My Journey to Godhood as a Caterpillar

Yun Jhin frowned inside as he looked at Long Mumu's figure, she was crying in her hands with her brother behind her, then her brother told her something that made her look forward, her eyes started sparkling as she saw the dragon caterpillar and she ran towards it with an excited look on her face. It has been quite a long time, did princess Mumu missed him so much that she was grieving even now? Well it was normal as he was quite charming when he wanted to.

Yun Jhin wanted to burn her to a crisp but the crown prince shook his head as he pointed at his hand, Yun Jhin stopped charging his breath seemingly looking at the prince's palm and nodding his head at him. The crown prince then said:

"Mumu, he is my friend, but he is wary of strangers so please do not aggravate him."

The princess nodded her head slowly as her eyes sparkled while she looked at the big dragon caterpillar, she petted his big body as she took a better look at him, Yun Jhin just stood there on his side as he waited for the draconic herbs to make their way to him, this was why he created organizations in his previous lives, for them to gather resources for him, as long as he was important enough to the organization he joined he would also get resources for free.

It wasn't that Yun Jhin was lazy but some type of resources would take too much time to gather, time that he could use by cultivating instead, it would be may more effective to cultivate and wait for the resources instead of just searching for them.

While Yun Jhin was waiting, the princess kept herself preoccupied with his cute chubby body, even though he looked awe-inspiring, the way he sat on the ground right now just made him seem like a dog that wanted belly rubs, the princess stood with him for a few hours before she left, even though she still seemed rather sad her complexion took a turn for the better.

The crown prince coughed as he looked at the dragon caterpillar and he said:

"My father said that he will get the draconic herbs to you in a short while, you should cultivate until then, I have some work to do as I was reinstated as the crown prince and I don't have time to accompany you, I will visit you later with my father."

Yun Jhin nodded at him and closed his eyes, the crown prince left the courtyard that was now Yun Jhin's, Yun Jhin looked around before he started cultivating, he knew that he was observed by the crown prince so he had to act up.

While he cultivated he thought on how to find hell's portal, as he was now a decent enough caterpillar, and he would become a stronger one later as long as his plan in the Long Empire was fulfilled, he needed to know where the entrance to hell was!

Demons and devil are dwelling in hell, demons were of lower class and devil's of the higher class, he needed to become a devilish caterpillar to reach the peak of his talent, however, to do that he would need to reach the 6th or 7th layer of hell to be able to eat so many devils, that would need him to be around the middle stages of the Emperor realm.

Cultivating became harder as one reached the king realm, even now at the ki cultivating realm, after he got those draconic herbs there might be a chance for him to break through the second stage, and to break through further he would need more and more resources, the body of a dragon caterpillar required countless nutrition amounts, even though he could get this nutrition from eating humans they would need to be of the higher realm than he was.

After all, a dragon caterpillar battle power was around 4-5 times stronger than a human's, it was additional battle power not multiplying one, after all, the dragon caterpillar wasn' a true dragon.

If Yun Jhin was at the 1st stage he could battle 4th 5th and even 6th stage cultivators with his current body, however, that would mean only 1 of each, if there were more they could give him trouble.

Fortunately for Yun Jhin, he lived near the top of the lower continents, which meant there was a big lack of experts around, there weren't even Emperor sects around, let's not talk about Sagely or Godly sects.

The planet Yun Jhin lived in was one of the many in his universe, he pretty much reincarnated on every liveable planet there was, and he knew most of them like the palm of his hand, he was currently on the Draconic planet Longo, that's why there were dragon stones around such lowly places, the planet itself housed true dragons. It was one of the 4 strongest planets in the universe, the other being the Phoenix Planet Yuro, The Dark Tortoise Planet Ruko, and the White Tiger Planet Suro.

They were all equal in power and they had their special planetary formation as they were in alliance with each other, even though they were the strongest they were in the top ten and were around the 5th to 9th ranks.

Yun Jhin knew to get to hell he would need to analyze all of the planets of the universe and find the location of the entrance, or well just find a devil and get the location from him, however, most devil's would rather self destruct than leak the entrance, after all, their ruler's didn't like unwanted guests, most of them couldn't leave the 9th layer of hell without the hellish will of the place letting them.

Most of the Godly Patriarchs of hell, were considered to be the hell's children and hell wouldn't let them leave the 9th layer unless the place itself was in peril, and such a thing didn't happen for millions of years.

While Yun Jhin thought on how to get to hell, time passed by quickly, he cultivated while he thought as he stabilized his cultivation in the 1st stage of the ki cultivating realm and made way for his breakthrough with the help of the draconic herbs.

While Yun Jhin was thinking about the future and making plans, so was the Long family!

Long Huang looked at his son as he squinted his eyes at him and then he laughed:

"Good job fooling that dragon caterpillar, as long as he goes against that clause you put in the contract he would be our slave, good very good!"

The crown prince smiled bashfully at his father's compliment then he said:

"It's ok, imperial father, however, the dragon caterpillar isn't at its full potential yet, we should go and give him those draconic herbs so they could stimulate his bloodline, he might even breakthrough!"

Long Huang caressed his chin as he thought about it if the dragon caterpillar broke through they would have a pawn equal to the 6th level of the ki cultivating stage which would be very useful for them, after all, they lost quite a bit of manpower during the attack of the heavenly turtle sect and they needed to create a new elite squad, but that would take tens of years or even hundreds!

Suddenly Long Huang eye's started to sparkle with deep red color as he said:

"I remembered something, a dragon caterpillar sense of talent is way higher than a human's with its help we could go around the empire and recruit the most talented youths!"

The crown prince nodded at his father and waited for further instructions, Long Huang left the throne room as he went to treasury and came out with a few herbs that took the form of the head of a dragon, they exuded pure draconic ki of a deep imperial yellow color.

The duo left the throne room and went directly to Yun Jhin's courtyard where they saw him cultivating, the duo didn't stop him as they watched him cultivate, deep blue ki engulfed his body as he opened his mouth to devour it little by little, both of them took inspiration from his cultivating technique and waited till he finished.

Yun Jhin knew the duo came inside his courtyard but kept ignoring them, seemingly as if he was in deep cultivation, the duo waited for Yun Jhin to finish staying in the courtyard for almost 20 days, Yun Jhin suddenly woke up as his black eyes looked at directly at the duo.

The emperor and his progeny nodded at Yun Jhin, with their observation of how Yun Jhin cultivated they made great harvests and they would be able to increase their cultivation speed by quite a high deal.

Long Huang unsealed the draconic herbs and presented them to Yun Jhin, Yun Jhin opened his big mouth and said:

"Leave them near and you can go, It will take me around 2 months to fully refine these herbs, I hope that I won't be disturbed during that time."

The emperor laughed and left with his son in tow, Yun Jhin narrowed his eyes inwardly as he looked at the leaving duo and made sure to investigate if they tampered with the herbs, to his surprise the herbs were clean!

Yun Jhin opened his mouth as he blew fire on the herbs transforming them into liquid! Then he absorbed the liquid in his mouth as he slowly used the flames to harden the liquid, from time to time he would spit out some impurities, Yun Jhin was using his body as a cauldron to refine a draconic pill!

This was a technique that he didn't use before, after all, most of his reincarnations were humans or humanoid forms, only certain cultivation beasts would be able to use this technique of refining pills in the body.

This was Yun Jhin's first reincarnation as a pure cultivation beast, while the pill was forming in his body the Emperor and his son observed the courtyard using formations, they both were surprised inwardly as they saw Yun Jhin's way of refining pills and they said in unison:

"Such a way to refine pills... get the imperial refiners here and let them observe!"

Quickly some old men who wore robes with pills engravings etched on them came and kowtowed to the imperial duo as they waited for instructions, the Emperor told them to observe Yun Jhin's way of refining and the old men squad shook their head in unison as they said the same thing:

"There is no way for a human to refine like this your imperial majesty."

"Yes your highness, it seems this a cultivation beast special way of refining pills."

"Your highness, we humans have frail bodies compared to beasts, this beast seems especially sturdy and I could guess not even many of his kind could employ such a special technique."

The duo furrowed their brows as they looked at the old men and dismissed them, Yun Jhin laughed inside as his soul willpower observed their attempt at replicating his technique, he showed this unique talent so he could get even more benefits, after all, who would kill the goose who could lay golden eggs?

This was his way to cement his position in the empire as best as he could, in the future even if the emperor had to choose between his son and Yun Jhin, he might choose Yun Jhin instead!

After a long while of refining, Yun Jhin finished refining the pill and he vomited a pile of slag that he burnt to cinders, then a round yellow pill appeared in front of him it looked flawless and spotless as dragon howls could be heard from it.

It was a high-quality dragon herb pill, it was good at tempering the body and ki of the user and even king realm experts at the 1st stage could use it, however, it was useless for those at the 2nd stage of cultivation and above.

The emperor sighed as he looked at the pill and lamented:

"Oh, if we could have found this dragon caterpillar earlier, he might have been able to make me a pill and I wouldn't have been injured by the patriarch of the Heavenly Turtle sect."

Yun Jhin then ate the pill as it dissolved in his mouth and currents of herbal draconic energy started to seep into his body, his new organs started to cheer as they got strengthened by the pill.

Yun Jhin closed his eyes as he entered into closed-door cultivation, the duo looked away as they already knew how Yun Jhin cultivated and closed the formation, they had things to do and prepare while Yun Jhin was cultivating.
