Reiji needed to acquire 3 new skills and in that way, he will get his 3rd mission.

Although he only has 165 SPs at the moment, this number was acquired not too long ago.

It means that reaching a thousand may not take a year and it would only take for a few months if he just aimed to complete every mission that the guide was giving him.

After all, there weren't any expirations in the missions he previously had and he was only completing them along with his journey with Diether. He wasn't too focused on completing the mission and only treating it as a bonus as he helps the kid grow up into a fine man.

It was mostly because the students he left in his dojo has the same age as Diether.

Anyway, as he looks at the list, he wasn't disheartened at the expensive prices of the more interesting skills as he was looking forward to the day that he'll acquire them...

He thought for a moment before he decided to check some of the less expensive skills.

[ Cleanse ]

- It will cleanse any dirt that touches you. It can also remove any abnormal status of your wielder. Increasing the level will make the Cleanse stronger!

- Cooldown: 10 minutes

Price: 50 SP

"This is quite good..."

Not only will it help himself from getting clean, but it will also assist his wielder...

Although his senses have greatly changed, he can still see the dust and dirt that were clinging unto him. It couldn't be helped since he was always together with Diether as he was training and hitting everywhere.

This Cleanse would give him a peace of mind...

However, he was curious whether it was the same with his Sword Kinesis... Apparently, that particular skill uses his mental strength to make him float. It wasn't as extravagant as the Heal and Rejuvenation skill that would deduct his Skill Point for every use.

"Guide, this Cleanse would only consume my mental strength, I presume?"

"Well... I can't measure my mental strength... At the very least, I don't think that it will be a burden..."

Reiji nodded his non-existent head as he selected two more skills.

[ Durability Enhancement ]

- A sturdy weapon is a dependable weapon. The skill will greatly improve the form's durability. Every increase would give an additional 10 points of durability!

Price: 10 SP

Reiji's current max durability was at 125 though it decreased by 2 due to the previous battle. That 2 wasn't much, but because of this, he can now gauge the sturdiness of his current form.

Thankfully, it increased from the original 100 due to the two missions he received where he needed to bath on blood.

"This is really good... Though it seems that I can only increase the level up to 20 times."

He muttered that last part after realizing its limitation. It was actually quite high already considering that the Cleanse skill only has a maximum of 10 levels.

Anyway, he remembers the other Arcana he encountered.

It was the Laguna Sword owned by the late Graham Frost. It was an Epic-Level Arcana that has a maximum of 190 on its Durability...

Reiji grinned in his mind after comparing his current status. It seems that his potential for improvement was truly high. He may be able to contend against some legendary or mythic level Arcanas in the near future.

"Alright... This will be the second..."

As soon as he purchased this skill, his Durability improved to 150!

It has greatly increased as expected. A total of 25 points was not a small number considering that every increase of its level from now on would only give him 10 points each.

The guide answered dutifully. However, Reiji himself wasn't sure how Diether would do it. He guessed that the young man would just probably pour his energy on the shinai for the repairing process...

Otherwise, it would be difficult for Diether if a meticulous control of Spiritual Energy was required to repair him.

The third skill he selected was Weight Overload. The price was also 10 SP and its main function was to control the shinai's weight.

That's right. This skill will allow Reiji to adjust his weight whether to decrease or increase it. The most important function of this was the "Overload" ability that was also part of the skill itself.

Although the cost was quite concerning, it doesn't matter that much considering that this could potentially make him or his wielder capable of defeating stronger opponents.

Reiji suddenly imagined increasing the weight of clothes or weapons of the enemy during their battle. It would be too extravagant but it may help in the future, considering that Diether has so many weaknesses at the moment.
