Moses was on his way to meet Sam, one of the directors he had worked with while in the industry. Sam has already explained Ian's identity over the phone, and this is the first time Moses has actually listened to Sam without rejecting her offer in the first two sentences. It's not a personal relationship, Moses always treats Sam like his own daughter, and Sam very much wants Moses to know how experienced he is and can start directing again.

"You tell me that every time you call me, I probably want to read the script, Sam," Moses said on the phone.

"Yes, I know. But this time it was different, Moses. This is from Ian, Ian Reina,

" "The new director?" Moses asked immediately.

"Yes, he's a director, but he's now looking for someone to direct his latest script. For some reason, he didn't direct it, perhaps in connection with his other plans. Either way, this could be a great opportunity. Because even you know how good his script is, and you're one of the best directors I've ever known. Please, can you agree to this?" Sam was silent for a moment. "I really want director Moses to shine before he retires, and Marles wants that too," Sam continued.

"Listen, Sam. The reason I've never been a director is not because something unfortunate has happened, it's because it's been a long time since I've found a screenwriter as good as Marles, and I really don't want to direct without a good script that I fancies, and we all know how desperate every production studio is to have me, it's just a matter of a good story. Moses himself explained.

"Yes, but you might want to read this script, it also has its own backstory. I'll send you a PDF right away, and you'll get the physical script as soon as you get here, so let's go meet him, I'm already a huge fan of him," Sam laughs.

And just like that, Moses was about to go to see Sam. Going out for something related to his work gave Moses a nostalgic thrill. Of course, in the past two years, he has also been to different sets and helped his friends from time to time. But his own plan sounded good to Moses. For starters, he tried to direct a film again anyway.

Moses was stuck in traffic, and he knew it would be stuck for a few more minutes. Because of the excitement in his heart, he picked up his phone and read the script from the beginning again. Unlike some novice screenwriters, Ian did a great job of executing his ideas. The dialogue seems to be on the spot and is completely relevant and perfect for each character. This is something that few newcomers to the industry do.

Sighing, he looked at the road ahead and saw that people were busy with different things. The driver on the left is playing with his phone, scrolling through social media and liking photos of strangers. The driver to his right was almost asleep, but still struggling to keep up. For a moment, he felt like the world was moving too fast. He sighed, smiled at himself, and thought to himself, he would be fine soon.

When he arrives at Ian's office with Sam, he is presented with a set of thick paper with the words "Green Book" written on the front page.

Moses touched his head, knowing that it would be great if the young director was also an amazing person.

"Mr. Moses and Ms. Sam, you can meet Mr. Ian now. Assistant Murphy said with a polite smile.

The two go in together and greet Mason and Ian, who are sitting in the conference room.

Looking at Ian, Moses' first impression was that he was a nice guy.

A big smile, a nice suit, and even judging by the way he shook hands, he was professional.

"I'm glad to see you here, sir. It's nice to finally meet you, how are you doing?" Mason started the conversation because Moses was such a great director two years ago.

"It's all an honor for me and I'm glad to see the young Reina like this. Two successful films, and so many more plans. I see such a bright future, Ian," Moses focused solely on Ian Rayner.

"Mason, how are you doing?" Then he asked Mason.

"Everything has been fine lately. Since Ian started running the studio, I didn't have much to do but help him. It was a relief and a miracle, and I must say that this visit of yours is also a miracle for all who know you," Mason said with a grateful smile.

"Haha, thank you. Your words are as gracious as ever, Mason. I remember meeting you at the awards show in 2015 and even then, you were a great person to work with," Moses said, which surprised Mason.

"I- I didn't expect you to remember. Henry is a big fan of you and the last film you directed, Friends Who Never Die. It's so popular that we've always wanted to see you in person and the awards ceremony was the perfect place. Think about it, we're finally working together on a project in such a small world," Mason said.

"There's a little life, Mason. I'd like to ask Ian a question, what is the main reason you wrote the Green Book?" Moses confronts Ian, who is watching the two of them reunite in their old good days.

"Hmm... The problem is, I'm accused of being actively racist, which I would never have dreamed of. But well, we all know how it is here, you will find one bad thing, competitors create a lot of rumors and prevent your success in any way possible. Because of this, I came up with the idea of a script. While I've proven them wrong, I don't think the story should be in vain. In fact, it's a huge contribution to the Black community," Ian said after his reasoning.

Sam watched them quietly, and she checked her email from time to time because she was busy with her career. If it weren't for Moses, given the busyness of the time, this little trip would not have been made.

"You're so thoughtful, kid. You don't mind if I call you a child, do you?" Moses asked with a smile. He smiled, the wrinkles on his face moving, but Moses still looked like an amiable old man.

"Absolutely

" "I actually like the idea." I haven't felt the excitement of working on a project for a long time, and I'm glad that it was just that. I read the script and I'll read it again from the newspaper here, because the newspaper does a better job than the screen. Ian, why don't you explain the whole story to me without your words? I'd love to hear your opinion, from the sole owner of the idea," Moses asked.

It is natural for the director to want to know the screenwriter's thoughts and original intentions, because the story can be understood clearly and thoroughly. At this moment, Moses is engrossed in the Green Book, ready to take over the project through any program. As for him, from the moment he stepped through Ian's door, his career began to make a comeback.

"Well, since you've read the script, I'll give you a brief summary. The Green Book dates back to 1962. The story will follow Dr. Shirley and Tony Lip, from two completely different worlds. Dr. Shirley Tang is a world-class African-American pianist who is about to return to where it all started when he toured the Deep South in 1962. In need of a driver and protection, Shirley recruited Tony Lip, a hard-line bodyguard for an Italian-American community in the Bronx. So the story is about the two men, despite their differences, who quickly developed an unexpected connection when faced with racism and danger during the apartheid era. In the story, they were given a pamphlet for visitors to use – the Black Motorist Green Book. So, before the endless margins of unfriendly territory, one chooses the difficult path for the sake of progress. The question is, can one person make a difference?"

Ian explained the whole story, with a short break in between, getting a nod and buzz from the two visitors and Mason. Even when explaining the plot, Ian felt it would make a good movie.

"And, if you're directing this, all of our profits go to charity, or we can agree on what you want. This is your wish because I really hope you will work hard for it, sir. Ian said and continues to respect an experienced director.

"Yes, kid. Come to think of it, you're not doing this project for money. Your script actually reminds me of Mars. How good and original his plot is, his writing... How fitting and eternal. It's actually something you're lucky for, Ian. I'm very happy to be working together on this," Moses said, securing the deal in his words.

"yes, what do you think of the charity part?" Ian asked.
