Heaven Destroyer

Chapter 82: Graveyard!

After Ayaan disabled the wolves, Noor and Isobel easily finished them. Furthermore, Noor was able to become the great mage; Isobel was just on the verge of a breakthrough.

Without wasting any more time, the group went deeper. On the way, they encountered a few other people who had black rank talent and were able to enter the fourth level. But no one came to make trouble for the group.

Everyone was trying to find something which could help them increase their magic power or some other treasures. No one had any time to do any unnecessary fighting.

Ayaan walked more than an hour and then, an energy wall greeted them. He didn't know if this wall would treat him specially, like the previous one. Therefore, he was rather nervous.

At this time, anyone who wanted to enter the fifth level was already gone. And those who couldn't enter were trying their luck on the fourth level. No one was present in front of the wall. It wasn't that no one other than gold rank talent didn't try to cross the fourth level. But they had already failed and went to search for other smaller things on the fourth level.

Ayaan's group arrived late at the scene and that's why everyone was already gone. Nevertheless, Ayaan didn't care about anyone, anyways. He covered the three ladies in his magic energy and walked towards the wall.

"Creak~"

"Creak~"

As he stood in front of the wall, it started to shake and finally, a creak started to spread on the wall. The seam enlarged gradually; making a path in front of the group. Looking at the path, Ayaan grinned.

Previously, Noor and Isobel had already told Rebecca how Ayaan was able to take them inside the fourth level. Though she knew they weren't lying. She was still shocked when she saw the wall splitting and giving them a way to enter the next level.

Ayaan walked and entered the path gradually arriving on the fifth level with others. After entering the fifth level, though, the stunned expression appeared on everyone's face. Ayaan thought he would again need to fight with vicious beasts to reach the sixth level. But what he saw on the fifth level left him speechless.

In front of him, there were hundreds upon hundreds of graves lying symmetrically. Somehow, he entered the graveyard! He didn't know what was going on but if it was the fifth level, then, whose graves were on the fifth level.

Though the envoy of the heavenly palace told them that some previous mages left their legacies on the fourth level. He didn't say that it was a graveyard for those people. As he was trapped in deep thinking, a noise came from in front of them.

Ayaan and others turned towards the source of the noise. In front of them were four people. Each of them was standing in front of a grave. Ayaan didn't know what they were doing but he was curious. He didn't disturb any of them and only stood with the ladies where he was.

Previously, Ayaan had suspected that those three people, acting as a leader of the other three regions were the gold rank talent as well like Luke, but only now he confirmed. Furthermore, they had planned their meeting inside the heavenly palace for a long time.

When Ayaan's group entered the fifth level, all four people turned towards them with shocked and confused expressions. Their leaders had told them that only four people would be able to the fifth level this time.

And every one of them was a well-known figure in each region. Now, all four people were already present on the fifth level. But some unknown people arrived out of nowhere. They found it rather strange.

Luke looked at Ayaan's group with interest, he was the only one who knew from where they had come. He knew that none of them had the gold rank talent. However, he was also confused. He didn't know how they entered the fifth level.

Though Luke and others were confused, no one went towards Ayaan's group to ask anything. They continued to stand in front of the graves. They were channelling their magic energy into the graves.

Suddenly, one of the graves started to shine with a green light. In front of that grave was standing Luke. Looking at the shining grave, an excited expression appeared on his face. He closed his eyes and sat in front of the grave like a buddha in meditation. The green light continued to emit from the grave and fell on Luke.

Other three people looked at Luke and continued to channel their energy into the graves. After fifteen minutes another grave lit up. It produced crimson light, bringing hot energy with it. And finally, it also covered the man standing in front of it.

Gradually, all four people covered in the light of different elements. No one paid any heed to Ayaan's group. They knew that anyone without the link with heavenly palace would die if he dared to enter the fifth level. It wasn't their concern, other people would take care of this ignorant group.

"What are they doing and what are those different colours?" Noor looked curiously at the four people and couldn't help but speak out her curiosity.

Ayaan looked at the four people with interest before speaking, "Those people are receiving the legacies. As for that colour, I can feel they are different elements. Maybe every legacy is connected with a single element and those colours are representing those elements."

"Only one element? Doesn't that mean my magical art is more powerful than them with the five-element?" Noor said excitedly. She thought that even the mages of the past couldn't compare to her awesome magic art which Ayaan had given her.

However, Ayaan frowned when he looked at the single element. He could tell all the four elements in front of him. But somehow he felt as if they were different from the normal elements.

He felt as if those elements were far stronger than his own elements. He couldn't believe that even the fire element which was one of the basic elements was producing a horrendous power. It had the aura of destruction.

Ayaan looked at the other graves and felt tempted, but he immediately suppressed his temptation. There were still two levels remaining. On higher levels, there must be even better items or legacies.

He was the only person who knew that this place was somehow linked with the heaven destroyer. If that was the truth, then this item wasn't from this world but the product of a much higher world or maybe from the immortal world.

Furthermore, there was something even more compelling to Ayaan — part of the system. Ayaan looked at the ladies and said, "Let's go. We will enter the sixth level."

"Can we really enter the sixth level? Didn't that envoy say that people could enter only the fifth level?" Isobel asked confusedly.

"He said and you believed him. I thought you were smart and cunning but I think you are as naive as Noor." Ayaan looked at Isobel and shook his head.

"Who are you calling naive?" both Noor and Isobel shouted at him, glaring at him furiously.

"Alright. We need to get going before those four wakes up, or it would be difficult to enter the sixth level," Rebecca looked at the four people who still had their eyes closed and said with a worried face. After hearing her, sisters didn't speak anything unnecessary.

Those four were already at the peak of the great mage and after receiving the legacies, they would only become more powerful.

"Why don't we just kill them? It would be easy to kill them while they are still meditating." Noor suggested excitedly. After spending some time with Ayaan, she became accustomed to the blood and murder. She started to realise the cruelty of the world. If you wanted to live then you had to kill your enemies. There was no other way around.

"No. We can't kill them. They are receiving the legacies from the ancient people. And if somehow, we were to disturb the wills of those graves, we would die without even realising how we died." Ayaan warned them with a grave tone. After hearing his warning, no one tried to attack those four. And their group went towards the sixth wall.

However, when they arrived in front of the fourth wall, everyone became stunned. Because it wasn't a wall anymore. In front of them was a huge golden gate. Ayaan couldn't even tell how big it was, because he was unable to see its highest point.

"So this is the sixth wall. I don't know if I could open it anymore." Ayaan looked at the golden gate and couldn't help praise the one who made this place.

Nonetheless, he didn't remain standing on the same spot. He looked at the ladies and smiled before covering them in his magic energy. Everyone wanted to know what was exactly inside this huge door. Therefore, as they walked towards the golden gate, their heartbeat became fast.
