The Black Necromancer

513 Exaggerated Combat Power

"Indeed, none of those chosen to serve the Master are weak." Kaladin nodded his head and turned his attention to the two other summons. Oris and Seth were also veritable powerhouses, and they did not try to sneak around. Although they were not as unscrupulous as Rainer, they were still able to handle multiple celestial creatures at a time without losing out to them.

"They are also very powerful. The powers of Space and Darkness are both unique and strange in their own right." Kaladin commented, rubbing his chin.

Oris used his wings to conjure massive spatial storms that ripped apart everything that got caught in its range. His wings cut through any beast that got in his way, as they were coated in a layer of sharp spatial armor, good for defense and offense.

In his true form, Oris towered over almost every other creature that he ran into, except for the exceptionally larger ones. With a wingspan that was well over a dozen meters, and his body that was well over half a dozen meters long, he was able to dominate a lot of other creatures when it came to physical force.

"Caw! Come and be shredded by my claws!" Oris' eyes burned with the heat of battle intent as he twisted his body and dove downwards. The space around him twisted, as if it was being wringed like a wet cloth.

BOOM!

Oris dove right into the ground, but just as he was about to come into contact with the hardy earth, his figure flickered and vanished. However, the twisted space that he had brought with him did not vanish.

A powerful spatial anomaly that caused the bodies of everything caught in it to twist horridly exploded. The earth was twisting like dough and the bodies of the creatures were torn apart without much fanfare.

Oris watched all this from up in the sky. His wings were flapped effortlessly at his sides. He could remain in the air without flapping them, but it felt more natural for him to use his wings to remain airborne.

Kaladin watched attentively as he witnessed Oris use his abilities to manipulate space to easily demolish and rip apart any enemy he came across. Even other space oriented celestial creatures that should have won over him due to their extensive experience in manipulating space were dealt with after Oris exerted a bit more effort in the fight than normal.

Normally, Kaladin would have questioned this, but he did not even dare to at this time. After all, he was feeling the same change within his Divine Spark. With each passing moment, their Master grew stronger, and that formed a sort of feedback loop that also fed into them and made them more powerful.

He had already confirmed this change with Grokus and Nero. Among the three of them, Grokus, who was more well versed in all sorts of esoteric and mystical arts was able to sense the changes much clearer than the rest of them, and he had confirmed that their strength was growing rapidly due to Leon's own strength also growing.

Finally, Kaladin turned to Seth. The Dark Serpent had also released his true form. Unlike Oris whose true form was still a reasonable size, Seth had turned into a gargantuan snake monster that could not be ignored. Wherever he passed, he destroyed the habitats of the creatures living there. If they tried to fight him, he would make quick work of them by flooding their bodies with Darkness and causing them to decay from the inside out.

The giant black snake's fangs dripped with black poison. Wherever the giant drops of black poison landed, a giant crater would be left in its place when it dissipated, which it did a few moments later. The life in the surrounding areas would be sapped of life, with trees dying off and turning into husks, while the earth would lose its lush brown and rich tone, turning to a pale gray that reeked of death and a lack of vitality.

As Kaladin watched, he realized that Seth's blatant killing power might actually be on the same level as that of Rainer's! This was amazing, as such stellar attack power was something incredibly rare and hard to come by!

"If they had been present in the battle against the Vanguard Forces of the Army of Destruction, then things might have been much easier." Kaladin deduced. He shared his findings with Nero and Grokus who had been busy with their own matters. However, upon hearing of the outstanding killing ability of the three newly ascended summons, they hurriedly made their way over to witness it for themselves.

"You are right. Their strength is extraordinary! I reckon they might be able to fight toe to toe with us for a time!" Grokus folded his green meaty arms and exclaimed, looking truly intrigued. Beside him, Nero nodded his head silently, but everyone could feel the heated fighting intent that emanated from his body in waves.

"Restrain yourself, brother. Maybe you can fight them later. But for now, remain still and watch." Kaladin eyes Nero before turning back to the fights that were unfolding before him.

Each of the three newly ascended summons continued to dominate the floating island for the next day. It was only after they had made their way to the center of the island that they finally stopped. The three exchanged looked with each other, all filled with respect. They had felt the waves of power that rippled from various corners of the island, so they knew that each of the others were very powerful.

At this time, the space above them fluctuated and Kaladin, Nero and Grokus all appeared before them.

"Well done in proving your strength. You did well." Kaladin nodded at them. "However, you have yet to completely prove yourselves." He added, his tone a bit mocking.

BOOM!

A shockwave exploded from his body, his robes waving violently in the air. Lighting crackled around him and an artificial lightning storm that was created by his mere presence came into being.
