It always ended badly…

Pupa knew it had no opinion over the matter. It was a tool created and used by Yunyu, so Pupa wanted to process its opinion based on the data it had.

Killing Master Han Ye and sealing him back into his realm, ultimately repeating the cycle.

It was the only logical answer Pupa had.

But since Yunyu wanted its true opinion as a friend, it would process an opinion based on emotion, something Pupa didn't have built-in.

"Yunyu, do you love him?" Pupa asked.

"I don't know, Pupa," Yunyu replied. "If you see love as me wanting to marry him and wanting to always be close to him, even bearing his baby, then I do love him. I love him as Han Ye Gege, and I also love him as God of Nothingness, Han Ye."

"I think back then when I was forced to live with him, my defense had crumbled slowly and I've actually accepted and loved him," Yunyu said. "But the cruel grudge in my heart cannot rest until I get my revenge."

"But if you think of love as forgiveness, then I don't think I can forgive."

"You still can't forgive him?" Pupa asked, quite surprised by the answer because it expected Yunyu to have shed his grudge.

"No, I can't forgive myself. I tortured him so cruelly. I don't know how to face him without feeling guilt," Yunyu replied. "I also don't know how to face my son…."

Yunyu's complicated answer gave no correct computation in Pupa's supercomputer's brain, so it asked another question;

"Then, do you hate him?"

"… No, I don't hate him, and I don't hate my son," Bai Yunyu replied. This time he replied shortly and concisely.

"Alright, I have computed your answers, and I think— my opinion as a friend is… to find a way to stop this cycle," Pupa explained. "The cycle repeats endlessly because you always stopped the explosion in his hand by killing him. So if you can find a way to stop him without killing him, it will eventually end the cycle."

"I see…" Yunyu stared at Han Ye and the dark sphere on his palm that kept getting bigger and bigger each second.

Their story ended badly because he was forced to kill his husband, even though he probably never wanted that to happen, or he would not fall into depression and grief after hurting Han Ye.

He was thinking of a way to stop Han Ye without hurting him, and his eyes widened when he found it.

Yunyu knew Han Ye could read his telepathy with Pupa, so he had to do it manually.

"Pupa, let me whisper something to you," Yunyu lowered his head and started whispering his plan to Pupa. Pupa was unresponsive for a few seconds but processing the probability.

"Okay, that is possible," Pupa replied. "But you only have one chance. We need not to fuck this up."

"I know. I am ready whenever you are," Yunyu nodded. He released Pupa, who started floating around Yunyu, and Bai Yunyu opened his palm to summon his sword.

Pupa and Yunyu stared at Han Ye, who was still laughing maniacally while gathering energy inside the ominous dark sphere.

"Han Ye!" Bai Yunyu called his husband's name, and Han Ye stopped laughing and stared at his wife with a creepy smile.

"What is it, wife?"

Bai Yunyu raised his sword and said, "I will stop you right here, right now!"

Han Ye scoffed, "So you choose to protect these useless worlds? Hah, as expected, nothing will change between us." Han Ye looked up to check his dark sphere. "This is such a short reunion between us, but I'm happy that I can see you again before we repeat the cycle."

Han Ye also summoned a sword in his free hand and pointed it in Bai Yunyu's direction.

"This might be the last time we will ever meet again, husband," Bai Yunyu said, raising his hand and pointing his sword against Han Ye. "But I will redeem myself for all the sin I've done."

Han Ye frowned. This wasn't the regular thing that Bai Shijue said. He usually just cursed Han Ye and stabbed him without mercy before sealing him back, "What do you mean?" He asked.

Bai Yunyu smiled and then shouted, "BAISHE! HELP ME!"

The calm water under the pavilion slowly ripped before the earth shook.

There was a giant torrent from the bottom of the lake, and a giant white snake appeared from the bottom of the lake.

Baishe had been chained around her head, making it hard for her to escape.

Bai Yunyu flew up and slashed all the chains, freeing his beloved white snake guardian.

"AT YOUR SERVICE, MASTER BAI!" Baishe said as she finally opened her mouth.

Bai Yunyu landed right on top of Baishe's head and commanded, "Help me chain my husband, make sure he doesn't move from that exact position."

"UNDERSTOOD!"

Baishe turned into a white chain and launched at Master Han Ye, still collecting dark energy for his sphere.

She locked him in place, with his right hand raised high to contain the dark sphere and his left hand aiming his sword to the front.

Bai Shijue teleported and landed in front of Han Ye.

Han Ye frowned at this chain. This was the first time Bai Shijue ever utilized Baishe for this, "What's this for, wife? Do you want to torture me before sealing me?"

"Well, that doesn't matter. I can't do anything with Baishe chaining me. I've gathered my power on that dark sphere," Han Ye said, hinting that he was basically powerless. He wouldn't pose a significant threat to his wife unless he released that giant dark sphere on top of their heads.

Bai Shijue smiled and shook his head, "I have no intention of torturing you."

"Really? I thought that's your way of revenge."

"Well, I have no grudge in my heart anymore," Bai Shijue replied. His smile becomes a little bitter. "I shouldn't have a grudge in the first place. I'm supposed to be the God of Purity and Prosperity."
