My Journey to Godhood as a Caterpillar

As the aura approached, Yun Jhin finally saw Qinghe's mother, she was a middle-aged woman that had her blonde hair made in two buns behind her back, she had wrinkles around her eyes and her forehead, showing that she was indeed quite old, if Yun Jhin estimated she should be more than 200,000 years old considering the average life span of the phoenix race.

The woman gave out a gentle smile towards her daughters but then she narrowed her eyes as she looked at him and asked Qinghe:

"So this is your second man? While he might be a little better than your previous one from what I heard, he still isn't someone who you can put before Prince Hanzen."

Qinghe pouted making her fat cheeks roll a few times, her mother knew that she tried to get herself out of this arranged marriage but she wouldn't have any of it!

The middle-aged woman grabbed Qinghe by her big and flabby arms and decided to leave with her ignoring Yun Jhin in the process, after all, why would she care what would a male say in this situation?

Qinghe almost started crying as tears dripped slowly to her cheeks as she shouted:

"NO I DON'T WANT TO MARRY PRINCE HANZEN, WHY CAN HE HAVE MULTIPLE WIVES AS A MALE! I DON'T WANT TO BE A CONCUBINE!"

Yun Jhin found the thing pretty ironic and also hypocritical coming from their society but he watched on as the middle-aged woman eyes softened a bit and she said:

"You might not know but males can mate an unlimited amount of times during their lives and the prince's bloodline is very thick, thus her highness announced that she would let the prince become a breeding stallion for her closest friends so our progenitors can have the imperial blood flowing through them, do you understand? This is for the good of the planet and our family, we would become imperials!"

Qinghe frowned as she watched her mother and asked:

"Why can't elder sister go?"

This was a good question that was answered by Nattaha:

"While the prince is indeed a breeding stallion, he was quite pampered by the Empress during his youth due to his highly concentrated bloodline, he fancies young women and as you know I'm around 4 thousand years old you are also more talented than me, even though I'm considered young by normal standards, I'm not young enough."

She sighed as she remembered one other bit of information and she said:

"Also the prince likes women that haven't been with a lot of mates, considering you only had two and the relationship between our mother and her highness you must have realized why you have been chosen by mother. You should also know that I don't really remember the number of mates I had up till now. The prince might be a breeding stallion per se, but the Empress won't force him to mate with women he doesn't like or there is a chance he might withhold his seed from being passed on."

Qinghe knew what they meant, while she was young she wasn't dumb and her mother taught her a little bit of politics here and there just in case something like this would happen.

But Qinghe didn't like that one little bit even though she understood the situation, even since she was born she had been taught that males are inferior to females and that she could play with them however she liked. This made her a little bit conceited until she had her first man and realized that males are the same as females, she became a little bit more caring and thought about what the opposite sex would want or not.

Unfortunately for her, her mother already sealed the deal with the Empress, and considering how she was growing attached to her first male, her mother decided to dispose of him quietly.

Qinghe started to struggle out of her mother's arms but it was quite futile considering her mother was an expert at the sage realm, her mother frowned as he looked at Yun Jhin and her eyes hardened, it seemed that she thought that Yun Jhin must have said some things to her daughter which made him a disposable target!

Yun Jhin recognized the look in her eyes, he had it countless times when he was in a position of power of any kind.

He fell to his knees as he kowtowed to her mother and said:

"Grand elder, please spare this little one, I will make sure to keep my distance from Qinghe, I just hope that she will end up alright and I don't want to drag her down from becoming the consort of the high first prince!"

Qinghe became disappointed in Yun Jhin's lack of spine, but she also understood him, her mother would certainly kill him if he fought for her and he only became her male due to the benefits that came with it.

Qinghe looked at her mother in the eyes and didn't know what to say she shook her head and decided to follow her mother to the capital, there was nothing she could do in this situation and all she could do was give birth to one or two children if she was unlucky before she was free to do whatever she wanted.

However, she still had some lingering feelings for Yun Jhin as she waved her hand at him sadly, both her mother and Qinghe then disappeared.

Nattaha looked Yun Jhin up and down as she licked her lips sensually and approached him at a speed that he could barely recognize, her hands were moving around his body as she undressed him.

If Qinghe was here she would feel quite betrayed, she didn't even reach the capital yet and her sister was making a move on her ex-man already?

Seeing that Yun Jhin wasn't struggling or saying anything made Nattaha lose interest in him as he pushed him away and said:

"You truly lack a spine, why don't you struggle? You already don't see yourself as my sister's man anymore?"

Yun Jhin got up from the ground and said while shaking his head:

"If you want to take me what can I do? You are a female and I'm a male since your sister was taken away by her highness the grand elder I won't be her man anymore even if I shouted to the skies or did anything else, considering that I'm free I don't mind becoming your man."

Nattaha laughed as she looked at Yun Jhin and made him look in her eyes as she told him:

"Aren't you an opportunistic fellow? I like males like you but would your stamina endure?"

Nattha took his clothes off and hers as well as she jumped him.

1 month, 2 months, 3 months, 4 months, 5 months, 6 months. After half a year of nonstop dual cultivation, even Yun Jhin could feel that his yang essence was getting exhausted, fortunately for him he had enough techniques to make himself last longer and because Nattaha wasn't in the god realm, she couldn't exhaust his yang essence before he could recover it.

So he hanged on for 6 months before Nattaha got bored of him and decided to throw him out of the pavilion saying that he would be her man from now on and that he should come when she invites him in the future.

Yun Jhin looked to be gaunt and skinny on the surface after dual-cultivating for such a long while, but on the inside, he was almost the same as before, there was also the fact he reached the 3rd stage of refinement on the 7th jewel with the constant dual-cultivation.

Yun Jhin gave out a breath that contained some extra yin energy and his gaunt form returned to his normal self as he decided to take a stroll in the lower male's quarters.

After he took the stroll the male's quarters were 50 men short and Yun Jhin was 60 bodies closer to finishing his quest.

Yun Jhin found himself back in his building as he looked to the window, he sighed, this was too slow for him, he wanted to get rid of his current identity and maybe go on a rampage to finish the requirements of the phoenix planet but he still needed to lay low, this was quite the annoying thing for him. And it all stemmed from his low cultivation base, while the resources he got from becoming Nattaha's man were better than when he was Qinghe's he still felt that they were lacking, and he was sure they weren't giving him the best things because he was a male, the truly good stuff would be reserved for the female disciples.

Yun Jhin knew a few things about the phoenix planet but he wasn't sure if they were still up to date, he needed to get some information and buy a map to make sure things were as he knew, fortunately as he now had the identity of the head disciple's man he could easily get those.

He used his connections with the few males he knew in the upper quarters and got what he needed without having to pay a spirit stone, after all, they were fearing him and now that he got higher in rank they wanted to curry favor with him to increase their standing. Even the top 1 male would have to give him some face considering he was the man of the head disciple who could become the sect mistress in the future.

Grand Elders were only a little bit weaker than the sect mistress and they were the pillars of the sect, so it wasn't wrong to say that any child of the grand elders could achieve the sect mistress position if they were talented enough, and Nattaha was.

As Yun Jhin looked over the map of the phoenix planet and the information the others gathered it seemed some of the things he knew changed by quite a lot, but some places didn't change.

He had a small smile on his face when he closed the map and burned it into cinders, he knew where he had to go to increase his cultivation base, it was a location with something akin to the jade dragon pool energy from the azure dragon planet.

The location was monopolized by the imperial family but considering his connections with Qinghe he could do something about it and maybe get to the Fiery Phoenix Pool to further his cultivation, by his calculations with it he should be able to increase his cultivation by 5 if not 6 levels and even upgrade his clothes and Halberd, up till now he didn't find an opponent who had to make him use it, but considering the location he was in, it only made sense he didn't have to use it. He was a man that would rather make his way out with words instead of violence. Violence was a last resort strategy for him, but that didn't mean he was bad at it.

Yun Jhin waited for a few more months to let thing settle down after he killed 50 more males, he thought that he might have been able to clear all of them but it seemed that while the females looked down on males quite a lot, they also treasured them in their own strange way just like a possession that they couldn't live without, but could also somewhat replace at the same time, it was strange for others but Yun Jhin kind of understood them. Empathy was a thing one needed to infiltrate and Yun Jhin mastered this emotion, he just controlled it to his advantage and didn't act on it.

To leave the sect he had to apply to Nattaha but considering their current close relationship, Nattaha only narrowed her eyes at him and asked him some questions before she let him leave.

Yun Jhin hopped that after his current plan completed he wouldn't have to come back here, maybe after this he could even move on to the next planet if things went well!
