A wide grin plastered on his face while looking over his attributes. Endurance was doubled, one of the most important attributes in the game. It showed the fruits of his labor in the last two days.

"Hehe… If I post my status's screenshot on the forum, it will be a hit for sure," he mused by himself. Another way to cheer himself despite being stuck on level 1.

Without a doubt, the attributes were abnormal for a level 1 character. And if he put the thread behind the paywall, it should not be an issue for him to learn ten thousand to a hundred thousand Yuan from a single post.

"Let's not do that. I don't want to be targeted by others…" That was merely his random thought, he was not doing that for real.

He closed the window status and checked the time. It was nine-thirty in the morning. He had been online for six and half hours.

"Let's log out and work out for real," Shen dragged the exhausted character to the house before he logged out.

He came out of the gaming pod and changed into sportswear. By the time he finished working out, it was already ten-thirty.

Shen ordered the food before he went to wash his body. Five minutes after he finished bathing, he received a message that his food had arrived. He swiftly opened the apartment door.

He was surprised to see someone else in front of his door. It was not the delivery but Sister Meimei. She was holding the box delivery with red eyes, "What are…"

Before he could finish his words, Yu Mei cut in, "Shen, are you avoiding me?" Her voice was a little coarse.

Shen was not expecting to hear that from Sister Meimei, but then he shook his head, "No, what do you mean?"

It was just last night they met. How he had been avoiding her? That did not make any sense.

"Then why didn't you open your door? Why didn't you answer my call?" Her voice was sobbing that surprised Shen. She was crying as tears gathered in her eyes.

He panicked a little, "I did not…" before they attracted the neighbor, he pulled her into the apartment.

In the living room, Shen prepared the food for his lunch while Sister Meimei was sitting on the couch.

"So you are playing the game all this morning?" Yu Mei asked him, her eyes never left him once.

"Yes, I was in a crucial step so I cut off my phone connection from the gaming pod. My phone is still on the bed right," Shen sat on the floor as he poured the mapo tofu into the bowl of the rice he had prepared.

"Are you sure you don't want to eat with me, Sister Meimei?" Shen raised the bowl.

Yu Mei shook her head, "My mom is cooking for me for lunch and I will go back to my apartment afterward."

Shen scoped the rice that was coated in the red sauce from the mapo tofu and delivered it into his mouth while nodding his head.

"Shen!" Yu Mei called out and Shen looked at her.

"I am sorry!" She lowered her head as she said, "I don't know Tao Qiao is such a jerk, Shen. If I know, I will never bring him home."

Shen placed the bowl on the table and looked at her, there was hesitation but he opened his mouth, "So you don't hate me?"

This time, it was Yu Mei's turn to be flabbergasted, "Hate you? Why would I hate you?" Then she remembered her brother's words. Shuren did say that Shen might misunderstand her.

"Of course not! You are my brother, why would I hate my brother!" Yu Mei immediately tried to clear up the misunderstanding. Did she hate Shen? No! She had regarded him as her little brother.

Shen lowered her tense shoulders and placed his head on the table. He was visibly relieved to hear that directly from Sister Meimei's mouth.

"Why would you think that I hate you?" This confused her.

"You know, your boyfriend talked like that to me. And he said you talk a lot about me to him, so I think you might often complain about me with him so..." His words trailed off weakly.

"Nonsense! I talk about you a lot, that's indeed true. However, I talked about how you win your running competition…" Yu Mei blabbered about how proud she was.

She was talking about his prime time before the accident. From competition to another one.

Shen was not bothered by how Yu Mei talked about his past. She did not have ill-intention, at all.

"I am relieved…" Shen smiled as he continued eating his lunch. They chatted for another hour before Yu Mei left the apartment.

Shen waved his hand as Yu Mei entered the elevator. Closing his door, he rubbed his chest a few times. He was genuinely relieved that his misunderstandings were cleared.

He smiled by himself, silly. Shen went to the kitchen while humming his favorite song to do the dishes. After that, he was ready for more work out.

That was his daily, quite boring.

By the next day, Shen met with Yosu again. The old man gave him another new training. This time, it was weight lifting. A stone the size of his body, slightly bigger, was laying in front of his feet.

"Raise this stone above your head! Do it two hundred times daily!" After saying that, Yosu went back to the house.

Shen bent his body and picked up the stone. From the weight, it was around twenty kilos. About the same with the stone he carried on the back while running. It was just the stones were different in size.

Two hours later…

"195… 196… 197… 198… 199… 200…" Shen immediately threw the stone as he tried to massage his arm.

[You have worked your body to the limit!]

[Congratulations! You gained 2 Strength and 1 Endurance!]
