Harry Potter's Catastrophe

Chapter 137: The Black Forest in the Forbidden Forest (Part 2)

The vines quietly wrapped around Carney's ankle without tightening.

When the prey tries to move, it will suddenly trip over and hang on the tree, and other vines will swarm up.

Carney decided to explore the forest and jumped on the tree trunk.

"Ka." The vine caught Kani's foot, but was easily pulled off.

"Huh?" Carney felt a little obstruction at his ankle, and then it became normal and landed on another tree.

The subsequent movements of the other vines stopped abruptly, and the broken vine hung straight down.

"Is it a tree vine? I didn't pay attention just now." Carney looked back and saw that the vine he broke was hanging on the tree and was swaying slightly.

Carney jumped up on the tree, chose a direction and kept going forward.

The trees trembled when I stepped on them. The trees here were much thicker than those outside, but they didn't feel as strong as the ones outside when I stepped on them.

After going deep for about five or six minutes, there are still these black trees and green leaves. If you go further inside, you can only see the surroundings clearly by the green sunlight shining through the green leaves above your head.

It's darker inside, the trees seem to be denser, and some places farther away can't be seen clearly.

"Fluorescence!" Carney took out his wand and fired a lighting ball into it.

A strong white light shone all the way through, revealing the situation inside, and stopped when it hit a high dark wall.

"Is there a wall?" It doesn't look low, at least as high as these trees.

Just as I was about to go over and take a look, a sudden change occurred.

Rustling sounds came from all directions, and dark vines emerged from everywhere.

"Gan!" He was accidentally surrounded. Judging from the number of vines, there must be hundreds.

Each tree has at least six vines. He went deep into the forest so far and didn't know how many trees there were.

"Bang!" Carney kicked down the nearest tree. The black tree was broken by the kick, and the big tree fell against another tree.

A lot of white stuff was scattered at the fracture, one piece at a time, and Carney didn't know whether it was animal bones or human bones.

This tree is actually hollow. It cannot be said that it is completely hollow. At least there are bones spinning inside. No wonder Kani trembles when he steps on it.

"So scary!" No wonder it was so quiet here. He immediately opened his magic eyes. There were hundreds of magic fluctuations around him, all coming from the black trees.

"Burning fire!" Fire is of course the most effective way to deal with trees. The tip of Carney's wand spit out a large arc of flame.

The vines paid no attention to this small flame. The vines on a nearby tree were the first to bear the brunt, and six of them instantly entangled Kani.

They did not avoid the flames that Carney swung at, and there was no reaction when the flames burned on them.

"What the hell is this? It doesn't seem to be devil's vine." Carney pointed his free hand like a knife and cut off the vine. Carney's flames burned the tree that was kicked off just now and still couldn't burn it.

However, the vines above are no longer moving, and the green leaves on the trees have turned dark.

Countless vines took advantage of the opportunity and wrapped themselves around Kani all at once, three layers inside and three layers outside, making it even more delicious than making rice dumplings.

"BOOM." Carney's spiritual energy exploded from his body, and the vines instantly broke into countless small pieces and flew out, clearing the surrounding vines.

The vines were not frightened by this move. There were vines everywhere, and the prey couldn't escape even if it had wings.

The vines surrounded it again, and even the upper part of the sky was covered with vines, intertwined and woven into a network.

"Petrify them all!" Compared with other attack spells, this control effect is not as good.

An area-wide petrification spell immobilized everything around him, and all nearby vines were petrified. Only the vines and trees ten meters away continued to rush towards Kani.

"Although this is the best time to escape, I am not a religious man." Carney shook his fists and shook his legs.

Then, he knocked down all the petrified trees around him, and many bones were exposed at the roots of each tree.

Carney took advantage of the further vines before they arrived, picked up the entire tree, and threw out the vines, hitting whatever they hit.

The arriving vines entangled Kani and tried to pull Kani up, but Kani did not move at all.

The human body shook and broke the vines, throwing the last black tree that fell to the ground, leaving a large open space around him.

Only a dozen hollow tree stumps and a field of white bones were left, which looked particularly breathtaking.

The vines were still trying to wrap themselves around Kani. Kani got so playful that he might as well kick out the whole forest.

"All petrified!" More than a dozen trees and countless vines were petrified. Carney threw a left hook, a right hook, and a sweeping kick.

More than a dozen of the big black trees fell down and then were thrown outside.

"What happened in the black forest?" The man and horse stood on a high slope and looked toward the black forest.

I saw many trees suddenly falling down, then flying up and landing more than ten meters away. It was very strange to see.

"I don't know. Could it be the monster that knocked down a row of trees just now?" One of the men guessed.

"Then it's finished. It's full of evil trees that eat flesh and blood."

"I hope it destroys more evil trees before it dies."

"Notify others that the black forest on this side should be surrounded and this monster must be captured." said a tall man, who was one of their little leaders.

This monster must be caught, otherwise the forest may be destroyed, although it is the strange forest that is suffering now.

"If that monster escapes from the black forest, other normal trees will suffer." That is the home they depend on for survival.

It is of course best for the monster to die in the black forest. The black forest is such a large forest, and the monster will definitely die inside if it does not come out.

What they need to do is to ambush outside and prevent the monsters from coming out to harm normal trees.

The Headmaster's Office on the eighth floor of Hogwarts.

Dumbledore, who was drinking tea, looked out the window, which faced the Forbidden Forest.

Wisdom eyes traveled thousands of meters and saw black trees falling and flying up.

"Fox, let's go for a run." Because it was blocked by trees, we couldn't see what was causing damage.

Fox circled around the room and then flew out of the window. He was very fast and reached the sky above the forest in a short time.

Fox's eyes were filled with runes, and so were Dumbledore's eyes. Dumbledore was sharing vision with Fox.

"Where did he go? It doesn't look like he needs help."

"Huhu~" He had already thrown nearly a hundred trees, but he did not push towards the black wall. There seemed to be a problem there.

It was better to wait until he was stronger before going. The surrounding vines had stopped moving. He took a short rest and did not find Fox high in the sky.

The vines did not step forward to continue to entangle Kani, but surrounded him, intending to trap Kani in the forest.

"You're so naive. You haven't tried your full strength yet." Looking at the vines and trees that surrounded him, they crossed each other and formed a wall. The vines behind him continued to make up.

They can't take care of the sky. So many trees have been destroyed, and there are no vines to fill up such a big hole in the sky.

However, it seems that this terrifying prey cannot fly, and as long as it is trapped, it will be consumed to death or starve to death.

"Punch seriously!" When he came to the wall of vines blocking the road, his spiritual power gathered in his right fist and hit it, as if there were traces of blue arcs erupting from his fist.

"BOOM." The five or six meters thick vines and trees surrounding him were all broken at once, and the force of his fist shattered all the trees more than ten meters in a straight line into pieces.

Susususu~~~susususu.

All the vines disappeared, and they all retreated into the empty tree trunks, making them untouchable. Anyway, the trees around them were untouchable.

"Gan." He used too much force and consumed most of his spiritual energy. He originally just wanted to break the vine wall.

"It seems that there is also this kind of wall in the depth." The lighting ball in the depth has long since disappeared, and the wall previously illuminated should be thicker vines.

"Since you are so sensible, then I will let you go." Carney shouted this to these black trees. He spent a lot of money, so he ran away after saying the hateful words.

"Hogwarts, show me the way!" He said where he wanted to go, and then cast a guiding spell on a branch, and the branch immediately pointed out the direction.

Carney started running at high speed, wondering if he could make it back for lunch. He had been playing in the Forbidden Forest for too long without paying attention.

The sun above our head has already passed the center. In the forest with so many trees, you can't see the sun's position above.

"Roar!" Carney didn't forget that the men and horses were still looking for him. He jumped up and immediately turned into a big lion.

The speed of turning into a lion was not slower than that of a human running, but even faster. The black trees looked like they were coming to an end.

"Whoosh!" Two sharp arrows shot over quickly. Carney had already expected this thing, so he grabbed it forward and ran towards the edge, and dived into the bushes.

"Boohoo!" The sharp arrow shot into the bushes, and only the sound of being inserted into the soil was heard.

When the people and horses arrived, the lion had already disappeared. After getting into the bushes, the lion jumped twice to the left and twice to the right and was already a hundred meters away.

"Do you see clearly what that is?" said a man and horse.

"A ball of yellow shadow." The first man to shoot the arrow said, and he only saw the yellow ball rushing out of the black forest.

"Look for it!" the leader of the men and horses arrived and said, and they kicked up their hooves and spread out.
