In a vast and empty darkness,

"That was a drakel champion! This really is my world!"

Lord God Lu Yi was currently sticking her head on the screen. A very excited expression can be seen on her face, it was as if she became a child.

"Aha, I see your world is as weird as you, friend. So many unusual things", Demon God Xanthus had his hand on his chin as he mocked Lu Yi's excited demeanor. It was not everyday that you see the Lord God being exuberant, like a little child.

"Tch. If only your brain was as big as your horns, then maybe thou can comprehend the intricacies and advances of my world. But alas, thine brain is like that of a monkey's, only able to use sticks and stones"

"W-what's that!? You want to fight!?"

"Bring it!"

Lu Yi then jumped back and readied her fighting stance, probing Xanthus to do the same.

The two circled around each other as they release slurs and insults.

"You two really are not getting bored of each other. It is quite a delight to see, if I may say so", the Judge of Karma, or rather Jack, could not help but sigh as he watched the two once again bicker with one another.

Jack then stared at the screen in front, "But truly, this is unusual"

"Hah! Even Jack agrees!"

"W-what!? Judge of Karma, forgive my insolence, but you are on this imbecile's side!?"

Xanthus had a smug smirk on his face as he gained a little victory against Lu Yi. However, both Lu Yi and Xanthus could not help but put up a serious expression while listening to Jack's explanation.

"No. I meant the portal. My knowledge might be failing me, but I am certain that the distance between your world and Xanthus' are centillions away. Teleportation should be impossible, even more so a wide range portal like this one. This is, if I may say so, truly unusual."

"'Tis indeed. I do believe my world also does not have the technology to do so. Even if it has been a while since I last visited it when I was still… living", Lu Yi placed her hand on her chin. She knows the technology of her world, and a wide-range teleportation device capable of two-way transportation? Even for her world, that was science fiction.

"Do you know of a world that is capable of this wide-range teleportation you guys speak of, Jack?", Xanthus who was still lost about all this talk of technology can't help but ask, in order to join in on the conversation.

Jack closed his eyes, completely deliberating what Xanthus has said. He tried to carefully scour his boundless memories. But no matter how much he tried, there was none. There was, however, something that stood out from his very recent memory.

"Remember the hand that reached out for the boy?"

"Definitely, that hand looked… very ominous. Still gives me the creeps until now", Xanthus shook his whole body as if he touched something disgusting.

"Hand? What hand are you two speaking of?", Lu Yi was at a lost.

"Right, you were… knocked out when it happened", Xanthus remembered the terrible event. Lu Yi's whole existence was about to crumble due to Viel's excessive use of power. But then…

"He used a new skill, not belonging to the three of us"

Xanthus then recounted what happened to Lu Yi. About Viel using a skill from a soul named Rain, and about the mysterious hand that came from a crack in space.

"Rain? Who is that?", this was also the first time Lu Yi was hearing the name.

"We do not know yet. Jack tried searching around, but as usual, he couldn't find anything, or for that matter, anyone"

"Hmm. Then are you saying this portal was made by the owner of this mysterious hand?", Lu Yi asked.

"It is similar, but not quite", Jack shook his head, "One thing I do know of… Mr. Voice, the hand, and now these portals. They all have the same feeling"

"And what feeling is that?"

"That they do not exist… in our universe"

Hearing this, Lu Yi's eyes turned wide, "Are you… suggesting a different universe? But that's…"

"Impossible, I know. That I am certain of, at least until now. The boy truly is surrounded with nothing but mysteries.", Jack looked at the screen, no longer saying anything.

Lu Yi breathed heavily. Rain, the hand, the portals. It just keeps adding up. A mystery on top of another, and they were a witness to it. And there really was only one thing they could do…

"Baby Viel, whatever happens, whatever path you choose… we're here for you"

Lu Yi looked on to the horizon that appeared on the screen. Truly, Viel's adventure has not even started yet.

"…."

"Uhm… guys, what's a unibeers?"

"…."

"…."

"Eeek!"

Xianying backed away as Xing Cai placed the drakel champion's carcass in front of her.

"I assume the materials from this beast is mine?", Xing Cai said as she stretched her arms and wiped the drakel's blood from her face, "Its claws would be perfect as a blade."

"W-what? Y-yes, Master! All the rights belong to you!", Xianying stuttered as she looked at the golden carcass. This was her first time seeing a drakel champion up close, not to mention a freshly dead one. It truly did look different than the ones from their local museum.

Xing Cai nodded, a bit of excitement can be seen in her eyes. The drakel would surely make a fine addition to her arsenal and boost her status as an elder of the Golden Pavilion. But then she shook her head as she realized something- this was not the time to be thinking of herself.

Xing Cai looked at the still remaining hundreds of thousands of drakels. As soon as she defeated the drakel champion, the flying drakels immediately swarmed the nest and surrounded it. Not even a needle can pass through the enclosure that they have made. They have now completely confined and guarded the queen's nest.

"With the drakel champion, I am afraid the queen will lay more of its children faster than we can kill it due to being threatened", Xianying agonized as she looked at the drakels through her binoculars, "It will take a week before the particle-beam cannon to arrive, by then the number of drakels would have doubled. Damn it!"

"It… lays children by the second? How is it even capable of managing that feat?", Xing Cai tried to recall the image of the Drakel Queen, it was big. But to be able to give birth every second? What kind of nonsense is that?

"I am afraid you have to ask the scientists for that, Master Xing Cai. My knowledge on biology is limited to the foods I eat", Xianying slightly chuckled.

As the two women were conversing, a heavy sigh could be heard coming from behind them, "Pfft. How would you pair of oldies even know if you have not even lay children until now? Ha… you wasted your youth."

"..W-what did you say?", Xing Cai's eye twitched. Once again, Viel found a way to call her old. Her, the beauty of the Golden Pavilion.

"W-why am I included, Lord Viel!? I am still youn-", Xianying was about to rebute, but she gulped when she saw what Viel was currently up to.

He was currently poking holes on the golden drakel's carapace… using his index finger. And he had a bored expression on his face as well while doing it, it was as if he was just wasting time making holes on thin wood. She also heard Viel being amazed with how hard the carapace is. Xianying felt her sanity going down a few levels.

Viel sighed again and shook his head as he stood up, "If it was Grandma Ling, I am sure she would have lay a thousand children per second. Truly, you guys have wasted your youth, and now it has passed, with nothing to show for", said Viel as he looked on to the horizon.

"Y-you're really pushing it too far this time, Viel!", Xing Cai approached the oblivious Viel and lightly hit him on the head. "And women don't lay children! They give birth!"

When Viel heard Xing Cai's last words, his head shook uncontrollably as he slowly looked at Xing Cai, his eyes wide in shock. "W-w-what!? B-but Grandpa Ling told me women have…"

"Forget about what your Grandpa Ling said! He is not always right!", Xing Cai hollered. As a matter of fact, almost everything that Grandpa Ling have taught Viel was… nonsense. But Xing Cai was not that cold to insult the man who took care of Viel.

"Tch, you just don't know the genius of Grandpa Ling"

Or maybe she should have.

Xing Cai closed her eyes and breathed heavily. Talking to Viel was more tiring than fighting the golden drakel.

"You oldies should rest, let me handle these ugly creatures"

Viel then suddenly raised his hand.

And then, it was as if the heavens opened up, a ray of light fell from above, almost spanning a kilometer in diameter.

Everything it touched seemed to disintegrate. Either crumbling to dust or melting. But for some reason, the heat it produced made Xianying feel relaxed, completely opposite of what the effects she was currently seeing. It lasted for only a few seconds, but its effects were undeniable. It shaped the very field in front of them.

The drakel nest and the hundreds of thousands of drakels were nowhere to find, all that was left was a circular concave dug deep in the ground.

"T-that was amazing… Lord Viel!", Xianying was now completely a believer. Viel really is a god, she thought.

"Eehh…", Viel, however, has as conflicted expression on his face.

Xing Cai was looking at the sky, her legs shaking.

"W-what's going on, Master?? Lord Viel?"

"That wasn't me", Viel scratched his chin as he slightly chuckled. He truly did not cast a skill, for before he can even do so, the ray of light suddenly appeared.

As soon as Viel finished his words, she summoned her shield and put up her stance. She was biting her lips as she looked at the skies above, her knees shaking. "Lieutenant, ready the flying box and get ready to run!"

"W-why!? C-can anyone tell me what's going o-", before Xianying can finish her words, the reason for Xing Cai's worried state showed itself, or rather, themselves.

Three men wearing white robes were floating in the sky. The trio had wings on their back, seemingly made of light, as one could be blinded for staring at it for too long.

Xianying was speechless. She was frozen stiff by the presence of the newcomers. However, she was easily awakened from her stupor by Xing Cai's shout.

"What are you waiting for!? Start the damn flying box!"

"A-at once!"

But before she could do so, the three men suddenly appeared in front of them.

Xing Cai's whole body shook. She tried her best to remain standing, using her shield as support. It was getting harder for her to breathe as the pressure from the three men crawled throughout her body. She knew that she was no match against even one of them and her whole body seemed to agree with her.

And then, one of them spoke.

"Senior, are you sure this little runt is the Lord God?"

"Silence! I would not have you disrespect the Lord God! There is no mistake, he was the one who used the Lord God's skill earlier.", the oldest one of the three scolded. And after doing so, kneeled down.

"Tch.."

One of the winged men was reluctant as he clicked his tongue, but still, he too bent the knee. Followed by the remaining one at the back.

"Lord God, your servants greet you!", then all of them shouted at the same time as they bowed their heads.

"W-what!?", Xing Cai then looked at the direction they were bowing to, Viel.

Xianying was at a loss as to what to do, unlike Xing Cai, who can feel the strength of the three men, she was oblivious to it. Right now, she did not know whether she should start the car or not.

But then, she saw Viel looking at her, his eyes wide in shock and his face shaking.

"M-miss Xianying… y-you… you are god!? No…no, please forgive me for my transgressions", Viel said as he bowed multiple times towards Xianying. Sweat started to appear on his face. He remembered teasing Xianying, no, God Xianying about her boobies.

"W-what!? N-no! They are looking at you!"

"Eh!?", Viel then turned his head towards the three winged men.

"Congratulations on successfully reincarnating, Lord God!"

"EEHH!?"
