Harry Potter's Catastrophe

Chapter 39: Distributing the spoils

Returning to the dormitory, the dormitory was empty. Not knowing where Harry and the others had gone, Carney called for the Weasley brothers and Hermione to come over.

"Now let's allocate it, one dragon crystal, four bottles of dragon blood, eight dragon teeth, twenty-one scales, and eleven unknown eggs (bird eggs and snake eggs are confused...)" Carney Take everything out.

"Ahem, I'm more interested in this dragon crystal. I'll share the rest with you and I'll just have one dragon crystal..." Carney said first.

"How is that possible!"

"That's right, you can't!"

The Weasley brothers immediately objected, "If you found the dragon crystal, of course it's yours, and how can you only have one piece if you contribute the most."

"We only need dragon blood, dragon teeth and dragon scales, nothing else. There is enough!" George said after discussing with Fred.

"Where are you Hermione?"

"I'm free... I didn't make much effort..." Hermione whispered.

The last four bottles of dragon blood are one for each person, two dragon teeth for each person, and four dragon scales for each person. It was difficult to score an extra piece, so I decided to leave a few pieces for Harry and Ron, leaving this problem to Harry and the others.

In the end, no one wanted the eleven eggs, so they fell into Carney's bag.

"Hahaha! The dragon's scales, we really made a profit this time." Fred started laughing as soon as he got the scales.

"There are also dragon teeth. They are worth a lot of money when sold. They are also good for making armor."

"Aren't they just dragon scales..." Carney was relatively calm.

"Kani, you didn't know. Most of today's dragons have no scales..." George's eyes were shining.

"Yes, most of the armors sold outside are made of dragon skin, and dragon scales are rare!"

It seemed like that was really what happened, Carney thought about it.

"Okay, who of you knows where the kitchen is..." Carney put away the things, feeling very hungry.

"We know where we often go for late-night snacks next to the Hufflepuff common room!" The Weasley brothers are very familiar with this place.

"That's just right, then please go and bring us lunch!" Carney said shamelessly, "I smell all over my body, I have to take a shower, please..."

"Rock, paper, scissors!" George and Fred exchanged a look.

"I'm going to take a shower too! See you in the common room!" George hugged his things and left, so Fred had to run.

"Kani, just leave these for me..." Hermione said before leaving. She didn't really care about these things.

"Wash, scrub, scrub, oh oh oh..."

…………

Carney came down from upstairs after taking a shower. There were several plates of food placed on the square table in the common room.

The Weasley brothers were already eating. Harry, Ron and Neville were also there, and they seemed to be having a great time chatting.

"I'm starving to death, and Hermione hasn't come down yet?" Carney brought a plate and picked up some chicken drumsticks for himself.

"Kani, is this true?" Ron pulled on Kani's clothes with gleaming eyes. "Dragon scales!"

Harry also looked at Carney expectantly. Ron had just given him a bad rap on the dragon.

"Of course, it's a pity that you didn't go, otherwise you could have brought more back." Carney said regretfully, dragons are still relatively rare.

Although Hagrid may have a baby dragon soon, and can see it in the fourth year, basically there are not many opportunities to see dragons, and many wizards have only seen them in newspapers.

"Five dollars~you guys split it..." Carney said as if he was chewing a chicken leg.

"Harry, you get three dollars, I get two!" Ron said cheerfully, and then said, "Just think of it as a favor for your wand!"

What a good idea...

"Yeah!" Harry didn't care much about this. The small landowner had a lot of money.

"By the way, Harry, how are you doing with your immortality?" Carney asked casually. Harry is the protagonist after all, so he might be very talented in this area.

"I don't feel angry, but I feel the same feeling I had when Ollivander first touched the wand." Harry tilted his head.

"My magic talent is high, and I'm pretty good at magic..." Carney was still not too surprised...

After eating his late lunch, he returned to the dormitory and distributed the dragon scales to Harry and Ron before he started a new experiment.

Well, research on eggs!

Will an egg that is hatched with aura or magic power be a spiritual beast or a magical creature? Personally, I prefer the East. After all, the East can turn into a human form...

There are snake eggs and bird eggs here. Will the one hatched from the snake egg be Bai Suzhen or Xiaoqing?

Does the egg produce a phoenix or a sparrow?

Carney made a nest with a blanket and put all the eggs in it. How do you get the spiritual energy in your body? Can you transfer it by yourself, just like passing on the exercises? Isn’t it too violent? They are still eggs.

No matter how much he thought about it, it was better to put it into practice. Carney took out an egg and held it in the palm of his hand. Move the spiritual energy in your body, move it to the palm of your hand, separate a small trace of spiritual energy and send it to the egg shell.

"Pah!" There was a crisp sound, um... it was a chicken... Bah! bird eggs.

"It seems like there's no other way. The egg can't withstand such power." Carney disposed of the broken egg.

It should be maintained in the form of fine particles of gas, just like when I absorb spiritual energy, the gas only gathers into a fluid after being absorbed into the body.

Moreover, it was forcefully poured in, not absorbed voluntarily.

Carney changed his approach, making his hands into palms and facing the Eggs. The spiritual energy moves around in the palm and evaporates as it is consumed in the palm. The spiritual energy erupts out of the palm in the form of smoke, but ordinary people cannot see the spiritual energy, but Carney can.

White spiritual energy smoke enveloped the ten eggs. It was unknown whether the spiritual energy had entered the eggs. Anyway, the spiritual energy would slowly dissipate after it was erupted. Carney had no way of knowing.

"Carney, what are you doing? Are you laying eggs?" Harry asked after noticing Carney's strange movements after playing with the dragon scales.

"Yes, I want to hatch a pet." The spiritual energy in Carney's body was exhausted.

"What kind of eggs are these?"

"Bird eggs and snake eggs!" Carney carefully covered the eggs with a blanket and put them on the bed.

"Would you like to guess what hatched first?"

"bird eggs"

"Snake eggs"

Harry and Ron looked at each other and said each other.

"There is no reward for guessing correctly!" Carney added.

"Tch~" Harry and Ron suddenly lost any interest in this, and Harry and Ron didn't know what they were talking about...

That night, Carney sat meditating in front of the window, hugging the egg wrapped in a blanket and guiding some of the absorbed spiritual energy into his arms.

Harry was on the other side, and Harry didn't need the bonus of moonlight. Harry was very confused as to why Carney was illuminated by the moonlight. He looked at it and felt that there seemed to be a halo surrounding it. He rubbed his eyes and saw that it was gone.

Carney specially made all the eggs to be illuminated by the moonlight. Remember that demons absorb the light of the sun and moon. Well, the same goes for people who are like demons@( ̄- ̄)@

He didn't know whether the egg had absorbed the smoke aura before, but now he felt it more clearly. The guided aura wrapped around the eggshell. Carney took the time to open his eyes and take a look. The eggshell was illuminated silvery white by the moonlight.

feasible!

For the next seven or eight days, Carney held the egg in his arms every night, and put the egg in his bed during class.

Please pray that the hatched one is a female. It would be a big loss if it is a male.

After a few days, the ten eggs turned into three eggs, and the other eggs became inexplicably unresponsive. It just stopped absorbing spiritual energy, and there was no response to the moonlight.

After asking Hagrid, I found out that the egg was probably cold. Hagrid had raised a lot of things. He could tell whether the egg was dead or alive when he took it over.

A few days later, while practicing at night, only one egg responded. It was bright and conspicuous under the moonlight. The eggshell is also different from the pale white before, and has become crystal clear white.

You can feel it shaking slightly when you hold it in your hand, and it feels like it will break out of its shell in a few days.
