Chapter 4: Judgement!

There was one more important thing to do before the trial began.

Weiss waved the scepter that symbolized supremacy in his hand. In an instant, a man appeared on the bloodstained floor. It was the man who was swallowed by the monster. He was only devoured and did not die.

When the man appeared, he looked around in fear. When he realized that he was still alive, he could not help but fall to the ground. He thought of the monster that had devoured him and muttered.

“You can’t see me, you can’t see me.”

Then he retreated to the corner of the wall and hugged his head. Clearly, he was scared out of his wits.

“The trial begins now. Those who will be judged are not allowed to fabricate anything. You must explain everything in detail and not make any mistakes.”

Weiss stood up and a huge trial platform appeared in the church. He was high on the judge’s bench. Gabriel was the clerk, Michael was the prosecutor and all the angels were seated on the spectator benches. Then Weiss pointed to the first man to die and he instantly appeared in the trial room. His fear calmed for a moment and he looked at Weiss and flattered.

“Heavenly Father, I am truly blessed to be able to see you. Please allow me to pay my utmost respect to you.”

Weiss tapped his cane solemnly and said.

“There is no need to say anything unnecessary. Tell me your crimes one by one.”

“What crime could I have committed? My wife and I were originally well and happy but the daughter of the richest man fell for me and insisted that I be her husband.”

Weiss was speechless in his heart. This man still had the thought of getting lucky.

“That’s enough. Tell me the truth. If you continue to spout nonsense, I’ll let you taste the feeling of being crushed to pieces.”

Weiss was a little angry. This person still had the mood to spout nonsense at this point.

“Father, I was right except that I got the daughter of the richest man to look for me. I had to get the legal heir of the wealthiest man’s inheritance. I definitely couldn’t let go of such a good opportunity. That b*tch even wanted to get in my way. I had no choice but to kill her.”

Weiss was a little angry in his heart. This person was really lazy. He was originally from a small and well-off family but for the so-called glory and wealth, he didn’t hesitate to kill his wife. What a perfect example of laziness. He really had to give this person an unforgettable punishment.

“Don’t you like money and want to get it without having to work for it? Just stay here and count your life’s money until you die of old age!”

When he finished, the man appeared in a corner of the church with red notes in his eyes. The man could only count them one by one and his hands were cramped from counting them.

Next was the miner. When the miner appeared in the conservatory, his mouth was still stuffed with food, his stomach nearly burst, Weiss had to wave his cane to turn the miner back into his original form. The miner remained unmoved except for tears at the corners of his eyes.

He knelt down and said loudly.

“Great Father, I’m guilty. My brothers gave their lives to me so that I could survive in the mine. I’m not human. I watched them die one by one with tears in my eyes. I watched them smile as they gave their flesh and blood to me so that I could take care of their loved ones. My death is not worthy of pity but I only wish to revive them. I’m willing to use my life to repay this.”

Weiss understood. That made sense. How could an ordinary man still be dressed in such shabby clothes after receiving a large sum of money? It was highly possible that he had taken money and given it to the family of the miners who had lost their life in the accident. Furthermore, the miner’s words were incoherent in the confessional. It was obvious that someone had tampered with it. He looked at the priest who looked flustered but still muttered, “This is impossible, this is impossible.”

Weiss ignored him. He finally understood. The priest had asked the miner to overlook the details, possibly to confuse him so that he couldn’t determine who the innocent was. But how did the priest know the details of his mission? Besides, he was the master of the dream. How could anyone cross him to influence the people in the dream?

Moreover, do the innocent also need to be guilty? Weiss was puzzled but he still had to continue acting.

“There’s no way to revive them. As for you, you deserve better. Take their wills and live well.”

Immediately after, it was the woman. She was still pulling out her tongue. After Weiss stopped her, she knelt on the ground and cried while shouting,

“I’m innocent, Father. My husband and I have been together since we were young and our family had arranged for us to be married. Why would he treat me like that? He’s just looking at that vixen’s good looks and bullying me because I’m old and weak…”

“Enough. Tell me the truth. What did the two of them do?”

Weiss was a little annoyed. He had already told them to tell the truth but this group of people was still avoiding the truth and trying to deceive him, hoping to escape. Although everyone wanted to be a survivor when facing punishment, how many people could actually escape?

“They exchanged a few words and laughed together. I even saw them eating together. Oh right, and the love letter that woman gave my husband.”

From the words of the middle-aged woman, Weiss roughly understood what kind of story this was. The husband fell in love with a female teacher from the same school and he didn’t like his wife who didn’t have anything in common with him. After the wife discovered this, she went to the school to complain, causing the female teacher to be expelled. However, the woman still wasn’t appeased. Soon, everyone started saying the female teacher destroyed her family, causing the female teacher to commit suicide in depression. The husband also couldn’t tolerate his wife’s possessiveness, so he also committed suicide.

Weiss held his forehead. This was really more ridiculous than the other. A mentally deranged husband and an unreasonable wife. The wife had forced the mistress to death and the husband’s cowardly character had suddenly erupted. Yet this woman still didn’t know where she had gone wrong?

He somewhat understood the source of this dream. It was a real dream formed from human desires and the woman’s sin came from “jealousy,” so he said to the woman, “Since you’re so possessive, I’ll let you be with your husband forever.”

After saying that, the woman saw something extremely terrifying and fell to the ground. At the same time, she kept retreating and kept saying, “Don’t come over, Ace. I didn’t hurt you. Don’t come over.”

The woman’s insides crumbled. Weiss knew she’d seen her dead husband coming after her, driving her into a pit of despair.

The soldier still had a righteous look on his face. Weiss didn’t say anything else and asked.

“You’re a deserter, aren’t you?”

The soldier’s face changed instantly and became rather gloomy. Weiss ignored him and continued.

“You abandoned your comrades on the battlefield and survived alone. If I’m not wrong, you’re the one who kidnapped the family members of the soldiers, right? Because you’re the only one who has a reason to get close to the family members of the soldiers. No matter if it’s the elderly, children or the wife of your comrades, as long as you say that you’re their comrade or the only survivor, they will definitely let down their guard. Also, not only are you cowardly, you’re also a traitor. For the sake of your own survival, not only can you abandon your country but you can also betray your comrades who died for you.”

The soldier’s face turned darker and darker. His face was so dark that blood seemed to be dripping from it.

As the master of the Dream World, Weiss could not only invade the Dream World but more importantly, he could read a person’s past Dream World. And in the Dream World of the soldier, most of them were fragments of himself escaping from the battlefield and trading with other countries at the port.

As a result, Weiss did not want to listen to his nonsense. Cowardly, traitorous, at the end of the day, it was still laziness. The selfish genes wanted to live.

“Go to the Ice Hell to repent for your crimes.”

Weiss’s tone was harsh but he felt relieved in his heart. In any country, treason was always the greatest punishment. If there was no country, how could there be anyone?

The soldiers seemed to know their fate and just kept cursing Weiss. The Archangels on both sides were furious and wanted to punish him personally but Weiss shook his head.

The soldier threw himself into the eternal hell of ice. In the blink of an eye, the soldier turned into an ice sculpture and was buried in the snowstorm.
