Rise of the Cosmic_Emperor

694 Primordial Manipulation!

Empty as Hal felt, he still noted a connection between himself and the piece of Order that had just been ripped out of him, and that made him feel worse.

The monk held the formless piece of Order that had been synthesized with Chaos and when he looked over at Primordial Will, the Avatar of Chaos, he chuckled with a smug smile that seemed a tad out of place on his usually benign smiling face.

Primordial Will had furrowed brows as it watched that energy but it said nothing and made no attempts to go after it... A few seconds passed and he looked over at Nihasa,

"You truly believe you picked the winning side?" he asked her in a voice of barely restrained rage.

Nihasa looked as though she had not heard him speak and had not heard that underlying tone of anger as she shrugged,

"I really don't care who wins between you two... Just lie neither he the two of you cared how your battle impacted the lives of the very creations you are vieing over..." she began but before she was done with her speech, a bright light appeared.

The light dimmed and it left behind a golden-eyed beauty with calf-length black hair and a royally adorned woman with blond hair and golden eyes.

At the appearance of the adorned beauty, Nihasa frowned before she said through tight lips that barely moved,

"Sariel"

The apparition of the Primeval Virtue queen took a second or two to touch her hands on the wall of the private section before she acknowledged Nihasa's presence and the look on her face was quite similar to that of her nemesis,

"Nihasa... Fancy meeting you here" she said as the Devil Queen looked her from top to bottom and then back before saying,

"Ostentatious as always... Subtlety was never your strong suit"

Melinda couldn't care less about the spite shown by both ladies and neither did she care about the monk standing close to Hal or the other man in a chaotic mix of clothing... The only thing that got her attention was Hal on his knees clutching his chest.

"Hal!" Melinda yelled out to him before she was at his side in barely a second and supporting him while Hal was now looking down and away from the energy in the monk's hand.

"What's wrong? What happened?" Melinda asked in worry before Hal passed a quick summary into her mind... He still had enough strength to do that.

The summary was enough to give Melinda the general idea of what was going on while it also revealed to Melinda that the black-haired seductress striking a seductive pose even as she engaged in a heated exchange with Sariel the Virtue Queen was his mother, the Primeval Devil Queen.

Naturally, Melinda had a lot of questions, the first one being how exactly he now seemed to have two mothers and not only was now not really the time for that question, but Hal also now had his attention on something else.

Hal looked at the face of Primordial Will and saw that behind the furrowing of grows and apparent disapproval of what Order seemed to have done through its Avatar, there was- relief?

'I need to know more' Hal thought and his first thought went to the Primordial Cosmic Grimoire that had been silent in his mind space since the arrival of Primordial will.

This turn to the Grimoire was more than a reflexive action from Hal who had been turning to it for information for so long but also because the Grimoire was a creation of Primordial will who is an Avatar of Chaos and so the Grimoire was a creation of Choas.

Add that to the fact that Hal still had his bloodline that was apparently connected to Chaos and he felt that he might be able to replicate his memory snooping trick on Chaos.

Looking through Order's memories had been enlightening and while Hal was not yet sure how this would come into play, he wanted more of that knowledge that made him lore or less confident that he could snoop into the memories of the other Primordial force of creation.

Still clutching his chest and still feeling Melinda's arms around him, Hal took a trip into his bloodline, quite easily found it littered with connections to Chaos, and went into his mind space for the completion.

Grimoire was still silent... Its mouth sealed shut as it just floated in Hal's mind space as though lacking purpose, but Hal got what he wanted from it and away he went into the memories of Chaos.

The start was similar that of Order and mostly just complemented Order's version without contradiction so Hal mostly skipped through those memories... Especially since the head-expanding phenomenon was ever-present.

And then Hal saw that Order might not have become as paranoid as one might have thought...

Indeed Chaos was corrupting but it was not entirely by choice.

For all the bad things Choas is associated with (Rightfully so), there is also a lot of good.

Emotions indeed originate from Choas in a jumbled mess that never really had its own chosen path and just... Existed.

Where Order was dogmatic and Orderly while also knowing exactly what it was and what it wanted right from very start, Choas had always been uncertain... Never knew what it wanted.

It exists without anything to impact... In the beginning, Chaos never really had meaning...

Creation gave chaos meaning... The mass of various emotions (all of which had been a jumbled mess) now made sense...

In every emotionally charged event that occurred, Chaos found meaning...

However, Choas had its flaws as it was similar to the one that plagued Order...

Order wished to rid all creation of negative emotion by getting rid of Choas and Choas wanted to rid of the order and uniformity by getting rid of... Order.

The timeline of both agendas from what Hal had witnessed coincided with each other and it was why, when Order came with the intention to do battle, Choas was ready.

As he watched them begin to fight, a fight he had seen in Order's memories, Hal smiled to himself because somehow he had caught something that the two forces of creation could not see...

Order had thought of it once but quickly forgot the moment the idea of conflict arose and that was that; both Order and Choas were just two parts of a whole.

They complemented one another and ruined one another.

They brought out the best in one another and could also bring out the worst in each other...

The best being the spark of creation they had formed by a peaceful coming together of the two and the worst being the violent blast that had almost wiped out the very creation they both wished to impact full control of their different concepts on.

Following the destructive blast, Chaos eventually created its Avatar with plans of increased strength when it was done healing... Increased strength with which it could then defeat Order.

The plan was to cause an ultimate disruption of the natural order with the use of the Sovereign Dao.

The Sovereign Dao that gives an individual control over Cosmic energy (a by-product of the spark of creation) was a unique power that revealed the lie told to the Primevals upon their creation.

The lie that they would always only be second to Order and Chaos.

The ten Primevals had been engaged in conflict for millions of years before the Great Catastrophe (battle between Order and Chaos) and they have fought for the right to truly be number one of the ten... Something they had all thought was impossible because they were all Supremes i.e possessed the Supreme Dao and equally blessed by the forces of creation.

Never was it revealed to the Primevals that there could actually be one above them all and the reason was a showcase of Order's incessant need for Uniformity.

Ten Primevals... All with equal Authority... All divided evenly as agents of either Order or Choas...

That WAS uniform and that WAS the Order that had been put in place.

There was no need for a Sovereign and there was certainly no need to give anyone control over Cosmic energy.

Just as Chaos could do nothing about Order's plan to synthesize a part of it and could only watch it unfold, Order could also do nothing when Choas (acting through Primordial Will) put its plans of causing the rise of a Sovereign into action.

They both knew they were up to something but interference in each other's plans was not possible in their current state which Hal found to be comical as this future battle between the two seemed to be shaping up to be another disastrous tie.

It was ss though, they were both just blind to the effects of each other's plans and could not see how equal they were all likely to be in the end.

It was comical and Hal would have probably allowed himself a chuckle but what he saw next (the plans that involved the Grimoire) made that hard.

The Primordial Cosmic Grimoire was created and it moved from host to host... From the Mortal realm to the Cosmic realm...

Influencing the thoughts and ambitions of its hosts... Influencing them to dream of one day surpassing the strongest and establishing themselves as truly number one on the ladder of power.

Every host of the Primordial Cosmic Grimoire has been influenced to one day achieve what Hal had achieved; Comprehending the Dao Of Sovereignty...

... He was just the only host to have succeeded and lived long enough after his success to find out what was going on.
