Heaven Destroyer

Chapter 61: Skeleton kingdom

It took about ten minutes to reach the chamber of commerce. When they arrived at their destination, Armori Hunt bid his farewell and parted ways with Ayaan.

Anyway, Ayaan was more than happy to send the man; it was an uncomfortable feeling when he thought someone more powerful than him was walking beside him. No matter how he tried, he couldn't suppress that unease in his heart.

Afterwards, he went straight to meet Isobel. He had already visited this place a few times, so he knew exactly where her cabin was. On the way, he saw Emma was instructing some worker, a smile appeared on his face when he saw the girl. She had given him a pretty good first impression beforehand.

Previously, when Ayaan asked Isobel to treat Emma better, she had made Emma a supervisor of the ground floor. Now, she didn't need to sit around the help counter and explain everything to every customer.

On the contrary, she just needed to sit around and watch over the workers if they were doing their job honestly or not. Therefore, she was very grateful to Ayaan for his kindness.

"Sir, are you going to meet our manager?" Emma asked him enthusiastically when she saw him, like a fangirl.

Ayaan smiled, seeing her jubilant expression. "Yes, I have some work with your manager."

Few words with the lady wouldn't cause him anything anyway. And furthermore, he was rather fond of this honest little girl. She was just around sixteen and was doing everything to support her family by working hard.

After that, Ayaan and Rebecca went to meet Isobel. As before, she was sitting on the sofa. Wearing a white dress, hair tied in a bun behind her back; red soft lips were like lilies and her eyes were insanely enchanting.

When Ayaan saw her look, his gaze became heated. He stared at the lady intensely and only came back to his senses when heard a cough beside him — Isobel's face turned red from embarrassment.

If it was someone else, she would have already thrown him out of her cabin. However, when Ayaan would look at her, she didn't even think about that. On the contrary, a sweet feeling emerged in her heart.

She was herself vexed about the situation. Why would she feel about him like that?

Nevertheless, not thinking much about it, she coughed, inviting the duo, "Please, take a seat."

When Isobel saw Rebecca sitting beside Ayaan, an envious expression appeared on her beautiful face, which even she was unaware of.

"Thank you, Isobel, for helping me out or it would have become much more complicated." Ayaan expressed his gratitude.

However, the lady sneered, hearing his words, "Oh really? Wasn't you trying to test me there?"

Hearing her direct question, Ayaan gave a hollow laugh but didn't comment. It seems Isobel wasn't a simple little businesswoman or she won't be able to order Armori around. She completely saw through his intentions — not a simple woman at all.

Afterwards, they talked about business, and no one asked any personal questions. It would feel weird if you start asking a personal question about the person you were going to work with, they were doing business not dating.

Though, Ayaan was attracted a little..err...more than a little to Isobel. He would definitely not try his luck when Rebecca was present. That would be equal to inviting his own demise.

.....

Two hours later, both Ayaan and Rebecca arrived at their place.

At this time, Ayaan's expressions were grave. He had thought he could handle everything just fine in the capital, but the cruel reality which revealed today was really unbearable for him. The water in the capital truly runs deep.

Rebecca knew what he was thinking. She had seen everything that happened today, and as well was vexed what to do about this situation.

Holding Ayaan's hand tightly, she looked in his eyes, comforting, "They might be strong now, but how much time would you need to surpass them. Sooner or later, they will become the dirt under your foot, you just need to strive for improvement, don't become distracted by people who could never reach your level."

Ayaan looked at the lady, chuckling, "As you command, my lady."

As he said, he pulled her even closer. However, Rebecca stopped him, "First become an Archmage and I will let you do whatever you want to do with me."

The lady whispered in his ear and ran away laughingly. However, Hearing her tempting offer made his gaze passionate, but on the other hand, he was a little depressed as well.

He looked at the jubilant face of the lady and complained, "Previously, you had already said you are mine, but now you are proposing conditions, it isn't fair."

"What isn't fair? That was an only one-time offer and you didn't take its advantage, not my problem," Scoffing as she looked at his depressed expression.

Finally, he looked at the smug expression of the lady, and smiled, "challenge accepted, be ready to lose your virginity, lady."

"We will see who would take whose virginity, humph!" Looking at her seductive expression, Ayaan really wanted to pin this lady down on the bed but controlled himself.

Though he knew that if he wanted to do it with her, she would never refuse him. But he would always feel guilty for Noor. She was his first love, therefore, she deserves his first time more and Rebecca knew this thing very well.

Nevertheless, he didn't linger on that, opening status window, he chose a plane and selected the place for two people.

"So, which plane are we going this time?" Rebecca asked seriously.

Ayaan didn't think much before replying, "We would go back to Undead plane, I am going to tame undead generals of the skeleton kingdom. That bastard skeleton dragon was able to run away from me last time, but this time I won't let it go no matter what!"

As he spoke a map appeared in front of him. This was the map of the skeleton kingdom of the undead realm. Though the places inside the map were only those which Ayaan had explored in the undead plane.

However, it was very helpful for him to decide where he wanted to appear in the undead realm. He just needed to select a place in the map and the portal would send him there.

Eventually, he selected the place where undead skeleton, one of the devil generals of the skeleton kingdom live - Valley of Malevolence.

Finally, a portal appeared above the head of the duo, tightly holding the hands of each other. The portal sucked them inside abruptly, sending in the realm filled with death and malice.

Valley of malice was the place filled with evil spirits, these types of spirits could suck the spirits of the person, leaving the only body to become an undead later on. At this palace, more magic energy wouldn't help if a mob of evil spirits were to come after a mage.

Only thing, which could fight against these spirits made of malice was the strong will of the person or else they would control the person's mind and slowly suck their spirit, leaving the only carcass.

Nevertheless, this was a single place in the skeleton kingdom and only one of the various dangers at that place. There were more horrendous things present at this place, even Ayaan was unaware of those things.

At first, when he arrived at this place, he didn't think this place would be this horrible. He thought it was just a low-level plane available in the system, therefore, he didn't put it in his eyes.

Later, however, he realised how completely and utterly wrong he was. If it wasn't for the protection of the system, he would be dead by now. This place wasn't somewhere a human could survive.

He realised that this place wasn't just filled with brainless skeletons, it was the kingdom! And they had their emperor, the lich emperor. There were armies filled with ordinary soldiers; the captains who were about the strength of the peak level high mage; company commander's strength was at the early stage of the great mage.

Finally comes generals, those Skeletons who had the strength over 5th level of the great mage could become the general. As for the emperor of this skeleton kingdom, Ayaan didn't have any idea. He had never encountered it and was happy to not meet that abominable thing. Who knows if he would be able to escape from him or not?

Furthermore, Rebecca was with him, he couldn't do reckless things. Though he could send her out of the plane with his will, he still wanted to be cautious, so to avoid any mishap to happen.

As his strength increased, the control over the system as well increased. Even then, he wasn't feeling good, as his strength increased he realised something wasn't right. But he couldn't put his finger on it.

Anyways, he didn't linger on the issue, he didn't want to waste his time on the thing which won't reach any conclusion. If there was something wrong he would know eventually.

.....

Undead plane, the valley of malevolence.

Inside the dark fog, a portal appeared, from which two humans walked out, a man and a woman. Rebecca looked around and sickening rotten smell of flesh greeted her. Her nose twitched in disgust — this was the reason she didn't ever want to come to this place. No matter where you go in this world, this rotten smell would never leave you.
