Harry Potter and the Legend of the Temple

Chapter 360 Ron Weasley’s Potential

The Quaffle drew a perfect conic curve in the air, and unsurprisingly got into the basket behind Scamander.

Rodolfo's eyes gradually became serious. He had conceded four goals in a row, and was only the last one away from the five chances that Louis mentioned.

He had to admit that even though he had played his best in the first four balls, he still couldn't stop the elusive Quaffle. This was different from conventional methods. The skills Louis displayed exceeded his knowledge of Quidditch.

But at the same time, Lewis, as the chaser and attacker, also lamented that Rodolphe was more powerful than he imagined. He even used the stunt he used against Oliver Wood back then, and the Marseille slalom was only just a hair away. He was lazy.

On the last ball, Louis adjusted his breathing. He threw the Quaffle high, and then, under his precise control, the Firebolt performed a 360-degree rotation on the spot. When the Quaffle began to descend from its highest point, he moved his left foot forward, using an extremely difficult posture to hit the Quaffle with incomparable precision.

The ball flew toward the middle door frame due to the force of the ball. Rodolfo reacted quickly, but something unexpected happened.

The Quaffle suddenly dropped as it approached the basket, and Scamander grabbed it with his hand, but missed it. The quaffle was as light as a fallen leaf and passed over the bottom edge of the goal frame, grazing the boundary of the basket and passing through the goal.

"I lost."

Rodolfo shook his head helplessly. He operated his light wheel and slowly descended from the sky.

The students below were already extremely shocked by Louis. They eliminated two candidates who had never conceded a goal before. This is a feat that perhaps no one has accomplished before.

If Gryffindor's substitutes are so strong, then the real strength of the regular players will be exaggerated to such an extent.

Now, they have no doubt that one of the five balls mentioned by Louis can be blocked, and perhaps no one can achieve it.

"That Hufflepuff guy is a bit interesting." Qiu Zhang looked at the selection with interest, "But to be honest, I heard that he doesn't seem to be a goalkeeper."

"Well, I think his skills look like a seeker."

"It seems you have noticed it too."

They are also Quidditch players, one is Ravenclaw's seeker and captain, and the other is Slytherin's substitute seeker. They are both relatively sensitive to the detailed movements and habits of the seekers.

The last one, Ron Weasley, was still a little nervous. He had watched the performance of Rodolfo and McGragan before, thinking that his strength was definitely not as good as theirs, so he backed down. But Louis in the air looked at him, nodded to him, and gave him some strong courage.

To be honest, Ron's Quidditch potential is actually very great, but his state of mind has a great impact on his performance. Perhaps because of family and friend relationships, he always cares about the eyes of others, which is why after the Slytherins invented that song, it was like adding the strongest debuff to Ron.

"Are you okay?"

Ron was wearing that goalkeeper helmet, and with his somewhat tall and rugged figure, he looked really funny.

He shook his head, took a deep breath, and stared at Louis for a long time.

"Come on, let's get started."

After Ron came on the stage, the atmosphere on the stage was not so high. Many people were already planning to leave. Only one girl stood up from her seat and shouted to Ron, "Come on." Louis looked down. Not surprisingly, it was That Lavender Brown.

"Don't be nervous, Ron."

Of course, Louis did not favor one over the other just because this person was his friend. Ron was almost unable to move with that superb and weird style of play. One, two, three, four. The first four balls went into the basket behind him without any surprise. There were fewer spectators present, and their faces were full of disappointment. It seemed that today's selection might not be able to select a real goalkeeper.

Ron was trembling on the broom, as if he was going to faint.

"Is that all you can do, Ron Weasley?"

On the court, Louis spoke to Ron in an extremely mocking tone. He raised his head and stared at Louis in disbelief.

"You are just a coward. No one will like you, and many people even hate you. Why? Because you only have this strength. To be honest, you are not even qualified to participate in the goalkeeper selection."

"No, stop talking."

Ron was trembling all over. He closed his eyes tightly and didn't know what he was thinking about.

"Do you see that McGragan down there? I think he's better than you in every aspect. If you don't even catch the last ball, I hope he can join our Quidditch team. And I heard he's very good at it. Hermione is interesting, well, I wouldn’t mind introducing Hermione to him.”

"enough!"

Ron's eyes were burning with anger, and his whole person seemed to be aroused by a layer of flames. His fearful and trembling emotions were swept away, and he controlled the comet steadily.

"What?"

"I said, enough is enough!"

Louis smiled slightly. For the last ball, he still used the falling leaf ball he used against Rodolfo.

The ball flies towards the goal. The characteristic of the falling ball is that it will make a sudden drop at the goal frame and catch the goalkeeper by surprise.

But Louis didn't play by the rules, and Ron Weasley did the same. The best way to deal with the fallen ball was to save it in time when it fell. Ron roared angrily, and stood up from the broom. Then his body suddenly jumped forward, and his feet immediately left the broom.

Oops! Ron's action was extremely dangerous. The moment his feet took off the broom, his whole body fell directly from the sky like a free fall to the ground.

"Shock reduction and speed stop!"

"boom!"

There was a loud noise, and Ron fell face down to the ground. The turf of the Quidditch field was soft, and several people immediately gathered around him. Fred and George looked even more anxious.

They turned Ron on his side, and his nose was visible to the naked eye. Although Louis made timely remedial measures, he still suffered some minor injuries.

However, he was extremely happy, and what he was holding in his hand was the Quaffle thrown by Louis!

Louis landed next to him. Although the result met his expectations and stimulated his potential by irritating his heart, the process was not what he wanted.

He poured the fountain of life into Ron's mouth to temporarily relieve the pain in his body. Fred and George helped him up from the ground. The two of them held him and slowly walked towards the school hospital. From that moment on, the twin brothers looked at their younger brother a little differently. It was an expression of slight admiration.

Maybe, as the song says, Weasley can really become the king of Gryffindor.
