Chapter 80

Elysia raised her magic again, and their views changed.

Her raised her lips when she made sure she was in the bedroom. As the place changed because she was lying on the desk, Cassian momentarily supported her body, which was trembling.

“It’s a bit strange to use magic in this state.”

“…It’s dangerous!”

“I’m barely holding back. Who told you to interrupt?”

He grinned as he opened her lips with his fingers.

It had always been like this. She was always beyond what he thought. He didn’t think she’d be able to pour her magic into the ring while their bodies overlapped.

“These days… Uhk—I’ve been staying in the mansion… Haa.”

Wrapping her arms around his neck and hugging him slightly as she got up from her bed., Cassian supported Elysia’s slightly lifted back.

“I changed it… so I can use all the magic…”

It meant that she had been tinkering with all the defensive magics engraved on the magic stones scattered throughout the mansion.

“Good job.”

“Uhh… Cassian, now I—”

Her arm holding his neck tightened, and Cassian groaned. As His body trembled finely, a thick heat spread through Elysia.

When he heard that she had succeeded in using black magic, Ramote’s expression was horrified.

Elysia, who was looking at the papers pertaining to the mansion budget in her office, smiled awkwardly as she glanced at Ramote. Meanwhile, Cassian, after putting his desk in the direction facing her, raised the corners of his mouth to a smirk.

“I heard you had an accident.”

“What do you mean by accident. And, since you already scolded me, don’t be too much like that.”

Saying so, she glanced at Cassian. When their eyes met, she rolled her eyes again. To say that he scolded her, she could feel his blatant gaze, but she tried to ignore it.

“What is it about?”

She waved her palm as if he didn’t have to.

Elysia then got her body up and walked over to the table in the center of the office. While Cassian sat at the head, she faced Ramote on the sofa. Seeing her approaching, Ramote took off his glasses and placed them on the table, pressing tightly against his eyes, and asked.

“What do you mean by success?”

“Um. Would you like to see it first?”

She thought it was quicker to show than use words. It was the first time since she succeeded in black magic when she was with Cassian. He reacted very sensitively, and since she was stuck with him, there was no time to use magic again.

As magic flowed down her fingers, the smell of fishy blood spread over it.

Cassian raised his body and pulled her into his arms, who had made her magic into a large fireball.

“Gasp.”

“Whoo… Elysia.”

“It’s still something you can’t control.”

Contrary to what she was trying to make: a small ember, Elysia, who almost burned her hair, turned towards Cassian and Ramote.

Ramote shook his head and spoke.

“You’re doing it in a hurry without a Magic Tower to consult… Who else knows?”

“Only Old Man and my husband know.”

Still, he had a troubled face.

“What’s the problem? Is it black magic…? After all, Old Man also cooperated.”

“I’m just saying I was worried. Is there anything different or anything like that?”

“I don’t think there is anything. Ah… I haven’t done this yet.”

She glanced at Cassian, who was holding her, and raised her magic again. Both him and Ramote, who felt her power, stared at her with a surprised expression as if they were doing something else. Elysia, who had created a large fireball again, leaned her body back.

Two men reacted at the same time, and Elysia fluttered her eyelashes before opening her lips calmly.

“I can do both black magic and just magic.”

Ramote gazed at Elysia as if it were ridiculous. At the same time, Cassian also had an expression that he had not expected at all.

“Actually, if you use black magic, you can’t use normal magic, so I thought it would be something different, but there is no such thing.”

“You are great.”

Ramote looked at Cassian as he was about to say more and bit his lip.

“You can just say it comfortably. He knows everything now.”

Seeing his reaction, Elysia embraced Cassian’s arm and glanced at him.

“Everything…?”

“Yes. Everything”

“I’m dying of happiness.”

Raising the corners of her lips, she picked up the pen to get back to the point. After drawing on the paper a magic circle that gently ignited embers, she continued her explanation to Ramote.

“There was no big difference. Draw only the common parts from the existing materials, and engrave the magic you want.”

Ramote frowned upon hearing that she was just copying what Peloit was doing.

“It’s strange…”

“What?”

“Attempts like this have been made in the past at the Magic tower, but it failed.”

“Huh?”

They failed…

Moments after, Ramote picked up a piece of paper on which Elysia had drawn her magic circle and raised his glasses.

“I was surprised that you succeeded in researching magic.”

“Why are you saying that again?”

“I have no idea what made it so successful. Take a good look.”

At that, he breathed his magic into her magic circle and dripped blood.

When Elysia succeeded, she thought it would be no big deal, so she gasped and took in her breath. However, there was no change in the piece of paper. Not a single spark ignited, and the magic circle didn’t absorb blood…

She immediately reached out her hand and dropped her own blood.

Whoop.

Startled by the fireball high enough to the ceiling, Der howled and tore the pieces of paper. Elysia tilted her head and glanced at the charred ceiling. She then hugged Der, who wept and scratched the tabletop with its nails.

“Why did it succeed?”

“I don’t know, it’s black magic.”

Snapping her fingers to open the office window, she created a mass of water in the air.

“Why is it both black magic and just magic? Don’t you know this too? It’s frustrating.”

There was no one who could pinpoint and confirm why she could use both magic and black magic, so only vague guesses come and go. Elysia was slowly starting to get annoyed with the current situation. There should be one or two things that flow like this.

“The rules of this world may not apply to you.”

It was a cautious tone.

At those words, Elysia raised the corners of her lips crookedly. Again… As if she had been confirmed that she shouldn’t be in this world.

As Cassian stared at Ramote with a sharp gaze, he held Elysia’s hand to signify that it was okay. It was because what he said really wasn’t wrong.

“Just think you are strong enough to ignore such a rule.”

“Old Man is great. You say pretty things that you don’t usually say.”

Elysia gazed at Cassian while stroking Der, who was digging into her arms.

“Is Peloit completely gone?”

“…Maybe.”

As she tilted her eyebrows, she could see Cassian raise his eyebrows and answered slowly. There was a feeling of a blade standing in his voice.

“Since I checked it out, there was something I need to check.”

After glancing at the ceiling, Remote shook his head, and got up.

Seeing that Old Man left quickly, Cassian’s sharp reaction must have been the cause. Shortly, Der jumped out of her arms and followed Ramote. When she looked at Der’s back, who followed him better than expected, Elysia wanted to follow but her wrist was pulled.

Before the door could even close, he pulled her in.

“Don’t call that name.”

She didn’t understand her situation at the sudden remark, so she just blinked and she looked at him.

“…Who? Your name?”

Cassian wrapped around her waist and pulled her closer. The two bodies collide without a gap.

“No.”

“Then…?”

Elysia recalled the conversations a while ago, one by one.

“Maybe, Pelo—Uhp.”

After the brief but intense kiss, he wrapped her cheeks.

It was only a name. It wasn’t even a nickname. Well, of course, Peloit had nothing to say about Cassian’s reaction. It was because of the potion, though he kissed her right in front of his nose.

“You look happy.”

“…Is it noticable?”

“Very.”

“It’s not that good.”

He shouldn’t laugh because it must have gone beyond simple jealousy. There was no reaction when she called Ryan’s name, so only with Peloit could she see Cassian’s reaction like this.

Elysia changed her position and held the corner of her lips that kept rising up.

“I won’t.”

She then slightly tilted her head and opened her mouth.

“Revos…?”

Cassian raised an eyebrow.

“If you want to arouse jealousy, it’s the wrong choice.”

“I’m sorry. No, I was just wondering if it was just calling Pel…No, the Second Prince.”

Saying she was sorry, Elysia kissed him lightly. At that, Cassian opened his mouth, stroking her back softly.

“That’s your old lover’s name.”

“Ah, that’s why…”

Call someone else’s name other than Revos.

She could see Cassian’s cool smile.

“Still, it’s a bit hard to say that the Crown Prince is my lover…. It’s just holding hands.”

After all, Cassian was the first to have this body. Still, his face seemed unwilling to loosen up, so she flopped on the sofa. There was heat in Cassian’s eyes as he straightened his arms around her and bowed his body. His lips ran down her neck.

Thinking about it, she was considering whether they should go to the bedroom because they might stay in the office again, although Cassian opened his mouth.

With a face dripping with regrets, he also pulled out the hand that was stroking her chest.

“Cassian…?”

“I have to go.”

“Huh? Is today the day to go to the Imperial Palace?”

“I have to go to the temple.”

Thinking that she knew why, Elysia nodded her head.

It looked like he was going to meet Arbel. Come to think of it, it seemed that he was negotiating something regarding Lumiere’s personal life.

“Can’t you just tell him to come here?”

Cassian grinned and got up and cleaned up her messy outfit. Even though she swung his hand, he stubbornly straightened her skirt and opened his mouth.

“I’m going to see what the prison looks like in the temple.”

“Ah… Then, you must go by yourself.”
