My Journey to Godhood as a Caterpillar

Things went quickly the following days Yun Jhin could go and meet with princess Long Mumu, due to his heroic act and hard work for the empire, it wasn't known what kind of act he had done and why he wanted his reward to be meeting the princess.

The second prince looked at Yun Jhin as he changed his outfit to a yukata for the 'date' with the princess, his hair was done in a ponytail at his back and he gave off a suave air that could entrance younger women like the princess.

The second prince clapped a few times as he said:

"If I liked men I would have been entranced by you as well, good job, my sister like's pretty boys that dress like this, you have a high chance to get in her bed, but getting her heart? That's another thing that I cannot say."

Yun Jhin shook his head as he said:

"We will see your highness."

Susang looked Yun Jhin up and down and narrowed his eyes, then he escorted him to meet princess Mumu inside the capital and then into the main palace. There they took a few winding pathways as they entered the inner garden of the palace where Long Mumu was waiting with her back to them. She wore a short blue dress that accentuated her curves and a white hair clip that kept her hair tied up.

She walked forward and her eyes shined as she looked at Yun Jhin and she said:

"General Susang you can leave us alone, go back to my second brother, I will see what this gentleman has to talk with me."

Yun Jhin smiled at Mumu gently as he held her hand kissed it with the same amount of gentleness as his smile as he said:

"Your beauty is more mystifying at a closer proximity princess Mumu, ever since I entered the capital I have dreamed of meeting you."

Mumu blushed, most of the men she met would directly court her to the bedroom and they wouldn't act like gentlemen to her, after all, most of them didn't care about her and they wanted to use her to get into the government. Yun Jhin has seen countless such cases and knew if he gave her some attention and listened to her problems she would easily fall to him and believe whatever he said to her, after all, she has been heartbroken many times.

Mumu shily blushed at the man's actions, even though she was experienced in bed she was a child at the matters of the heart such as romance, and Yun Jhin's words and actions touched her scared heart in a way no other did.

Yun Jhin walked closer to her as he said:

"Why don't you tell me how your days have been your highness? I'm a good listener and I might be able to share some of your burdens."

Long Mumu started to talk about her daily activities such as the normal stuff, cultivating, reading, and other normal things that a girl of her age would do, Yun Jhin listened and said:

"Your life is pretty normal your highness, ah you couldn' even think you are a royal but just a normal girl."

At this comment, she shook her head as she started to talk about the political meetings she had to attend from time to time how she was used as a token of exchange between nobles and how even her brother forsaken her in exchange for benefits.

Yun Jhin hugged her and she started to cry in his Yukata, he let her fully exert all of her sadness before he used his hands to clean her face and he cupped it slowly as he approached it and said:

"This is something you can easily solve, just become stronger, stronger than your brother, and stronger than anyone who wants to hurt you!"

Mumu chuckled sadly as she looked down and she chuckled the hems of her skirt as she said:

"Easier said than done Sisheng, my cultivation talent isn't that good, I'm just at the 2nd stage of the heavenly realm, I know you are a ki cultivating expert, but I don't think you can help me with anything regarding cultivation."

Yun Jhin shook his head as he said:

"I have a cultivation technique perfectly suitable for your body, why don't you try it."

Mumu embraced Yun Jhin as she said:

Yun Jhin's smile was as kind as before but if you would observe it there was something hidden in it, he patted her back as he said:

"I heard you have got your hands on some death water? I know how to increase the speed of your cultivation even further, I know how to concoct a pill with the death water that should surely get you to the 7th stage of the heavenly realm in a few months!"

The princess's eyes widened at my words and she immediately shouted for a maid to get her the death water and a cauldron. Yun Jhin smiled at her as he waited for the maid when the maid came with the death water and the cauldron Yun Jhin continued:

"The other materials for the pill, I have them with me, you don't need to send for anything else."

The princess looked down at her feet, she knew Yun Jhin was a recruit in the army and that he didn't have much money, the materials would be very expensive for him, she shook her head as she said:

"I have an idea after you concoct the pill you can take the rest of the death water as payment,"

Yun Jhin gasped as he said:

"Your highness, do you know how expensive the death water is? I couldn't, after all, they are just some complementary material's with a few months of hard work I can just make the cost of them back, I'm just a lowly newly recruit, I might become a general as I have broken through the ki cultivating realm and get even higher pay, I don't want to you to get in trouble!"

The princess shook her head stubbornly as she said with a finality in her tone:

"We don't have many pill refiners, take this as payment for refining the pill!"

Yun Jhin wanted to say something else but a mischievous smile appeared on the girl's face as she said:

"This is an order from your princess, soldier so you better obey!"

Yun Jhin shook his head as he started the concocting session and put on an act making it look like it was very hard for him to concoct the pill and that he almost failed through the concoction multiple times!

As she watched him struggle to concoct the pill she realized that Yun Jhin didn't lie, if the pill was that hard to concoct that meant the results will be genuine!

Yun Jhin smiled as he scratched the back of his hand and gave the princess the pill, it was deep blue, he told her that she just could eat it now and see the effects.

She ate the pill and her cultivation immediately saw a boost in the wind ki gathering area, as she could gather wind ki faster and purify her soul. She squealed as she hugged him then gave him a deep kiss.

Yun Jhin reciprocated the kiss and she was ready to throw her clothes off when he stopped her and said:

"Princess, I'm not after your body, I just thought you were an interesting woman when I first saw you, after all, we don't know each other that well, it's too early to jump to such actions."

This was the first time Mumu found a man that wasn't interested in sex, her eyes sparkled as she looked at Yun Jhin and thought that she finally found her 'prince in shining armor' then she stopped what she was doing and Yun Jhin told her:

"With this death water I could achieve another breakthrough in my techniques, I recommend you go and cultivate as well Mumu, the pill's effects are temporary and you should hurry up and use them as long as you can."

Mumu nodded her head as she giggled and skipped away from him, a maid then escorted him out of the palace where he met with Susang, he looked him up and down and then asked:

"Any luck?"

Yun Jhin waved the container that was resealed and Susang's eyes widened, the proud Mumu was conquered that easily? Susang wanted to bow to Yun Jhin and ask him to teach him his ways, he was still a virgin up to till this day due to his ugly looks, not even peasant women wanted to be with him, and he wasn't such a beast that he would force himself onto an unwilling woman.

Yun Jhin shook his head as he heard the man's question and said:

"Your appearance is a big deterrence, I can teach you a technique that would fix your scars."

The man clapped his hands as he threw one arm over Yun Jhin's shoulder and said:

"Aren't you a good brother, thanks for helping me out, after all, from now on we will be both generals under the second prince, it seems you stabilized yourself in the 1st stage of the ki cultivating realm."

Yun Jhin nodded his head as he made the man take his arm from his shoulder and said:

"I will teach you the technique before I enter closed-door cultivation to refine this death water and the other materials, let's go back to the dragon eating sect grounds."

Susang nodded his head as he left with Yun Jhin in tow, they were back into the hall as they reported to the second prince, the second prince was thoroughly surprised that Yun Jhin could steal his sister's heart but then he shook his head and decided to not bother with it. Even though Yun Jhin didn't get her to be on the right minister's side yet.

Yun Jhin said that it will be a slow endeavor so he didn't bother to question him.

After Yun Jhin taught the face altering technique to Susang he entered his room and closed it. He laid down some formations to make sure no one would be eavesdropping or spying on him, then his main body left through Sun Sisheng's nose as he looked at all the materials that were in front of him.

The next caterpillar form would reach a rank of 100! it was a qualitative increase due to all of the materials he got his hands on, he would be able to reach the max rank quickly as his host body was now at the ki cultivating stage.

As he ate the materials on the ground the system finally appeared after a long while:

Yun Jhin smiled as he returned to Sun Sisheng's cranium and started his sleep, from here on he would truly be able to start his plan on taking over the empire!
