101 Bringing Mom and Dad to the Lake View Villa

Arlan, Luke, and Terrence discussed the housing project for over an hour.

At the end of their conversation, Luke couldn't help but stare at Arlan in admiration. He was only a few years older than his son, but Arlan's wealth already exceeded what he accumulated over several decades.

"To a pleasant cooperation." Arlan raised his wine glass while smiling at Luke and Terrence.

The father and son also raised their glasses and clinked glasses with him.

"Cheers!"

After signing some documents with them, Arlan went to Pegasus Hotel to check on his parents. When he arrived, the employees greeted him respectfully. They were already aware that the building was bought by Arlan and that he was their new boss.

"Greetings, Mr. Roa!"

Arlan smiled at them. Looking at everyone who was staring at him politely, he was filled with complicated emotions. This was power.

Arlan headed straight to his parents' unit and the person who opened the door for him was Zed.

Arlan smiled at her and said. "Hello! Are my parents here?"

Zed nodded her head and replied. "Yes, Mr. Roa. Madam and Sir are inside. Please come in."

When he entered the unit, Arlan saw that his parents were studying. They looked incredibly serious so he didn't disturb them. He took a seat and waited patiently at the side.

"Eh? Arlan, why didn't you tell us that you're coming?" Anaflor closed the book she was reading and walked towards her son. She then gave him a warm hug.

"Mom, what are you reading?" Arlan asked. In truth, he already knew what they were doing because he would get a daily report from Zed. According to her reports, his parents were studying business and they were even learning English from her.

Anaflor smiled as she replied. "We wanted to help you out in taking care of the building so we are learning the business from Zed. By next week, we will start working as Junior Managers."

Arlan was happy that they had already found their next goal. It wasn't good for them to stay cooped up in their unit so it wasn't bad for them to work as Junior Managers. "That's good."

"Dad, how do you feel now?" Arlan asked while looking at his father.

Lydio grinned as he flexed his muscles. "I feel much better now after I started taking my medicine. Zed also introduced us to a fitness expert and we are following a strict routine to maintain a healthy body. Look, our skin looks smoother now."

Arlan chatted with his parents about their recent activities and they excitedly told him their experiences.

"Mom, Dad... How about I take you to our mansion?" Arlan decided that it was time to show them the Lake View Villa. He had already taken care of Diego so they were temporarily safe.

His parents were stunned when they heard his words. "We have a mansion?" His father asked in disbelief.

Arlan chuckled as he nodded his head. "Of course! Your son is the owner of Pegasus Hotel, how could I not have my own mansion?"

Anaflor and Lydio couldn't contain their excitement. All their life, they had lived in a nipa hut. They didn't think that they would actually have the chance to live in a mansion.

"Let's go! I want to see it!" Lydio smiled from ear to ear as he grabbed his son's shoulder.

"Look at you acting like a kid." Anaflor chided, but she was also smiling in joy.

Arlan brought them to the villa. He also brought Zed and the Elliot siblings who were secretly protecting his parents.

When they arrived in the Royal Territory, his parents were dumbfounded as they stared at the big mansions and luxury villas.

"Son, the houses here look very expensive. Just how much money did you spend to buy a mansion here?" Anaflor asked while looking at her son. During the past few days, she noticed that there were changes in her son. She couldn't believe that he would change so much in just less than a month.

Arlan turned his head and saw his parents looking at him silently. He laughed as he gave them a casual reply. "I don't know. I think it was 500 million or something."

"500 million?!" Anaflor and Lydio almost jumped in shock when they heard this.

Arlan grinned when he saw the expression on their faces. He wondered what their reaction would be if they knew that it was in dollars...

Soon, they arrived in front of the mansion. The soldiers and the maids lined up and bowed at them as they greeted them.

"Greetings, Madam, Sir!"

Anaflor and Lydio were overwhelmed by the scene. There were more than twenty people bowing at them.

"Mom, Dad... They are our people. If you need anything, don't hesitate to tell them. They will give you anything you need." Arlan said to his parents who were still in a daze.

Arlan introduced all the employees to them including the soldiers. He found out that Winter wasn't there. 'That girl must be at the workshop...' He thought to himself.

He then brought his parents inside the mansion and gave them a tour.

"Is this really our house?" Lydio stood on the balcony of the mansion with a blank look on his face. Everything he had seen was like a dream.

Arlan grabbed his parents' shoulders and said. "That's right. This is our house..." He felt genuinely happy when he saw their excited faces. He could finally give back to them for all the sacrifices they made for him.

"Tomorrow, I'll bring you to a car shop. I'll let you choose any car you want to buy." Arlan added.

"You will buy a car for us?" Anaflor stared at him with wide eyes.

"Son, you don't have to waste your money for us. You must have used up a lot of your money to buy this mansion. We can just take a taxi or a bus." Lydio said.

"How is that possible? No taxi or bus could enter the territory so I have to get a car for you guys." And so, Arlan spent the night chatting happily with his parents.
