Chapter 51 - Noob's Way

Ming snickered at the little girl, but then he focused back on the topic, "Shen, do you know how to arrive at your village then? We can work together if I can get to your village."

Ming was hopeful about this. He also wanted the Legendary Class. Of course, he did not mind if Shen was not willing to share as well. Uncovering the hidden village was a big thing, after all.

Of course, Shen was more than willing if Ming could get to the village. He did not have to suffer from being lonely in the village with his friend.

"I have a theory about how I ended up there, but I am not sure myself. Well, it started with that Ba– Volt…" He almost said something inappropriate in front of the little girl, "You should already know that I jumped into God's Burial, right?"

Ming recalled the bullying video that went viral. Indeed, at the last moment, his friends jumped off the gorge. One of the famous sites in the game.

"I died from poison, but instead of respawning in Eternal City, I respawned in the village. That's how I ended up in that village. You can try to jump into God Burial or maybe the other famous sites," Shen shared his theory with Ming.

Aside from the God Burial, there were nine other famous gorges in the game. It was confirmed with people who shared the wonder of the game. Each site had different names, of course.

Ming fell into a silence. Deep inside, he wanted to try it out. No, without a doubt he would try it if he was still level 1. However, he had to consider things carefully. Especially when leveling up was so difficult in the game.

If he died and did not respawn in the hidden village, he would waste his experience. He would lose 50% of his experiences if he ended up dead. The punishment for dying was very harsh, especially when leveling up was so difficult.

"There is a famous site near my city. The Eternal Waterfall, but…" but the theory was not confirmed. Maybe there were other conditions that needed to be fulfilled to respawn in the hidden village. He did not want to waste his experience if the theory was wrong.

Eternal was another giant gorge but the crevice became the final destination of twenty-seven rivers hence it was named the Eternal Waterfall. The site was famous, everyday many players took selfies at the site.

"You can try that or you can come to Eternal Wind City. Or you can continue trying if you are afraid of losing your level," Shen was well aware of his best friend's circumstances.

For someone who played the game to earn money. Ming did not have time to waste his time experimenting with something uncertain. If they left far behind, it would take a long time before Ming could earn some bucks.

While the Legendary Class was very tempting, the risk was too big. Especially if he had to cross the city to Eternal Wind.

"I will pass, I can't afford to test it out," Ming shook his head. He would rather continue his progress.

"But Ming, I am serious about the training though. You should stop leveling up temporarily. The early training investment would pay off in the future, Ming. You should start it while you are still at a low level," Shen advised his best friend.

"I know, I will try the training you talked about once I log in," Ming nodded seriously. He was serious about the training if the training worked as Shen said.

"Hah, you are lucky that you are in the city. The city sells herbal remedies to recover your stamina and food to fill your hunger. I have to rest properly to recover my Stamina and look for fruits only to recover 80 Hunger," Shen shook his head while telling his friend about his experiences in the wild.

By how he was killed by a chicken with hands, a weird fish that had legs, invisible monsters, and more. They continued chatting while Lin Lin listened to the story from the side. She was attentive and interested in the story.

Soon they finished their meals. Ming had a big stomach as he finished three bowls while Shen only had one bowl.

"Thank you for coming," Lin Lin bowed her head toward the two after they paid the bills, "Please come again with more friends next time."

Ming pinched the little girl's cheeks before he ran out of the stall, "Ouch," Lin Lin rubbed her cheek and pouted, "I will forgive you once because you eat at my father's stall. You have to eat two more bowls next time!"

Shen merely smiled and rubbed her hair, "Goodbye, Lin Lin."

Ming was waiting for him outside the stall, "Shen, I am confused why don't you post about the training on the forum? You can earn a lot from that one post."

Shen grinned at his best friend, "Ming oh Ming, I don't want the secret to get revealed this early. We should take advantage of this so we can get ahead of the others. By the time everyone is already at a high level, the training will be less effective for them.

Of course, if you want to make money with the training secret on the forum, I don't mind. But I don't think we will earn a lot from that. The pro or the famous streamer may pay to read the post then they will make their own post to earn more money. Since they are pros or famous streamers, people will choose to pay for their posts instead of ours. We will not earn that much, Ming."

Shen expressed his thoughts, an additional reason why he did not want to post the training secret on the forum. The pros or the streamers would be more reliable in the other players' eyes than an unknown player like Ming or even a noob like himself.

"I like your plan. You are quite evil, Shen," Ming grinned in response. He also acknowledged why he or Shen should not post the secret on the forum.

It was a hot topic on the forum where a famous streamer reposting others' content to earn money. The streamers had their established fanbase who would open their post instead of the original post.

Many streamers were called out on the forum, but there was no clear TOS for reposting the post. After that, the two best friends parted ways. Ming went home and Shen walked home.

Shen did not waste his time. As soon as he got back, he drank another glass of water before he logged into the game.

It was still night in the game. Shen sat on the porch while gazing at the double moons in the sky. One was blue and the other one was yellow.

'I can now hunt the monster, but I should stop hunting for now. I have to maximize the gain from training before I continue with the hunt,' Shen was considering the things. Even though he got less from the training, he still gained a lot of stats,' Shen thought of his future plan.

"It's not like I am in a hurry or anything. Yes, training is my way!"
