"That's strange. You have come earlier than expected." A majestic voice sounded in the hall which was feminine.

"Who are you? Where are you hiding?"

He raised his eyes and his eyebrows moved left and right to find the source of the unknown voice.

"That's not what you should ask, Little Rio. But I'll answer you anyway and free you from your doubts so we can have a good talk." The gentle voice sounded again and he realized it was coming from the front.

"I'm what you call God in your world and I'm right in front of you but only my spiritual body is present here. I know what you will be asking so I'm going to answer your next question.

"My child, Equipping a weapon to slay the demons and to protect the innocent is a virtuous deed. It's not a sin as long as you're doing good karma even if you're following a path that makes you fight your own race. Most Humans are vile creatures so don't be burdened by this. Rio had many questions going through his mind. It took a few explanations from the goddess to answer all his doubts as they finally subsided.

She continued, "Your task is to take down the Monarch beast in the land of asura. There is only one Monarch beast in each stage. Whenever you reach the peak of your level, you will have to defeat the Monarch beast of that stage, or else you will be stuck on the same level forever.

Once you reach the peak of your current stage you will have your answer on how to find the Monarch beast. Do you understand?"

"Why do you have to be so unfair to punish me with such a curse and what's this 'Monarch' beast?" Rio asked in annoyance.

"As the name explains itself, it's the Monarch of all the beasts on each stage, the one who acquires these beasts will be given a reward at the end of life. Since I cherish you my child more than others, I have put a condition on your growth so it pushes you to break past your limits.

Your current self would blame me for this unfairness but your future self would understand the affection behind my doings." Goddess said in a motherly tone.

"Okay..." He said coldly.

"I have two gifts for you, Little Rio. You will receive it after you go through your sealed memories. But before that I want you to remember one crucial thing...

Have faith in those who love you. Especially the girls who can make a greater sacrifice for you, don't hurt them with your coldness. If you don't accept them then you would lose this battle against destiny.

After she completed her words, a white light enveloped Rio as he felt his forehead getting kissed and a big hug embracing him as if he was a small kid.

He felt his mind relax and cry out in joy. His eyes became moist for unknown reasons as the goddess hugged him for dozens of seconds.

His surrounding changed and he exited the white hall where the goddess was present.
