I Became A System

A guard was alarmed by the senior, reporting everything that almost happened inside the room.

They rushed to the room, noticing that just outside the room, an unconscious naked man was lying on the floor.

"There! That's the apprentice who dares to defile some of our patients." The doctor pointed.

Even though that he was a scholar, the company won't be lenient to offenders as it is a crime inside the compound to assault any females as they are almost all males inside.

The guard just shook before lifting the body. "What a trash. Just who did he tried to assault? Did he fight to the fullest enough to have his pet reddened?"

"No. The patient is asleep."

"Then who?"

"We don't know perhaps other apprentices." The doctor guessed, shrugging with his words.

"Hm… Who did she try to assault so that I can report it." 

The doctor didn't answer quickly as he doesn't know who that lady was. Then, an idea popped inside his mind. "The lady from the force. She's the only one who's out of consciousness." He answered.

The guard raised his eyebrow as he just heard something familiar. One of it was there was a story that a lady who was seen passed out that defeated a formidable foe. When someone tried to do a malicious act to her, they quickly received an impact on their balls.

"Ah!" The guard exclaimed as he just patched up things.

"Do you know her?" 

"No, I don't know her. But she was the topic of the story of those fighters about the lady with an invisible pet." He said.

"Invisible pet? That's rare, she has one?"

The guard nods. "It's the only explanation to this."

Eventually, the doctor believed the guard, also nodding in agreement with his words. "Indeed. It's possible. Anyways, please have this scum reported. I will go back to my job."

The guard nodded. "Sure."

They both walked in a different direction, the doctor went inside the room, seeing his patient finally changed her clothes.

He smiled before reaching the brewing area.

"Apprentice, have her body drink this medicine every day. It's energy medicine." He uttered while brewing the medicine.

"Yes. Senior, thank you for teaching me the recipe."

Earlier, when they went out to stock up their ingredient, her senior taught her the recipe for it. Even though they are apprentice, they must learn the recipe alone to be considered as talented and worth of the scholarship, though that was underhanded to have a senior teach her, it wasn't sinful enough to be big deal.

"Don't worry, I know that you are very talented. I just have you know the recipe so that I can rest. Hahaha."

The apprentice just snorted in suppressing her laugh. "As always, you are slack senior."

"Wow… you dare to insult me?"

"Of course not. I was just joking."

Sooner, a knock emerged from the other side of the door. The apprentice opened it, appearing in front of the door a young man in uniform. The same gear as those who participate in assault force in the cave.

"What can I do for you?" The apprentice bowed.

"Are you the one assigned with the girl from the force?"

She nodded.

"I am here to pass an order from the young master."

"Young master?" The apprentice almost froze from what she heard. Why would the young master send an order when she was just a nobody?

"Indeed. He said that if that lady awakes, immediately report to him. Here is the token to pass through the elite guards." The man handed out a fist-size token in yellow color.

As if still shocked, the apprentice accepted the token. "I will." Then the man left the doorway.

She breathed out in relief that it wasn't about her. She just gazed at the lady who was lying on the bed then thought, 'She must be someone important. Despite being a mercenary.' 

Not being ignorant, she doesn't know that the past garments of Ellena weren't from the group. Since she was just inside the carriage, she didn't witness the uniformity of the men in their armors, thought that Ellena was just a talented newcomer.

"What is it?" The doctor asked as soon he finished brewing.

"A fighter. He handed me this token to report when the lady woke up."

The doctor gasped after hearing it. "Then, that makes this lady important huh? Expected from a talented girl." He mumbled.

"So? Just do it." He said.

"I know. I'm just nervous, I'm going to report to the young master."

"Don't be stupid, apprentice. The young master doesn't meet with anyone, you'll just have to report it to his servant." The doctor uttered while placing the medicine on a desk.

The apprentice sighed in relief. Though she was thinking it's also unfortunate for her not to meet the young master up close, she was observing her well-being. What if she can't contain herself? It was just one of her thoughts.

"I-I see…"

"Okay. Then, I'll be going."

The apprentice nodded.

A moment later, the doctor left the room, only Ellena who was lying on the bed, and the apprentice.

She took the medicine in a glass then assisted Ellena's body to have her drink it. When she was done, she put back her body then emptied the glass from herbs.

"Who is this lady? Why is the young master wanting her to see?"

Although there's a little stinginess with her, she just shrugged it to forget.

Hours later, Ellena started twitching her eyes. Trying to open her eyes despite her energy limited.

When she finally woke up, she was greeted by the bright light and herb-like aroma.

She was confused at first, however, when she finally remembered her recklessness, she sighed in relief that she sees herself safe.

"You're finally awake huh? Care to explain why you did that?" Aaron speaks immediately while hovering above Ellena's head.

"Sighs… Sorry, I was just eager to defeat it since I was the one who started it." She said in a low voice.

"So for your self-satisfaction, huh? I am angry but I can forget it since you are safe now. But don't ever do it again. I still can't help you physically, why can't you wait to be reckless when I have my own physical body, no?" With an authoritative tone, Aaron pushed Ellena with heavy words.

"Sorry…"

"Tsk. Be thankful that the young man was righteous. He carried you back outside the forest."

"Where are we?"

"At the Phlabian City. We're finally here.." He said with a nonchalant voice, emphasizing that he still didn't forget her mistake.
