The others cultivators started to lose their will when they saw even Zhang Zhongchang couldn't do a thing to approach the treasure.

Just before they turned back and left, the light from the direction of the lake receded, and space trembled. Whatever the thing that barred them from moving forward had finally disappeared.

Smile coming back on the cultivators' faces, and, led by Zhang Zhongchang, they rushed toward the treasure's location.

"Snowy, we finally did it! My father will recover soon!" exclaim Feng Xue ecstatically.

"Un. Let's head back, so we can treat your father sooner," replied Snowy.

"Aah~, I finally get out from this place~," said Rong Hua while her nose wiggled in joy.

Feng Xue squinted her eyes and sternly warned Rong Hua, "Little rabbit, you must behave if you want to follow us, you understand?"

"Okey, dokey~ I'm always a good a girl and "definitely not a troublemaker" is my moniker. Don't worry!" said Rong Hua lightly.

Feng Xue sighed helplessly. She could already picture a future full of trouble because of a certain white bunny.

"Let's go, Xue, Rong Hua," urged Snowy.

"Okay!"

Feng Xue summoned her flying sword right away and helped Snowy climbed and stood behind her. Meanwhile, Rong Hua sat lazily on Snowy's head.

Actually, with Rong Hua's help, they could instantly teleport back to Phoenix City.

But, because it was the first time she left the Blackwood Forest, Rong Hua requested that they used the usual method instead.

She wanted to leisurely travel while enjoying the scenic view of the outside world.

When they about to take off, a sudden voice interrupted them.

"Young lady, don't rush to leave!"

Snowy looked at a group of people that quickly approached them. They seemed to be the cultivators who usually hunt spirit beasts and gather spirit medicine within the forest. It was understandable that the dazzling light attracted them during Nine-Petal Lotus blooming time.

She then looked at the middle-aged man who told them to stop.

'He looks as powerful as Lin Ming. But the man beside him is quite strong.'

Snowy stared at the middle-aged man and his company vigilantly while made a mental note to keep her eyes on the Nascent Soul Stage cultivator beside the man.

"What do you want?" said Feng Xue with a voice as clear and cold as a block of ice.

"Oh, where's my manner," Zhang Zhongchang realized that Snowy and Feng Xue must be startled by their sudden appearance. He wore his warmest smile and spoke to them softly, "My name is Zhang Zhongchang, Chief of the Eastern Star Chamber of Commerce's branch in Central Area. I just want to ask the two young ladies how long you've been here."

Snowy glanced at him and nodded as if she was understood something, "So you wanted to know about the treasure whereabouts."

Zhang Zhongchang scratched his head and let out a wry chuckle. The lady in front of her was very straightforward and bluntly revealed his intention. He couldn't help but be slightly embarrassed.

"I'm sorry for my friend's lack of tact. She didn't intendedly want to offend you, Lord Zhang. I've long heard your thunderous reputation. It was my honor to meet you in person," said Feng Xue to dispel the awkward atmosphere, her voice no longer cold but as pleasant-sounding as a chirp of Oriole.

Her vigilance toward Zhang Zhongchang had lessened significantly when she heard his name. The Eastern Star Chamber of Commerce was known as a reputable company and cared a lot about their face.

Even though Zhang Zhongchang was quite interested in the Nine-Petal Lotus, Feng Xue believed that he wouldn't use any despicable means to besmirch his company's good name.

Hearing her way of speaking that resembled noble, Zhang Zhongchang could guess that she was someone from a great background and currently in disguise. He fixed his attitude and address them more politely, "It's my pleasure to be recognized by Young Miss."

He continued while lightly chuckling, "To be honest, I am slightly interested in the so said unattainable treasure. Who knows that Young Miss had already got your hand on it first. If I'm allowed, may I see the treasure?"

Feng Xue pondered a bit and nodded at Snowy, giving her permission to take the lotus out.

Snowy summoned the Nine-Petal Lotus, which already fully bloomed, emitting a mild but alluring fragrance.

The cultivators who gather around Snowy and Feng Xue felt their bodies refreshed and invigorated as they inhaled the lotus' scent. This made them realized that the treasure was an outstanding medicinal plant, something that could be their lifeline in a pinch.

Some of the cultivators had been looking at Snowy and Feng Xue with greedy eyes when they first arrived in the lake, but now, after Snowy showing the lotus to the public, their gaze became more intense.

But, no one dared to make a move as Zhang Zhongchang's presence deterred them. They could only wait patiently for him to conclude her deal before they take action.

"Are Young Miss willing to sell it to me? Please, any price was negotiable," said Zhang Zhongchang sincerely.

However, Feng Xue shook her head readily, "Thanks for your offer, Lord Zhang. But, I'm in urgent need of the treasure, so I don't have any desire to sell it right now."

Zhang Zhongchang didn't give up and made another proposal, "Don't be quick to refuse Young Miss. Just tell me what you want, and I'll do my best to fulfill your request."

He might sound arrogant, but he had the capital to do so. Something that couldn't be provided by a behemoth existence like the Eastern Star Chamber of Commerce could be counted on the finger.

Feng Xue frowned a bit due to Zhang Zhongchang's pushy attitude but quickly back to her business smile and said, "Thank you for your consideration, Lord Zhang. To be honest, we had received some help from Madam Suyan in the last auction. I believed she had told you one or two things about us, no?"

Zhang Zhongchang was slightly taken back by the implication of Feng Xue's words.

Before, he was only guessing the origin of the two young women in front of him, but now, he was certain that she was the heir of the Feng Family and her mysterious friend who sold two Earth-rank Techniques in Phoenix City Auction.

Madam Feng had requested his help to check Snowy's background but didn't get any satisfying result. She was as elusive as an old hermit.

"If Young Miss really doesn't want to sell it, then what can I do? I hope we can have a good business on another occasion."

Zhang Zhongchang finally let out a peal of awkward laughter and gave up pursuing this matter. He didn't want to make one the Great Families and someone as mysterious as Snowy to be his enemy.

"Of course. We will contact Madam Suyan if we have business in the future," replied Feng Xue cordially.

Zhang Zhongchang gave a slight bow and cupped his hand to Snowy and Feng Xue before finally leaving with his entourage.
