My Journey to Godhood as a Caterpillar

The woman frowned as she looked down at Yun Jhin's body and felt the aura that was raging on his body then she dashed directly at him ready to slash him in two with her cleaver, Yun Jhin closed his eyes as his arms muscles bulged up and he caught the cleaver with his hands, due to his strengthened body as a living undead the cleaver couldn't cut them off even though he started bleeding a little.

The girl frowned as Yun Jhin headbutted her, drops of blood started to fall from her nose and she let go of her cleaver, Yun Jhin looked at the cleaver for a moment and then immediately let a slash go forward to the woman who was now clutching her nose in pain.

Mono planted his fist inside the elder's stomach as he coughed up some bile and then backed off from him, he looked at the girl and shouted:

"Yu'er run away, that guy isn't normal, look at his aura!"

Yu'er gritted her teeth as she looked at her cleaver and then at the elder and started running away, Yun Jhin scoffed as he looked at her back and jumped above the horse and ran after her.

The elder backed off slowly into the forest as he tried to run away as they failed their ambush, but suddenly Mono planted his feet on the ground as he put his hands together and channeled a ball of lightning that he threw at the elder like a baseball.

The lightning ball hit him directly in the head knocking him over and putting a dent in the man's head. Mono shook his head, he was still alive but unconscious, he wouldn't kill him yet as he wanted to extract some information from him.

Yun Jhin used the drops of blood that dripped from the woman to easily identify where she went, even though she hid her aura Yun Jhin could still feel her faint life aura through the drops of blood she left behind, he clutched the cleaver and suddenly threw it behind him, a gasp could be heard as the woman was almost decapitated by the cleaver, she tried to unpray it from the tree that was stuck in.

Yun Jhin knew that it was a strong artifact so she wanted to get it back, that was what he hoped for, the woman also seemed to lack in battle experience so she was going to be good nutrients for him.

As Yun Jhin ran towards her he suddenly turned transparent as he disappeared from her view she started panicking as she looked around and then she shouted:

"Don't get near me! I'm the daughter of the sect master of the Heavenly Tortoise sect! He is a 2nd stage King Realm expert!"

Suddenly behind her, an arm entered her back and came out of her chest with a still-beating heart in hand. Yun Jhin sneered loudly as he looked at her and he whispered in her ear:

"Think that you can attack me and get away with it? Why would I care your father is the sect master, you came to a battlefield and you should expect death!"

Yun Jhin took his arm back as her body dropped down, he immediately unhinged his jaw like a deadly predator and swallowed the body whole, he almost collapsed as he fell to his knees and started panting hard, one of his arms almost popped like a balloon from the stress of the forbidden technique.

He frowned as he started to devour her nutrients and ki, healing himself and pushing his cultivation base further, he would need to find a good place where he could fully heal himself and breakthrough to the second stage of the ki cultivating realm. Her body was full of unrefined helpful materials, it seemed she grew like a sheltered flower, fed with the best cultivation materials.

Yun Jhin laughed as he got up from his kneeling position and looked at the cleaver, he couldn't use it or the sect mater would realize that he was the one who killed his daughter, but if he left it behind he could use divination to know what happened. Yun Jhin took the cleaver and then started burrowing in the ground as he borrowed further and further he reached the place where magma existed.

He threw the cleaver down inside and then left, it took him a few hours but he made sure no one could trace the woman's death back to him. Yun Jhin sighed as he continued his way towards the battlefield, he met midway with Mono and the others as they were questioning the elder.

The elder's eyes widened visibly as he looked at Yun Jhin's blood-soaked form, but then he shook his head as he didn't think his young lady would die at Yun Jhin's hands, he looked at Mono with a sneer as he said:

"Kill me but I won't tell you anything, you peasant piece of trash from the Long Empire!"

Mono was ready to slap him again when Yun Jhin came forward and put a hand on his shoulder as he said:

"I have some techniques that could make him talk, what do you say, general?"

Mono Sukehiro looked Yun Jhin up and down and asked slowly:

"Are you sure you are up to it? It seems you have lost that woman and got injured as well."

Yun Jhin shook his head as he said:

"I have enough energy to take care of him, he is tied up by your ki and he can't even use his ki, he will scream like a pig soon enough."

Mono knew that Yun Jhin cultivated a special corpse technique as the letter from the second prince indicated that, so his eyes didn't change when he saw Yun Jhin's hand transform into a wretched claw, the others however gasped and looked at Yun Jhin with strange eyes.

Yun Jhin claw was then engulfed in purple energy, it was poisonous yin ki from his undead body, it was one of the few active abilities that the yin body gave, Yun Jhin smiled at the old man as his claw didn't even slap him, he just put it slowly on the man's chest then retracted it.

The man laughed as he looked at Yun Jhin and said:

"Was that a love tap you kid? What do you think that will do to me? Trash!"

Yun Jhin didn't say anything as he continued to smile at him and started to count down:

"5, 4, 3, 2..."

The man frowned as he said quickly:

"What are you counting down for stupid? ugh!"

He started to roll on the ground as his restrainments didn't stop him from doing that, he started banging his head on the ground till it bleeds severely. He then started to shout till his throat almost gave out on him, all of the remaining soldiers and generals' eyes wandered between the tortured man and Yun Jhin as they thought that they would never incur his wrath. Mono narrowed his eyes but didn't say anything as he waited.

After a while, the poison finally wore off under Yun Jhin's command as he was ready to put another batch on the man, the elder cried as hot tears started to pour out of his eyes as he said:

"No more please, please no more!", he tried to huddle into a ball as he moved back and forth like a lunatic, the pain inflicted was on his body as well as his soul.

Yun Jhin walked forward to him and was ready to pat him a second time when he shouted:

"You want information?? I can give you all the information, please no more!"

His eyes were dilated and it seemed that if he took another dose of the poison he would die from the pain excess, Yun Jhin looked at Mono then nodded his head while saying:

"It's ok you can ask him whatever you want now, I will have to go and rest for a bit, as you can see I'm quite wounded, tell me when we are ready to move to the battlefield."

Mono started to question the man as Yun Jhin went to rest under a tree, most of the other people were looking at him with fear in their eyes as they avoided him, but that was something Yun Jhin wanted so he was extremely pleased with his act.

Mono started questioning the elder and the answers he gave him made him pale as he shouted:

"We need to quickly get to the battlefield, a powerhouse on the same level as me is already there and wreaking havoc on our troops! Yun Jhin, we cannot wait any more, I know you are wounded but I will give you a very important mission, please get rid of this elder for us, he is useless right now as he told us everything he knows."

He got back on his horse and whipped it as he made the others follow him away, Yun Jhin smiled devilishly as he looked the receding figures of the horses and then at the old man that was tied on the ground as he approached him slowly.

The old man looked at Yun Jhin and he could feel the man's aura suffocate him, it felt just like a beast ready to devour, no it wasn't a beast, it was more of a demon or devil to him!

Yun Jhin shook his head as he looked down at the old man's lone form and he said:

"What should I do with you... I'm already three-quarters full, I haven't digested her yet *sigh* I cannot let you die either, it would just be a waste of a perfectly fine body at the 4th stage of the ki cultivating realm."

The old man trembled as he heard Yun Jhin's voice that looked just like the shouts of demons and devils in his ears, he looked down at his pants only to see them wet, Yun Jhin frowned as he looked at the old man and said:

"Can't handle your bowels anymore old man?"

The old man naturally nodded his head as fast as he could thinking that Yun Jhin would become disgusted with him but suddenly his head flew into the air as he was decapitated, his corpse was burnt to a crispy brown level with his ki and Yun Jhin bowed as he said:

"Thanks for the meal."

He ate the man just like one would do a rotisserie chicken and frowned after he finished:

"I lost quite a bit of ki from burning him but atleast I didn't waste a lot if I killed him normally his ki would have dissipated way faster, *sigh* whatever let's try to break through, even though I cannot reach the third stage I should be able to stabilize myself easily into the second stage and reach the middle parts of it."

Yun Jhin went back to the same tree that he sat under before and stood unmoving cross-legged. His ki started to increase as he was ready for another breakthrough, his body was devouring the nutrients and ki from the woman and the elder at a frightening pace as his ki continuously increasing breaking through his cultivation barriers.

His host body was ready for another breakthrough due to this lucky encounter!
