"2 Battleships and 8 Combat Carriers, that's a powerful force". Gorgon frowned as he looked at the Summoner who just returned from his space trip.

"That's powerful but I don't believe that this is their full force".

All the faces in the hall turned towards Legolas again. "Explain".

Legolas already thought up an explanation ahead of time. "Think about it, the fleet composition I just called is powerful but it stretches the line between the margin of their strength and ours too close".

"The Naks have always banked their invasion on their vastly superior strength in the form of their Battleships, their knowledge and technology".

"Do you really think they'll arrogantly decide to annihilate us through a campaign they call the Cataclysm without being absolutely sure of wiping us out?"

"To me, from what I've observed, they act only when they're sure of victory".

Gorgon rubbed his chin in thought.

Legolas continued. "In my opinion, they've not invaded to annihilate us yet not because they don't have the power to do so, but because they don't want to suffer too many losses in the process of doing so".

"That is why they decided to build a foundation in our planet".

"That way, the invasion and eventual cataclysm would be easier and less costly. They intend to beat us using our own resources".

"They want to wipe us off the fate of the universe with as little losses as possible. It sounds crazy but that's my observation and I believe it's true".

"This is why I don't believe what I saw is their overall force".

"They should have at least 2 more Battleships".

"This is the only way to validate their arrogance and confidence".

"You may be right". President Shanks finally remarked in a serious tone. "We need to be prepared for the worst-case scenario".

"That way, even if we're wrong, it would still be to our benefit".

After this, the talk was pretty straightforward. After thanking Legolas again for his invaluable job of spying on the enemies for them, they started finetuning President Shanks' plan for the planet for the next couple of years.

"In 5 years at most, 2 years preferably, we need to be prepared for the Cataclysm". President Shanks said as he looked at all of them.

"That is why I called all of you together. If we work together to unite and pull our collective strength against the enemies, I believe that we stand a chance".

After a few more talk, this meeting was finally drawing to a close but at the very end, Legolas raised another topic.

"After making the trip to their main base, I suddenly had a thought as I observed their powerful weapons of mass destruction".

"What if…, we make our own Battleships?"

"…"

"…"

"….."

Everyone looked speechlessly at him like he was a fool.

"Are you serious?" Gorgon laughed. "If that was possible, your really think we would have been stumped for so long despite centuries of preparations?"

"To create a working Battleship, a mechanic with a lot of knowledge is needed and like we all know, there are no mechanics in Planet Darvis".

Legolas remained calm. "What if I say I can make a mechanic available?"

"…!"

Now, they were not just speechless, they were alarmed.

Legolas took a deep breath to organize his thoughts before replying. "Originally, I'm not inclined to tell all of you about this but due to our current circumstances, I decided to let you in on a secret".

"Actually, I am a member of a secret galactic organization".

"…!" They were even more alarmed now.

"A secret galactic organization?" Shanks asked, slightly horrified and shocked.

"Yes".

"Since when?" This time, Gorgon displayed the most calm.

"Since 3 years ago".

Gorgon nodded, then he suddenly slumped on the chair where he sat as he heaved an exaggerated sigh of relief. "Woah man, that's a relief to my soul, at least I don't feel as inferior anymore".

He laughed. "If you're part of a secret galactic organization, it explains your rapid growth that is unprecedented in the history of this planet".

"But…" His expression turned cheeky. "How does it feel like?"

"Huh?"

"To be part of a secret organization".

Legolas coughed. "Ahem…, as you may well know, I'm not allowed to tell you more about my organization but what I can tell you is this, I may have means to contact mechanics from other planets who can help us in our preparations".

"You mean the legendary Mechanic Supers?"

"Yes". Legolas nodded with a smile.

"I don't know if they can build Battleships but it's worth a try".

This time, respect for him increased even more among the higher-ups.

'Those old geezers were surely impressed'. Legolas smiled.

The meeting didn't last much longer, after a few more general talks among them, they finally finalized the steps for their preparations for the cataclysm.

Since the leaders already concluded, their overall plans were simplified into simple tasks to those beneath them as preparations kicked off all across the planet.

The planet entered a state where everyone focused on efficiency.

It was like the cataclysm would start any moment.

While others did their preparations, Legolas was not idle as he used the time to contact John and Edgar while explaining his rational to them.

It was troublesome but he knew exactly what to lure their help.

"I will pay with Arcanite metal".

"We have tons of it".

"Deal!"

The days moved fast like the rolling pages of a book as preparation continued for a time and after a few weeks, it was time for the gray world gathering again.

Like usual, Legolas went to the gray world ahead of time.
