"Let me see… language skill, language skill."

The sea of words filled Lu Yi and Viel's entire view. As far as the eyes could see, there were letters and words, all pertaining to a certain skill that Viel could use… and there were many.

Viel and Lu Yi were currently trying to find a specific skill that would help Viel to instantly learn a language of another species, the both of them had no idea if they indeed have that kind of skill, but due to how many skills Rain had accumulated, there's bound to be somewhere here.

"Doesn't Jack have one? He was able to understand the people earlier."

"I do not think he has," Lu Yi shook her head, "I think he had just learned all of the languages in the universe throughout the billions of years he had lived."

"Sounds rough," Viel could only sigh from hearing Lu Yi's words, "If only that Mr. Voice is still here, I am sure he will find us a language skill."

"Didn't the three of you merge? You should be able to do whatever the System could do."

"I tried, but my mind felt like it would go kaboom when I did," Viel shook his unusually long hair in frustration, "How was Mr. Voice even manage to do all of that!?"

"Well, my working theory is that he was a machine, an artificial intelligence. So do not feel bad in not being able to copy what he was doing."

"A what now?"

"Don't think about it," Lu Yi let out a long and deep sigh, "You will learn soon, you have eternity ahead of you-- Ah, how about this!?"

Lu Yi did not finish her words as she suddenly grabbed a [Skill] that floated in front of her, [Rain: Language Analyzation]

"Eh, I guess it's better than nothing," Viel quickly grabbed the words from Lu Yi's hand. He then closed his eyes for a few seconds, causing the words to disintegrate.

"And that's done, let's--"

Viel was about to turn around, but as soon as he opened his eyes, he saw Lu Yi handing him another skill.

[Lu Yi: Body Rejuvination]

"..."

There was an undeniably excited expression on Lu Yi's face as she handed the Skill towards Viel. Viel, however, only shook his head and let out a sigh.

"We've already talked about this, Lu Yi. My eyes could never recover."

"Why are you still punishing yourself?" Lu Yi also let out a sigh as she dropped the Skill, "It has been years, you can control your powers now."

"I am not punishing myself. I told you, it can't be recovered!"

"You haven't even tried!"

"Miss Lu Yi!"

"Alright, alright," Lu Yi could only raise her hands in surrender as Viel raised his voice, "Sheesh, already more than one hundred years old and still acting like a child. You got what you need?"

"Yes," Viel slightly pouted from hearing Lu Yi's words, "Let's go."

Viel then quickly flew into the air, and the only thing Lu Yi could do was shake her head as she followed him. Once again, they did not know how long they have been flying, but finally, after a few more moments of silence, they got back to where Xanthus and Jack were.

"Oh, you guys back already?" Xanthus quickly approached the two of them as they landed in the darkness, "That was fast."

"Thankfully," Viel said, "It just floated near us before Lu Yi could talk me to death."

"Kakaka!"

"Stop it!" Lu Yi quickly punched Xanthus, "Look at the influence you have dawned upon the boy, he is becoming a ruffian!"

"What did you say!?"

"You guys just continued to argue, I am going out," Viel raised his hand as he was about to step out of his consciousness, but before he could leave, he looked at Lu Yi.

"...The aliens, what do they look like?"

"Let me see," Lu Yi closed her eyes for a few moments before releasing a small breath, "All of them seem to have blue skin of different shades, the strands of their hair are thicker than you would normally see… and blue as well. They only have 2 fingers and a thumb in each hand, but other than that, there's not that much difference with what you are used to."

"That feels pretty different," Viel could not help but say in a monotonous tone, "But I guess Xanthus is still weirder."

"You are right about that."

"Wha--"

Before Xanthus could rebuke, Viel had already disappeared.

"Haa, classic," Xanthus could only shrug his horn-filled shoulders, "The boy really has grown a lot, hasn't he? Already more than a hundred years old, wow."

"Soon, the whole universe would know of his existence," Jack suddenly spoke up as he stepped forward, "Some of them will worship him, idolize him. But certainly, most will fear and even try to hunt him down. But most certainly, none of them could do anything to him."

"...Way to kill the mood, man."

Back outside the cylindrical room where Viel was being kept, time seemed to still sit frozen. But as soon as he opened his unseeing eyes once again, time once again moved for all of them.

"Greetings, aliens," Viel then raised his hand to greet all of them, "...Although in this case, am I the alien? Or are all of us aliens?"

"You could speak our language?"

The blue-skinned people that surrounded Viel all looked at each other, their faces filled with curiosity and confusion, "Speak, apparition, from which of the worlds are you?"

"From far away," Viel no longer bothered repeating what world he was from, "But most importantly, my name is Viel."

The blue-skinned humanoids once again whispered to one another, looking at a screen that was attached to their arms before once again focusing on Viel.

"You seem to be a Type-R species," the one that sat at the upper-most level of the cylindrical room then stood up as she looked towards Viel. She then jumped down, using a sort of device attached around her feet to slow down her descent, "Tell me, how long have you survived in space without anything to support you?"

"Uh… Give or take 20 years?" Viel slightly leaned back as he could feel the female alien looking at his face unusually closer than he would like.

"20 years!?" Once again, the female alien looked at the screen on her arm as she fidgeted, "There are no species capable of that in the Known Universe!"

The female alien then quickly jumped back as she once again repeated her first question, "F… from which world are you?"

"Let's just say I am... a god?"
