Hogwarts: I Am Such a Model Wizard

Chapter 158: lazy professor

Chapter 158 The lazy professor

Kyle took out his wand and reached under the trap door.

 “Fluorescence!”

In the dazzling white light, Kyle vaguely saw a group of green vines curling up just below the trap door.

“It is indeed a devil’s net.”

Kyle put away his wand and called Lu Wei.

"You stay here. If Dumbledore brings someone over later, just call me loudly."

 “Woo woo…”

Lu Wei, who had just finished eating the dried meat, nodded his head obediently.

Kyle patted its big head and jumped down from the trap door.

 “plop…”

The soft devil's net caught Kyle steadily like a hammock.

Feeling the soft snake-like tendrils on his body, Kyle didn't struggle at all, just lying on it quietly.

Three seconds later, the tendrils were released, and Kyle also touched the ground. He turned over and stood up, looking at the devil's net in front of him with a strange expression.

I really don’t know what Professor Sprout was thinking. He actually chose to use this thing as a level. It would be better than picking out a plant from Greenhouse No. 3 with his eyes closed.

Devil's Net sounds very bluffing, but its weakness is too obvious. It is afraid of light and fire. A simple lighting spell can make it ineffective.

I don’t know what Professor Sprout was thinking. It was obviously a level to prevent others from moving forward, but a devil’s net was used as a cushion. This was too wasteful.

Kyle raised his head and looked around, took a deep breath, and shouted:

 “Whose devil’s trap is this?”

 …

There was silence all around, with only a few intermittent echoes coming.

Whose devil's net...

 Devil’s Net…

net…

Hearing the noise, Lu Wei poked his head out curiously and glanced down.

“It’s none of your business, go back!”

Lu Wei whimpered and retracted his head angrily.

Kyle cleared his throat and continued shouting:

"Ahem...whose devil's net is it? If no one wants it, I will take it away!"

 …

 Still no one answered.

Kyle nodded after completing the process, took out a box from his leather bag, unfolded it and placed it on the ground.

More than ten seconds later, he stuffed the entire devil's net plant and even the pot with mud into the box.

After doing all this, Kyle clapped his hands and walked towards the next level with the box in hand.

Along a stone corridor, Kyle came to a brightly lit room.

It's just that the room is empty, there is nothing, and further forward is a heavy wooden door.

Kyle pulled the handle, and the door opened in response.

   …”

This...Professor Fourway must be lazy.

Looking at the dark room in front of him, Kyle hesitated whether to continue moving forward.

From the current situation, it is not difficult to guess that except for Lu Wei and Devil's Net, the other levels should not be completed yet.

If we just go back like this, wouldn't this trip be in vain?

“Forget it, we’re here now, let’s take a look and then talk.”

Kyle shook his head and took a step forward. As soon as he stepped in, the originally dark room suddenly became brightly lit.

Looking at the chessboard under his feet and the chess pieces around him that were taller than him, Kyle suddenly felt much better.

It has to be Professor McGonagall, whose mobility is much stronger than that of Professor Flitwick, or he can become the Vice-Principal.

The next step should be to win the game before you can move forward.

To be honest, Kyle was quite uneasy.

He doesn't play much wizard chess. Usually, he only plays a few games with Fred or George when he wants to kill time. It's okay for entertainment, but it's almost boring to compete with real masters.

Kyle casually walked to a black castle, reached out and touched the black stone chess body, preparing to take its place.

“Just give it a try, or you may have to go back the way you came.”

As a result, he waited for five minutes, but the chess piece made no movement at all.

Kyle walked up to the knight with some confusion...the same thing happened.

The next bishop...the pawn...the king...are all like this.

He walked around until he reached the exit, but the chess pieces still showed no reaction.

Obviously, these are just fake, and Professor McGonagall has not completed her level either.

It was the same after that, the rooms were all empty.

Kyle could only go back the same way and left here disappointed.

It seems that he did come early.

Perhaps in the view of Dumbledore and the professors, one Lu Wei is enough to drive away the intruders, and there is no need to rush to complete those levels.

After leaving the fourth floor, Kyle went to the underground classroom again before returning to the Hufflepuff common room.

“Thank God, you are finally back.”

Cedric had been in the lounge. He came over immediately after seeing Kyle come in and asked curiously: "Where were you just now?"

“The fourth floor.” Kyle said, “Didn’t we go there together?”

“I’m asking where you went after we ran back from the fourth floor.”

"I didn't run away..." Kyle thought for a moment and said, "Actually, I met Lu Wei at Hagrid's last year... Oh, by the way, Lu Wei was the name of the three-headed dog that day."

Kyle sat on a chair and placed a pot of pumpkin juice and a few cookies just brought from the kitchen on the table in front of him.

Even late at night, the house elves in the kitchen looked no less busy than during the day. When Kyle went in just now, they even turned on the stove, preparing to cook a sumptuous meal.

It was just that it was too time-consuming, and Kyle just wanted to reassure his stomach, so he refused.

At this moment, Cedric had just come to his senses and said incredulously: "Wait a minute...you just said you know that three-headed dog?"

“Yes, we met last year.” Kyle said: “He is less than two years old now, he is still a child.”

“But...why didn’t you tell us just now?”

“I said it before.” Kyle shrugged and said, “But you ran too fast, and the person disappeared as soon as you turned around.”

Cedric's face suddenly turned a little red.

When he saw the three-headed dog, he was confused. His first reaction was to run away. He didn't care what others said.

Kyle pushed the plate of cookies toward Cedric.

“Would you like a biscuit? It’s filled with cheese. It tastes pretty good.”

"OK, thanks."

Cedric also felt a little hungry, so he took a piece and put it in his mouth.

“Have you been on the fourth floor all this time?”

 “Yes.” Kyle nodded.

Cedric took another biscuit and asked with some curiosity: "Did you notice the trap door under the three-headed dog?"

"I saw it, but it's a pity..." Kyle sighed: "Maybe we went too early, and the professors haven't had time to decorate it. There are just a few empty rooms there now."
