Harry Potter and the Legend of the Temple

Chapter 274 The Disappeared Person

Things went as Louis imagined. When he and Klum were chatting about Hermione in the Forbidden Forest, a big bald man suddenly emerged from the jungle. Oh, no, it was a crazy old man.

What he was talking about was the preparations before the Triwizard Tournament, telling Dumbledore how many students Durmstrang would come, and confirming with Madame Maxime the number of people who signed up for the Triwizard Tournament.

And as he was talking, he suddenly started crying, saying that he wanted to see Dumbledore and that he had made a big mistake.

Harry and Krum didn't know what to do for a moment. Crouch scratched his head and looked extremely painful. Klum suggested that Harry go tell Dumbledore first that he was here to accompany Mr. Crouch.

"You mean Krum is accompanying Barty Crouch?"

"Yes, Louis, we have to go find Dumbledore."

Harry didn't think there was anything wrong with this, but Krum was not doing well with Louis.

If it is true as Lewis suspected, then Crouch is in danger now.

"What do you want from me, Harry?"

At some point, Dumbledore appeared next to Hagrid's hut. Next to him were Minister of Magic Fudge and Minister of Sports Ludo Bagman.

"Professor Dumbledore? Minister?"

"Cornelly and I went to Hagrid to discuss the final content of the third project." Dumbledore explained, "What did you want to say to me just now, Harry?"

"It's Mr. Crouch. We met him in the Forbidden Forest. He was a little delirious. I'm not sure what he was talking about." Harry said quickly.

"Barty?" Fudge was stunned for a moment, "It's true that he hasn't appeared in the Ministry recently. This is very unlike his style. His work is taken care of by Percy Weasley."

"Damn it, Harry, do you remember the exact location?"

"I know, Professor." Harry nodded, "Krum is with him."

"Lead the way." Dumbledore quickly took Harry away, followed by Fudge and Bagman, and Louis also followed a group of them.

Across the open space in front of the cabin, Louis could even see Beauxbatons' carriage parked around it.

"Where are they?"

After walking for a while, Dumbledore asked Harry, and Harry pointed to the woodland not far away.

But there was nothing. Fudge and Bagman both looked at him with some confusion, wondering if Harry was playing tricks on them.

"They were still here just now," Harry said to Dumbledore.

The old man waved his hand at Harry, tested the ground with his fingers, then narrowed his eyes and pointed forward with the Elder Wand.

"Fluorescence."

A strong light illuminated the surrounding environment, and then they saw Krum who was unconscious not far away.

Dumbledore rolled his eyelids, and after making sure it was okay, he started looking around again.

"Um, what's going on?"

Victor Krum woke up on his own. He shook his groggy head and looked at the large number of people who came to him, somewhat confused.

"Mr. Krum, have you noticed, Barty Crouch?" Fudge squatted down and asked Krum who was sitting on the ground.

"Barty Crouch? You mean that crazy old man?" Klum suddenly became angry when he mentioned the name. "He attacked me, not long after Harry Potter left. I originally wanted to stop him, But he knocked me out with his wand."

"You need to rest for a while." Dumbledore comforted Krum and said.

They searched everywhere, but found no news about Barty Crouch, as if this man had disappeared from the world.

"Victor! Victor! What's going on?"

Karkaroff and Alastor Moody came from a distance at the same time. When he saw his student sitting on the ground, he couldn't help but feel a little nervous.

"I was attacked by Crouch." Krum frowned as if complaining that Karkaroff came so late.

"Crouch? Barty Crouch? Isn't he the referee of the Triwizard Tournament?" Karkaroff roared.

"Igor!" Dumbledore stopped him from continuing, and at this moment Louis, who had been silent next to him, stepped forward.

"Mr. Klum, I have a question for you." Louis squatted and looked at Klum sitting on the ground, staring at him with his eyes.

"You have been emphasizing that Mr. Crouch knocked you out before. Then I would like to ask why an old man who is already unconscious and may not even know how to use magic suddenly attacks you."

"How do I know this?" Krum was a little annoyed, "Do I still need to guess the way a person with neurological problems thinks?"

"Of course not, but let me remind you." Lewis smiled, "Sometimes what you see is not necessarily what you believe. It is very tiring to deliberately pretend to be someone else."

"What do you mean?!" Karkaroff roared at him, "You mean Victor is lying to you? He is the victim!"

"Okay, Igor, we don't have this idea." Dumbledore rubbed his forehead, "The top priority is to find Barty first, Alastor!"

"No problem, Dumbledore, leave it to me."

Moody limped up from behind, said something to Dumbledore, and then walked deeper into the Forbidden Forest.

Louis has been observing Klum's reaction. When he tentatively said "play someone else", Klum's eyes moved.

Karkaroff was still talking there, seeming to have been complaining about the unfairness of the entire game, so much so that Fudge couldn't stand it anymore. He warned Karkarov that if he talked nonsense again, he wouldn't mind locking him up again. Enter Azkaban.

"Hagrid, please escort Louis and Harry back to the castle. Mr. Krum will be taken back by Karkaroff himself. Now is the most important moment of the Triwizard Tournament. I hope to ensure the safety of every warrior." Safety."

Dumbledore spoke firmly, and both Hagrid and Karkaroff could only nod.

"Okay, Professor, but I can leave Fang here, maybe it can help." Hagrid said, patting the two teenagers on the shoulders with his big hand.

"Let's go, Harry Louis."

The three people walked through the jungle again and walked towards the place where Beauxbatons' carriage was placed.

"I really don't know why Karkaroff said that. He has been favoring Krum from the beginning." Hagrid complained a little, "Dumbledore has been worrying a lot about this matter recently, and now as the referee Mr. Crouch has disappeared again."

"Those foreigners are really not very pleasant to people. Really, it's best to have less contact with them."

Louis felt that there was something in Hagrid's words, but he did not ask in detail. After all, his emotional issues were his own private matters.

"Okay, I'll send you here." Hagrid brought Louis and Harry to the portrait of the Fat Lady Gryffindor. "You two must perform well in the last competition."

"Definitely, Hagrid." Louis and Harry said in unison, but now they were not far away from the third final project.
