Hogwarts: I Am Such a Model Wizard

Chapter 646: Letter to Newt

 Chapter 646 Letter to Newt

“What did she mean by what she just said?”

After Umbridge left, Hagrid looked at Kyle in confusion and asked: "Also, why did you just say that you want me to trust the Ministry of Magic? You should obviously trust Dumbledore. You know it."

"Yeah, I know." Kyle nodded, "But if you want to avoid trouble, you have to say this now."

“Just a witch from the Ministry of Magic, what kind of trouble can it cause?” Hagrid didn’t seem to care at all.

"Umbridge has the right to fire professors." Kyle reminded him, "If she feels that any professor is unqualified, she can fire the other professor."

"You know how to joke, Kyle, this is impossible..." Hagrid said nonchalantly, "No one except Dumbledore can fire a professor from Hogwarts at will, not even Fudge.

"Also, no matter what you say, I will never betray Dumbledore, even if it's just a pretense. If she wants to cause trouble for me because of this... then just come."

Kyle was not surprised. He had already guessed that Hagrid would say this.

As Dumbledore’s biggest fan, Hagrid never shied away from this, even if it would bring him a lot of trouble.

Just as I was thinking about it, there was another sound of footsteps outside, and this time the sound was very messy, and it was obvious that there was more than one person.

“Bang bang bang!” The door was knocked heavily.

“Hagrid, it’s us!” Harry shouted excitedly outside.

Hagrid looked very happy as well. It felt really good to have so many people come to see him just after he came back.

He stood up and opened the door.

The heads of Harry, Ron, and Hermione popped out from the crack in the door.

“Hagrid, when did you come back?”

"Just half an hour ago." Hagrid said with a smile, "Okay, come in and warm up."

Three people squeezed in from outside.

"We saw Umbridge just now." Hermione whispered, "She didn't say anything outrageous... Oh, Hagrid, are you hurt?"

She also noticed Hagrid's swollen eyes.

"Did that toad Umbridge do it?" Ron said angrily, "She actually dares to attack the professor now?"

"No, it has nothing to do with her. I was injured accidentally." Hagrid covered his eyes with his hands again. "Anyway, she just looked around and left. She didn't say anything else."

Hermione frowned suspiciously.

According to their speculation just now, Umbridge will definitely show off her rights and position as senior investigator in front of Hagrid... How could she just look around and leave.

But Harry didn't think so much. After hearing that Umbridge didn't embarrass Hagrid, he didn't continue the topic, but said in an annoyed tone: "If I had known you would come back today, I would have Don’t send Hedwig to Professor Graplan for treatment.”

 “Hedwig? What’s wrong with it?”

"It was injured. Someone attacked it. We think that person wanted to intercept the letter Hedwig brought."

 “It’s Filch.”

The sudden sound startled the three of them, and when they came back to their senses, they noticed that there was another person in the room.

"Sorry, Kyle." Hermione said quickly, "I didn't notice you were here just now."

"It doesn't matter." Kyle shook his head, indicating that he didn't care.

"Wait a minute, you just said Filch..." Harry remembered Kyle's words and wondered: "Did he attack Hedwig?"

"That's right," Kyle said. "He was trying to **** the letter away from Hedwig in the owl loft."

"I just know it!" Harry looked furious. "Who else would be interested in my letter besides him and Umbridge."

"This is against the rules!" Hermione was also very angry. "And intercepting the owl without permission has violated the Wizarding Laws. I must tell Professor McGonagall about this!"

The three of them were noisy, but Kyle didn't answer the conversation. He just rummaged through his suitcase.

Soon, he found a bottle of Bai Xian essence and a large handful of fresh Bai Xian leaves. "You should be able to use these." Kyle handed the things to Hagrid.

“Apply the white essence to the wound and apply the leaves to the eyes. It will heal in about two days. If you want to be better soon, you can also go to the school hospital. Madam Pomfrey is much more professional than me.”

“Thank you, that’s enough.” Hagrid said, “I don’t want too many people to know about my injury.”

"By the way, Hagrid, what happened to you?" Harry asked again.

"I said, it's okay." Hagrid glanced at Kyle and said stubbornly, "Sit down and have a glass of water."

"It's okay? Forget it." Ron said, "Look at that look on your face."

They obviously didn’t believe Hagrid’s words and continued to question him.

Hagrid glanced at Kyle for help, but received only a helpless look.

Harry and the others were notoriously curious. Even if he helped fool him this time, they would definitely find a way to get something out of Hagrid later.

So Kyle had no intention of helping. After giving the healing medicine to Hagrid, he got up and left.

The weather is getting colder and colder, and everyone prefers to huddle in the warm common room. Even though it is the weekend, the venue is very cold and no one can be seen.

Of course, if it snows, that's a different story. After all, it's still fun to have a snowball fight with friends.

Kyle braved the cold wind and made his way back to the Hufflepuff common room.

The moment the barrel door was pushed open, several people sitting at the door shivered subconsciously. Fortunately, the warm fireplace quickly dissipated the cold air brought in.

Cedric was playing wizard chess with Mikel. When he looked up and saw Kyle, he immediately waved his hand and asked:

 “Where were you just now?”

“The Forbidden Forest,” Kyle said, “Hagrid is back.”

“Hagrid is back?” Cedric said in surprise.

“Well, about an hour ago,” Kyle said. “If you go now, you can just have lunch there.”

“Then forget it.” Cedric shook his head repeatedly and said with a smile: “Hagrid’s taste is unacceptable to most people. I think it’s better to go after lunch.”

 “That’s okay too.”

“Want to play a game?” Cedric pointed to the wizard chess in front of him.

"Okay..." Kyle said, "But I have something else to do, so I'll probably have to come back later."

"good."

“See you later.” Kyle said and returned to the dormitory.

Mikel and Ryan were also in the lounge, and there was no one in the dormitory at this time.

This is just right.

Kyle walked to the table in front of the window and sat down, picked up the quill, and quickly wrote a letter.

"Laton..." Kyle shouted out the window.

A minute later, Raton reluctantly landed on the window sill, with his head facing outside and only his tail facing the dormitory. It was obvious that he was still angry with Kyle.

"Don't be angry." Kyle shook the envelope in his hand, "This is much more important than the letter just now. Only you can send it."

Laton fluttered the feathers on his wings and finally turned his head.

"This is for Newt. Other owls can't find it there." Kyle rubbed the fluffy feathers on Laton's head and said in a low voice: "Go back quickly and remember to bring the reply when the time comes."

Laton shouted proudly, then opened his mouth to hold the envelope, spread his wings and flew out.
