"Anyway, I smell herbs and medicine's fragrant even from afar. Are you inviting someone else? Is the person someone I know?" asked Master Chen Xi excitedly. 

"Well…." After giving it a thought, Elder Yang revealed in a hushed voice," Do you remember from where I said I got the recipe was?"

"Hmm, if I'm not wrong, you said a girl that might come from an Ancient family or whatever gave you the recipe," replied Master Chen Xi with a lackadaisical attitude. 

Grand Alchemist Chen Xi suddenly understood the meaning of Elder Yang's question and he stated his guess with a slightly agitated voice. Eyes filled with curiosity, "Is she connected to this Alchemist? No wonder they seem to come out of nowhere, it makes sense if they are a member of Ancient Family," 

"To be exact, she was the one who would concoct the medicine," Elder Yang corrected Grand Alchemist Chen Xi's conjecture.

"Hmm? She is an alchemist too? I remember you said that she was only providing the recipe, but she couldn't concoct it herself. If she actually could do it, why are you contacting me?" asked Master Chen Xi, felt a bit confused.

"This… She was really couldn't refine the medicine at that time," uttered Elder Yang while an awkward smile formed on his lip.

"Are you trying to say that she had become an alchemy grandmaster in just a month? Are you trying to play me for a fool? Do you think I won't smash your head with a poison bomb?!" Master Chen Xi fumed with rage, and his eyes turned bloodshot.

He was usually an easy-going person and not the type that would easily felt offended. 

That was why a lot of people act amiable toward him and befriend him.

However, when it came to alchemy, he changed into a different person. 

He became impatient, short-tempered, and frequently act with reckless abandon.

He was really an Alchemy Freak!

"Wait a moment, Master Chen! I only spoke the truth and didn't have any slightest idea to offense you! She is truly an alchemy grandmaster!"

"How can you be sure? There's a lot of people out there claim to be an alchemy grandmaster just because they can concoct Earth-rank pill," sneered Grand Alchemist Chen Xi.

"I also doubted her skill initially; thus, I gave her a recipe to test her ability. After that, I'm fully convinced that she was indeed a grandmaster."

"What recipe you told her to make?"

Hearing the name of the recipe, Master Chen Xi's anger quickly receded and changed into curiosity.

"So, how about the result?" inquired him. 

"This… I'm afraid you won't believe me…." Elder Yang scratched his head while chuckling awkwardly.

"Quit the suspense! Tell me how the test went?!" demanded Grand Alchemist Chen Xi impatiently. 

"Apparently, that was her first time concoct the pills, and… she succeeds."

Master Chen Xi gasped," A-and the quality?"

"70% purity and 50% chance to breakthrough!"

"Ssssh…." He couldn't help but suck a deep breath.

"No, you can call me Brother Chen. After seeing such magnificent pill, I feel that I'm not worthy of such title," said Chen Xi in a strong tone.

"Uuh… like I said brother Chen," Elder Yang still awkward for addressing grandmaster Chen so intimate," It's not that I don't want to introduce you to her, but she was still preparing to refine the antidote."

"You are an alchemist yourself. So, you must've known better than me that it's rude for another alchemy to see another people's method without permission," said Elder Yang. He implied to this troublesome grandmaster that he should leave

"It's okay brother Chen, I understand, please leave it to me," said Grandmaster Chen Xi.

'What exactly do you understand?' he felt that he and Grand Alchemist Chen Xi wasn't on the same page.

But left without another choice after seeing his persistence, Elder yang reluctantly guided the elderly alchemist to the refining room.

What made Elder Yang scared out of his mind was, just after they arrive outside the refining chamber, Grand Master Chen suddenly prostrated and shout.

"Oh, esteemed Grand Alchemist! This unworthy Chen Xi is here to shamelessly asked for a pointer! I hope you can grant me your benevolence!"

"Brother Chen! What are you doing?! This is not appropriate isn't it?" 

"No, this is nothing compared to a chance to observe her in action! If she wanted me to lick her feet, I'll gladly do so!"
