( Rudra's POV )

' It's lonely being at the top….. ' Rudra thought melancholically as he watched Jake spar with Kartikeya.

The kids were growing up fine and their skills in combat were getting sharper and sharper every passing day.

The combat between Jake and Kartikeya was always intense and a great duel to observe overall, however, as Rudra watched the two kids smile and battle with vigour he wondered as to when he last felt the rush of battle?

Rudra loved wars but he loved fighting strong opponents even more!

The rush of adrenaline that he got from fighting behemoths that were stronger than himself and beating them through superior strategy and perfect execution were the moments in life that he missed the most.

It wasn't just his strength that had become unfathomable as even if he restricted himself to tier6 and tried to take on one of the kids, the poor children were no match for his battle instincts and experience.

The last time that he felt the rush of the battle was when he fought and defeated Thor to avenge the death of Karna.

Ever since his return, whether it was his fight against Lucifer or his fight against Dracula, the current ' Strongest ' in the universe were a far cry below him.

But his melancholic mood wasn't because he felt like he had become too strong for his own good, No, in fact it was the opposite.

Rudra acknowledged his own hardwork and struggle to become the strongest in the universe, to reach the peak of power and have the ability to destroy any opponent he desired.

Given a choice, he would be the stronger fighter than the underdog in any fight, however, it just got him wondering as to how the ' Perfect Warrior ' felt in the celestial realm.

The seed of knowledge revealed to him the names and tendencies of some of the celestials, however, to him it seemed like every other celestial was more or less just vying for the spot of the perfect warrior.

The perfect warrior had never lost a single battle, his strength was said to be unfathomable.

He was the master of any and all techniques imaginable to man-kind and had no weaknesses in his fighting style.

As Rudra imagined someday ascending and facing that man in battle he couldn't help but feel his blood boil with excitement again as he sounded like a challenge that only the GREATEST mastermind to ever live could surpass.

Given enough time, Rudra had the confidence to defeat anyone in battle and he truly believed that the perfect warrior would be no different.

Although the road to the celestial realm was long and there was still much left to accomplish within the controlled universe for Rudra, in his heart he had already started to thirst for this eventual battle.

A battle that would give him the chance to prove himself as the greatest warrior ever born in the universe!

( Meanwhile Asiva and Anna )

The longer Asiva and Anna talked about the current political situation and how the women should prepare for these tumultuous times, the more intense the atmosphere of the tea party became.

Some women took notes, while some appeared to be astonished at the wisdom of the Bloodfall ladies.

The number of people who suspected Asiva and Anna of manipulating facts to better suit their own needs were close to 0 as the smartest individual in the room, the wife of the deceased Julian Caesar seemed to have silently agreed to their strategy for she too hated the king for killing her husband.

With her silent support, Anna and Asiva managed to drive 3 key points home.

1)They managed to highlight the importance of stocking up on potions and other essentials before the war broke out which could be used to make a profit or be supplied to the army during tumultuous times to save a lot of money.

They explained how the prices were sure to go up once the king's declaration was made public and the counteroffensive was under full swing.

Although this information was 100% true, with the Bloodfall clan being the second biggest supplier behind the Velter clan for potions, if these noble women convinced their husbands to purchase items in bulk they would also make a killing over the increase in demand.

2) They managed to create a negative image of Regus Aurelius amongst the royal women without explicitly painting him in a negative light.

They talked using parallels and used political manipulation to mastery as they gave examples like-

' I heard that sir Fallon Twilight was ready to lay down his life rather than retreating during the dimensional war. What a brave man he is…. '

As soon as Asiva would say this and the other women would nod and agree, Anna would reply by saying

' But sometimes retreating is also necessary, I mean, if it wasn't, would the king have fled Dracula? ' she would ask innocently as the combination of these two questions made one wonder if Regus Aurelius was a coward?

It was dirty politics at its finest, however, during the two hours tea party the noble women of the Bloodfall clan managed to achieve wonders for their husband.

Not only did they make sure to incite rebellious feelings and resentment amongst the other women towards Regus Aurelius, they also paved the way for them to flock towards Max once it would be revealed that he was now a tier7 warrior.

The winds of the new vampire order were changing and the Dracula crisis had gifted Max the rare opportunity to change the status quo and take over more and more power from Regus Aurelius.

Yes it was ambitious and dangerous, however, even Asiva and Anna realised that the time was now ripe to start making moves on the throne.

Gone were the days where they feared Regus Aurelius and the might of Ixtal, as if their husband became a tier7 warrior even if Regus Aurelius hated him, he would not be able to get rid of him or deny his status within the vampire society.
