Chapter 27 First Lesson

Although Kyle never had to worry about delivering messages, it would be better to have an owl of his own at Hogwarts.

Because in a sense, owls and telephone numbers in the Muggle world are the same, and they usually represent the identity of their owners.

 This point is quite important.

To give the simplest example, Kyle’s mother, Diana, works in the Department of Mysteries of the Ministry of Magic. The management of this department is very strict. Except for special circumstances, the letters sent usually need to be screened at all levels.

From the identity, belonging, and status of the owl... to the name, identity, and belonging of the sender, and finally to checking whether there are special substances or curses on the letter.

Until it is determined that there is no problem, these letters will be sent to the Department of Mysteries in the form of paper airplanes.

This is a rule, even if Kyle sends a letter, there is no exception. At most, the process will go faster.

Given the efficiency of the Ministry of Magic, it will take at least a day for this whole process to be completed.

 But it’s different with Laton.

Diana can apply for it as a special owl. While the letters will be prioritized, the screening process can also be simplified a lot. She only needs to check the status of the owl, the name of the sender, and whether there is a curse on the letter, and it can be completed on the spot.

Diana specifically told him this when he was at Platform 9, asking him to try to choose the same owl when sending letters in the future. If that didn't work, go to Diagon Alley and buy one.

Of course, it is definitely impossible to buy it. How could Kyle spend such a waste of money? He is already in trouble.

 Perfect solution.

Kyle took out some owl nuts and a few bags of Motla rat jerky from the deformed lizard skin bag he carried with him, and pushed them in front of the owls together with the chestnuts in his hand.

Then he found some clean water, poured two bottles of owl tonic into it, stirred it well and poured it into a stone trough next to it.

These are considered hard-earned expenses, and we can’t let them drain the feathers of this place in vain.

While the owls were eating, Kyle took Rodon back to the castle, and then walked straight towards the Hufflepuff common room.

Go through the wooden barrel in the kitchen corridor and return to the dormitory...

Mikel and Ryan are not here, so they must have gone to the classroom.

Kyle didn't think much, placed Laton on the shelf next to his bed, picked up the textbook and left.

In the common room, Kyle happened to meet Cedric who was also about to go out.

“Kyle, I was just going to find you.” Cedric walked over quickly and said, “What is your first class?”

"Magic." Kyle shook the "Standard Spell, Elementary" in his hand and asked, "What do you want from me?"

“By the way, this is for you.” Cedric handed a piece of parchment to Kyle:

“This is a map of Hogwarts given to me by a prefect when I first entered school. It clearly marked the location of the classrooms and the changes in the stairs.

But I don’t need it now, so it’s just right to give it to you. "

Hogwarts is good in every aspect, but it is too big, and the interior is even more complicated, like a big maze. Basically, all the little wizards who have just entered the school will not get lost, and being late is commonplace.

Fortunately, the professors also knew what was going on. Except for a certain dean, the other professors turned a blind eye to this, or verbally criticized it, or deducted one point symbolically, and Not too fussy.

Kyle took the parchment and looked at it carefully.

It is a very ordinary map, but the content is very detailed. It not only clearly marks all the routes from the Hufflepuff common room to each classroom, but also specifically indicates where the stairs need to turn before walking.

It can be regarded as a low-end version of the Marauder's Map, but it is enough for Kyle.

"Thank you very much. I really need this." Kyle put away the map and said, "By the way, what is your first class?"

 “I’m the potion…wait, the potion!”

Cedric was suddenly startled, and then ran away: "I'm leaving first Kyle, remember, the last thing you can't be late for at Hogwarts is Potions class, you must remember..." Cedric's voice became louder and louder. It got smaller and smaller, and soon disappeared at the end of the passage.

From his behavior, it is not difficult to see that Snape must have left a deep psychological shadow on him...or in other words, he has left a psychological shadow on many young wizards.

Kyle doesn’t think he can run away either.

“It’s a pity, it would have been nice if Harry Potter could have entered school a year earlier.”

Kyle shook his head and left the common room.

 …

The Charms classroom is on the third floor and can be found easily by following the map.

The first thing you see when you open the door is a stack of books stacked in the shape of a staircase. There are also four unknown portraits hanging on the wall in front of you.

They are probably some of the more famous wizards, but Kyle doesn’t know any of them.

On the walls on both sides are the logos of the four colleges, and below are several long tables.

When Kyle got here, there were still five minutes before class started.

To be honest, it was not too early at this point, but there were not many people in the classroom, not even Professor Flitwick.

Kyle found a seat and sat down.

Sitting across from him were several young wizards from Ravenclaw. There were people from the two colleges, one on the left and one on the right. They were clearly differentiated.

As nine o'clock got closer and closer, little wizards came in one after another panting and pushing the door open.

Kyle also saw Kangna, but unfortunately the little witch ignored him at all and passed in front of him angrily.

At 8:59, Mikel and Ryan also arrived.

 “Thank God, I’m not late.”

Mikel began to pant as soon as he sat down, and at the same time vomited his bitterness to Kyle.

 “We are lost.”

“Oh my God, Hogwarts is such a maze. We were originally going to the third floor, but when we were on the second floor, the staircase suddenly changed its position. After we went up, we ended up on the fifth floor inexplicably.”

“Then we started walking down again, and after walking for a long time we realized we were still on the fifth floor.”

“I finally got down, but I’m back on the second floor... Do you know, Kyle, we climbed the stairs for thirty minutes, and my legs are almost broken!”

Mikel became more and more aggrieved as he spoke, and almost cried.

"Wait a minute, it's a bit messy, please let me slow down." Kyle rubbed his forehead and thought for a long time but couldn't figure out why they could still stay put as they walked down.

Even if you are a road idiot, you must be able to distinguish between up and down.

Winning in circles has touched upon the realm of metaphysics, which is not the same approach as magic.

And there were no records on the map that Cedric gave him.

"Forget it, let's not talk about it for now." Kyle, who really couldn't figure it out, decided to give up and turned around and asked, "Then how did you find this place in the end?"

"They were brought here." Mikel blushed, pointed to the opposite side and said, "We met a new Ravenclaw student on the fifth floor. She pulled us down the revolving stairs and... Asked if we were going to Charms class, and if so we could come with her.”

Kyle glanced subconsciously and realized that Mikel was actually referring to Qiu Zhang from Ravenclaw.
