Harry Potter and the Legend of the Temple

Chapter 314 The Real Victor Klum

It is summer in Scandinavia, and the temperature is not as cold as the lack of light in winter. You can see that some students are flying on broomsticks on campus.

Durmstrang's control over students is not as strict as Hogwarts, and they also maintain a tolerant attitude towards black magic. Dueling is a required course for them, so students throughout the school have developed a resolute and unyielding character.

The school occupies a large area. Looking from the main entrance, Louis can still vaguely see the black water lake next to it. There are several ships parked on it, the largest of which is the one that originally sailed to Hogwarts.

"I think we should go find Dumbledore. It's never good to barge into someone else's school like this."

Lupine didn't like the atmosphere in Durmstrang very much. The depressing feeling it gave him reminded him from time to time of being suppressed and neglected in the wizarding world as a werewolf.

As soon as he finished speaking, the grand door was opened, and three figures walked out, one of whom was Victor Krum, whom Louis was familiar with.

But this Krum is real. Although he was trapped on the ship for nine months, his energy and spirit have obviously recovered almost.

He is indeed Bulgaria's leading seeker. Louis thought this way. After the close contact, the feeling he gave him was completely different from that of Barty Crouch Jr. back then.

"Welcome, welcome, you must be Mr. Louis Wiggins. Dumbledore told me that you will be here in a few days."

The person who spoke was the slightly older middle-aged uncle in the center. According to Krum later, this man was originally the vice principal of Durmstrang, but since the resurrection of the mysterious man, the original principal Igor Kaka Love did not return to Durmstrang with them and disappeared under mysterious circumstances. After that, all matters of the school were under the jurisdiction of the vice-principal. In other words, he is now the principal of Durmstrang.

Imos Ketthaad, that's this guy's name.

"There was a little delay on the way. Where is Dumbledore?"

"He has gone out beforehand and will be back later." Ketsade said. He seemed to be a kind man. "You can go around, but don't forget there is a welcome banquet tonight."

"OK."

Louis and Lupine entered Durmstrang's hall under their leadership. For a moment, the visual impact of Durmstrang's architectural style filled Louis' eyes.

Different from the tall and pure white marble of Hogwarts, its overall style is darker and has a retro feel.

There are jagged rocks everywhere on the wall, but these rocks do not appear messy, but instead have an ancient atmosphere.

There are various kinds of statues around, but the most peculiar ones are the four sculptures placed in the main hall.

"The Hanged Man means giving to others and not being afraid of difficulties. This is one of our four major colleges in Durmstrang."

Krum's voice sounded behind him. His English was not particularly fluent, but Louis could tell that he was trying very hard to explain to him.

"Tarot cards?" Louis was a little surprised. Tarot cards are a Muggle divination technique, but he didn't expect that Durmstrang would use it as the name of his college.

"Is that what the Muggles call it? But we prefer to call it Nieda. It was established by the founder of Durmstrang."

There was some pride in Krum's tone, and Louis quickly looked at the other three sculptures.

"The other three..."

"Emperor, Priestess. They represent power and wisdom respectively. These are also the colleges we were divided into when we first entered school, similar to your Hogwarts. The eleven-year-old child stood in the center of the four sculptures, waiting for the statues to shine. ”

This is a bit like Ilvermorny in North America. So Louis thought, but he soon noticed that Krum had not said what the last sculpture meant.

"The Fool is the most mysterious college among our four colleges. It represents potential, endless potential. No one really knows what its selection criteria are. But the students selected by The Fool will have merit in the future. Not to be missed.”

"So, among these four academies, the number of fools is the smallest?"

"Among the students who have not yet graduated, the number of fools does not exceed ten."

Louis took a breath. Like Hogwarts, although the number of people in each grade and house does not seem to be large, there are at least 1,000 people. That includes students from all of Northern Europe and even Western and Eastern Europe. There must be a thousand students anyway. So many. Among this group of people, the Fool's Academy can be tied with the other three academies, but the number is only one percent.

"You're not one of them, are you?"

Klum did not answer him, but took Louis and the others to another place.

Lupine separated from them at the end of the corridor, and he followed Katesade back to the drawing room to wait for Dumbledore to return, so that only Louis and Krum were left.

Viktor Krum is not very talkative, but as the most famous seeker in Bulgaria and captain of the Durmstrang Quidditch team, he is a very popular presence in the school, and almost all students passing by will talk to him. When he said hello, some girls couldn't help but look at him like a nymphomaniac.

It was summer vacation in Durmstrang, and there were not many students taking summer courses. Even so, Louis felt the attention. Harry Potter did not receive such a welcome at Hogwarts.

"I'm a little tired of these people." Krum said with helplessness in his tone, "The current time period is fine, but in normal times, I wouldn't be able to go to school normally."

The celebrity effect brings an expansion of the school's student base and popularity, but it is a worry for them.

"Hey, Victor!"

Louis and Krum have walked to the Durmstrang Quidditch pitch, where a flag representing Durmstrang with a double-headed eagle and a deer head, and Cyrillic letters was erected.

The person who greeted them was a boy from Northern Europe who was leaning next to the flag, with a tall nose and blue eyes with Nordic characteristics.

"Sat Fenri? Why are you here?"

Krum spoke in Bulgarian, but the boy seemed to understand.

"Waiting for you, didn't we agree to go to the duel field today? Uh-huh? Who is this?"

"A guest from Hogwarts." Krum introduced.

"Hogwarts? It's not the kid who won the Triwizard Tournament, right?" Satfenri's eyes widened. He didn't expect that this champion looked more immature than he thought.

That's right, the British are not as rough as the Nordics and Louis is only fifteen years old now.

"Let's get down to business, what happened over there at the duel?"

"The queen is here, you know, that guy wants to challenge you, you can't hide for the rest of your life, right, Victor?"

"Her again?" Krum frowned. It seemed like that guy had caused a lot of trouble to Krum.

"She has just completed fifteen consecutive victories, which is only one game away from Gaiwater Grindelwald's record of sixteen consecutive victories, and all nine people from the Academy of Fools were defeated by her."

"Okay then, I'll go take a look with you, will you come with Louis?"

Krum asked Louis beside him, he smiled and nodded:

"Of course, I'm happy to accompany you."

He wanted to see what kind of person this duel queen who had won fifteen games in a row was.
