor.

Upon descending to the human world, with a twist of fate, the Heavenly Emperor suffered from a slight accident, and lost his memory in the process.

Stuck in this predicament, the Heavenly Emperor was powerless until a mortal found him and helped him out. With her saving him from desperate times, the Heavenly Emperor fell in love with this woman, and the two married soon after.

Unfortunately, although he loved her deeply, the Heavenly Emperor, being amnesiac, was of not much help both in and out of the house and became a burden to his wife. Over time, the woman fell in love with another man, and finally abandoned the devilishly handsome but useless man she married to live with her true love.

In loss and grief of being abandoned by the love of his life, the Heavenly Emperor broke down in tears and did not see danger approaching as the woman’s true love came to stab him and remove this dangerously handsome ex-husband from his lover’s life. As the Heavenly Emperor laid down in a pool of his blood, the memories of his past came rushing back into his mind, and he was able to utilize his powers to heal himself.

Despite it all, he still loved the woman, and he couldn’t bear to take action in retaliation, and could only watch from afar as she married her true love. Soon after, he continued his search for his lost sister but discovered that he was already too late, as her immortal spirit had dispersed to nothingness. Thus, in utter disbelief and denial, he returned to the Heavenly Realm.

From then on, in order for him to continue governing the Heavenly Realm well, the Heavenly Emperor began to drink the water of forgetfulness to relieve himself of his regrets. However, the Heavenly Emperor’s cultivation is immensely deep, and the effects of the water would only last about a hundred years for him before he recovers all his memories and wallows in denial again. Thus, this ritual of drinking began, with it occurring every 100 years.

The title of the book was ‘The Overbearing Emperor’s Little Pampered Wife’.

The overbearing Emperor was the true love, the little petite wife was that woman, and the Heavenly Emperor had the supporting role.

When Lin Shiheng came to be in this world as the Heavenly Emperor himself, he had just finished drinking the second bowl of the water of forgetfulness.

Looking at the exquisite and perfect appearance of ‘ice sculpture’ in the mirror, Lin Shiheng had 10,000 complaints to spit out.

The things he did, could it really be called love?

To this sorrowful Heavenly Emperor, love caused him to be stabbed and left for dead as a mortal, and upon returning to being an immortal, holding himself back from taking any form of revenge.

Even if it ended there, it already looked like the original author had a feud with the Heavenly Emperor’s family. However, as it turns out, things are not over yet. After the younger sister of the Heavenly Emperor, and even the Heavenly Emperor himself, it is now time for the story of the Heavenly Emperor’s daughter.

Such is what the final book of the trilogy, ‘Trouble with the Immortals’ is about.

Surprise, surprise. Before the Heavenly Emperor’s wife left him for her lover, she was already pregnant with his child, although nobody knew of it at the time.

However, once she gave birth to a beautiful daughter, it immediately became clear whose daughter she really was. In the beginning, the woman’s lover was adamant about killing the child, but after she pleaded and begged for mercy, he conceded. He agreed to let her live, only if she stays out of the palace and be given to a commoner’s family to raise.

As expected of a vindictive author. It can be clear that this would be another piece of abusive writing.

As the Heavenly Emperor’s daughter grew up, she came to befriend a scholar, and later, the two fell in love. After passing the national examinations, he stayed with her. Later, when he was hired as a big official, he married her, and even despite 5 years of a childless marriage, he stayed by her side throughout.

In everyone’s eyes, she lived a happy life. Although she was of humble origins, she was with such a good husband, one who has a high position in the government, does not drink wine, and loves his wife so much. Even she thought her days were as blissful as can be.

One day, in their sixth year of marriage, after the scholar came back from work as usual, he painted his wife’s eyebrows, drank wine with her, and brought her to the river nearby for them to release lanterns together.

Then, in front of a river full of lanterns, he stabbed her to death with a happy smile.

Yes, the scholar killed his wife.

After killing his wife to obtain the Dao, the scholar went up to the Cultivation Realm and became a disciple in one of the great sects. After that, his cultivation journey was as smooth as his official career.

As for the wife he murdered and left behind, since she was a descendant of the Heavenly Emperor, instead of dying, she lost all her memories and became a little dragon. Confused, she only could rely on her primal instincts and thus followed the scent that she was most familiar with, the scent of her husband. Thus, she followed that scent and ended up in the Cultivation Realm.

Upon reaching there, and with the heavy loss of essence, she fell into a deep sleep, and remained asleep for a long time before waking up. Still lacking any memories, she continued following that scent, and unwittingly entered the clan her husband was in.

Following 300,000 more abusive episodes, she ended up being killed by her husband permanently this time.

In summary, the scholar eventually discovered the identity of the dragon. Since his stepping stone onto the immortal road was him murdering his wife, with his wife still alive, there was no way for his future to remain stable. Thus, he killed her once again.

After finishing the trilogy, Lin Shiheng could only look on aimlessly in silence.

The Heavenly Emperor didn’t even know he had a daughter from beginning to end.

It was something that couldn’t be helped. With her mixed bloodline, she was not born with an immortal spirit, unlike babies in the Heavenly Realm.

On top of that, during each important moment, when his daughter was stabbed by the scholar by the river, when she transformed into a dragon and traversed in the Cultivation Realm, and when she was eventually abused by a cannon fodder, the Heavenly Emperor was in seclusion.

Finally, when his daughter was truly killed by the scholar, she died without even a soul left behind. With that, a part of the Heavenly Emperor bloodline was forever lost from the world. Heaven and Earth grieved together, and the Heavenly Emperor, who was in seclusion, finally felt the presence of his bloodline. Sadly, in the next second, the vestiges of that bloodline presence disappeared like it never existed.

It was his sister’s incident happening all over again.

One could only imagine the affection he had for his sister with how he needed to drink a memory tonic every century to suppress his woes. Now, realizing he lost this unknown daughter to the same predicament, the Heavenly Emperor went down to the Cultivation Realm to take the memory of the scholar, and learn of the life of the daughter he has never and will never meet.

From there, he learnt how his daughter died such a tragic death. Furthermore, it happened twice!!

He became so pissed off that he vomited blood, and he was so angry he looked possessed. At that point, he tore apart the primal chaos out of sheer rage.

(TNote: [混沌] hùn dùn / primal chaos =formless mass before creation in Chinese mythology.)

Lin Shiheng held out his hand and rubbed his eyebrows. [Where did he go?]

[Out of the world of fiction, looking for the author to take revenge.]

No wonder.

Although a vacation world would give him a good identity, this small world had formed its own vein. Regardless, if the Heavenly Emperor had not torn the primal chaos apart, he wouldn’t have been able to occupy this body.

Right now, he entered right before the Heavenly Emperor would have his second forgetful drink.

The daughter of the Heavenly Emperor had already been stabbed by her husband, and now is amnesiac and was sleeping as a little snake who didn’t even realize the state of her being.

Soon, the Heavenly Emperor would start his seclusion whereas the little snake will wake up and mistakenly enter the clan grounds and get reacquainted with her husband. Later, she would be framed as a murderous monster, fall into a quagmire, and eventually fall in love with her husband again after struggling together to survive. After he acknowledges her feelings again, he would kill her.

Miserable.

Terrible.

Very tragic.

“Does Your Majesty want to go into seclusion?” The immortal who was serving at the side asked respectfully.

“No.”

Clad in white, the Heavenly Emperor slowly rose and said, “I’m going to the Cultivation Realm.”

The immortal froze, apparently worried about his Lord repeating the mistakes of the Princess, “But the Cultivation Realm cannot bear your highness’ spiritual power, and you can only suppress your cultivation to enter. If you encounter any misfortune again…”

Lin Shiheng flung his sleeves and flipped a token towards her.

“Let the Heavenly Soldiers and Generals hear this order. If I use this token, immediately instruct them to surround the Cultivation Realm.”

Huh, going at it alone?

Wouldn’t it be a loss of his status as the Heavenly Emperor?
