Harry Potter's Catastrophe

Chapter 29: The foundation of friendship is formed

"Kani, is that a troll? Is it dead?"

"Hermione? When did you come? Why is there no sound when you walk!" Carney was startled.

"I can hear the noise outside even with the door closed in the bathroom. Is this a giant monster?" Hermione didn't dare to go up and take a look. After all, the giant monster looked scary and had a brain. "Why is there a giant monster in the school? The entire school is protected by a protective spell."

"Why are his eyes blind?" Even though the head was shattered and blood was flowing all over, Hermione still discovered that there were two holes in the troll's eyes.

This should be the reason why the troll went crazy. He only saw the troll going crazy, and then he collapsed after being hit with several sticks by Carney. He did not dare to make a sound the whole time.

"This is a little trick, a little trick."

"Every time I talk about little tricks, it was the same last time." Hermione's words rarely sounded arrogant, "I obviously worked so hard, but the results are still far behind you."

"Knowledge is also a kind of power! It's just that it doesn't work yet. In the future, you may only have to work in the office, and I will have to do hard work. I will follow your arrangements."

Surprisingly, she didn't say anything about acting alone and not asking the professor for help as soon as possible.

Hermione's eyes were still red, and she laughed at Carney's words. "Thank you! Otherwise the troll would have come to the bathroom!"

"How are you sure the troll will go to the bathroom?"

"Silly, the troll came around the corner. There is no other place here, except for the unused classroom, which is the bathroom." Hermione rolled her eyes at Carney with a smile on her lips.

It seems that this is indeed the case. The bathroom on the first floor is quite remote, and most of the classrooms on the first floor are unused, so few people go to the bathroom. Hermione was crying in there and not many people bothered her.

Looking at Hermione, what else can I say, 'I came here specifically to fight monsters, but I just saved you by the way? ’

"It's nothing, aren't we friends? We were before the sorting!" Carney said matter-of-factly.

"Hermione! Carney, you're here too!" Harry and Ron arrived, but they were obviously too late.

"Why are you here?" Carney still wanted to continue the conversation, otherwise their conflict would be difficult to resolve.

"Professor Quirrell said that a troll entered the underground classroom, and we were worried that Hermione would come out to look for her." Harry answered, and Ron's face turned red.

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said that this morning."

"It's okay, thank you!" Hermione was still very happy. After all, someone still remembered her. She felt better after crying all afternoon and happily accepted Ron's apology.

"Oh my God! Merlin's smelly socks." Ron quickly noticed the troll lying on the ground not far away, "That's the troll? It's really big, bigger than Hagrid!"

"Is he dead?" Harry and Ron walked forward slowly. The boy was quite courageous, and he was also a Gryffindor.

"Carney! Did you do it?" Harry was shocked. "How did you do it."

"It's really amazing. These are giant monsters. I've only read in books that they have extremely high magic resistance." Ron interrupted.

"Ah hahaha, I just used the levitation spell I learned today flexibly..." Carney laughed a few times.

"Let's leave quickly! Otherwise the professor will come here!" Harry reacted and said, "The professor asked the prefects to lead the students back to the dormitory."

"Professor is the one waiting!"

Otherwise, how would the professor know who killed the troll? Don’t you want to take the credit? Extra points!

There was a lot of noise just now, and a moment later, Professor McGonagall appeared at the corner, followed closely by Snape and Quirrell who came last. Quirrell only glanced at the troll lying on the floor tiles, then let out a weak sob, leaning against the wall, clutching his chest tightly.

Snape bent down to look at the troll. Professor McGonagall looked at Carney, Ron and Harry at the front.

This was the second time Carney had seen her look so angry, and her lips turned pale.

"What's going on? Why don't you stay in the dormitory?" Professor McGonagall ignored the troll and stared at them. There was cold anger in his voice.

"Well, Professor, I just happened to pass by here and saw a wild giant monster appearing in the corridor, so I dealt with it. Isn't it dinner time now? Why are you going back to the dormitory?" Carney said innocently.

Carney did not appear in the restaurant, so he didn't know about the troll coming into the school, so it was understandable that he didn't go back to the dormitory immediately.

"What about you? Mr. Potter, Mr. Weasley, and Miss Granger!" Professor McGonagall was a little surprised at the end, but Hermione was a good student.

"I came out of the bathroom on the first floor to go to the restaurant, and then I saw Carney solving the troll!" Hermione's explanation was reasonable.

Professor McGonagall's eyes were fixed on Harry. This was only the first semester, so why did Harry get involved in such dangerous things every time.

Snape gave Harry a quick, probing look.

"We are here to find Hermione and Carney. They don't know about the troll entering the school!" Harry whispered.

"Then you should inform the professors first instead of putting your own safety at risk." Professor McGonagall felt a little better after hearing this.

"The troll was knocked to death by its stick. It should have been caused by the Levitation Curse." Snape said at the side, "But I'm curious about what kind of spell caused the injuries on its eyes. It doesn't look like an Eye Disease Curse."

"Little tricks, little tricks, nothing worth mentioning." Carney said modestly.

"I don't remember any spells in the first-year textbooks that could cause such injuries." Snape stared at Carney, but he was not fooled by the little trick.

"It's a magic that I extended with clear water like a spring." Carney waved his wand, and a water arrow appeared. It flew out like an arrow from a bow, nailed into the wall, and then turned into a pool of water.

"Good use!" Snape stopped talking nonsense after getting the answer.

"I have to say, Carney, you impress me. You can kill the mountain troll alone at level one. You have won thirty points for Gryffindor House!" Professor McGonagall continued, "Go back to the dormitory. "Okay, Severus, go and inform the students that the crisis is over, and the body of the troll will be left to Professor Quirrell to handle."

Carney and his friends hurried away and trotted all the way to the portrait of the Fat Lady at the entrance of the lounge.

"Kani, that water arrow is so handsome, can you..."

"No problem, let's go to the Room of Requirement to practice some time!"

The four people looked at each other on the road and laughed. After this incident, their relationship became even better.

"Password."

"Pig snout!"

The Gryffindor common room was already packed with people, and the food in the dining room had been moved to the common room. Today was Halloween.

The common room has also been decorated, and there are jack-o-lanterns made by the students themselves on the ceiling, which are enchanted to float.

All the tables were covered with food and plates, candles and silver cups.

The lounge was rarely as lively as this. Everyone was chatting, noisy, eating the food that was served, and full of life.

"Are you okay? Why did you disappear while walking? I planned to look for you, but was stopped by Professor McGonagall who came over!" Neville squeezed over with a plate, and he immediately noticed Carney them.

"Let's eat!" Carney smiled and pinched Neville's round face, took a plate and started to put food on it.

"Let's eat!" Harry and Ron also squeezed, Hermione smiled and said nothing, took the plate and followed Carney to put it on the plate.

Friendship in childhood is simple and innocent, and does not require too many words or complicated reasons.

They really enjoyed this dinner. After everyone knew that Carney had defeated the troll and scored thirty points for the college, they all cheered.

Carney was lifted up and tossed around the lounge. By midnight, Carney was no longer in the mood to meditate, and planned to have a good sleep and have a sweet dream.
